When Tatay Felipe said, "I hope we'll see each other again," and then Tatay Romeo replied, "We'll see each other there," I literally burst into tears at that part because that was their final meeting and possibly the most beautiful moment in their lives. Tatay Romeo said, "These are the last two minutes of our lives," and that's it, they did what they wanted, to be heard by everyone. And now, they're peacefully doing their grand serenades and singing their favorite songs in heaven. They're being listened to by the Almighty.
Just watched this today. Thank you Florante for showcasing the talents that would have otherwise been buried in their graves. Made me realize how important it is to do what you love doing, while you still can. I felt like watching my Lolo(s) fulfill their lifelong dream. Harana songs are so pure and full of emotions and honesty. I did shed a few tears on their "farewell" scene but at the same time, very happy for them kasi kitang kita mo talaga na napakaligaya nila. What a way to spend the final years of their lives. Again, salamat for putting together this awesome documentary. Lots of love from Australia.
@@Fides-E no wonder Florante looks a bit older in his other videos. Medyo nagtataka ako parang ang bilis ata nag age. LOL...thanks for clarifying and sorry about the very late response. You must be very proud po. This production is a Filipino treasure.
Just watched this today with my son and my mom (who is 82). She started singing along to some of the songs. I asked how she knew them and she said that she used to sing them with my Lola when they would iron clothes for money. I asked her when the last time she heard them and she said back when she sang them with her. I got hella emotional. Thank you for this documentary and preserving this dying tradition ♥️

While some might compare this style to Spanish or Mexican music, I still believe it has unique qualities that make it unmistakably Filipino. That feeling of complete surrender of the self to one's beloved, combined with the irony and pessimism of the lyrical content, as well as the pathetic, grassroots character of the vocal execution...what one might call "pagkasawi". This is just something I don't find in other Spanish-influenced genres. And fittingly so since the oppression under Spain reflects in the gloom of the music. So there's this historical precedent as well. It's Filipino in the way Jolibee spaghetti is Filipino...based on an existing Western recipe yet not quite like the original.
The pre-colonial peoples of the Philippines had existing courtship rituals and rites long before Spain arrived. Kundiman is also uniquely Tagalog. Harana is unique to the Philippines because of this amalgamation of indigenous and colonial influences. We Filipinos best remember that. Spain did not give us Harana. That’s ours from the very beginning
Tama ka jan lods ... Nung araw kc cguro la pa recordings kaya uniquely pinoy style of singing yung nadebelop.

I listen to all kinds or music, from skrillex dubstep to mozart's classics, but nothing touches my soul and roots more then Harana songs. My uncle is also fond of this type of music and other rondalla songs. There is something just so beautiful about these songs, I hope we Filipinos learn how to appreciate and live this kind of music, our kind of music.

I was planning to watch this for two minutes when it came on, it piqued my curiosity as I was looking for an old Filipino folk song, but hey, here I am, nearing the end of this beautiful documentary. I must say I salute you and I must say that you Florante truly have the purest of hearts for the Filipino tradition which is sadly slowly fading if not completely forgotten. Thank you very much, you earned my admiration. ❤
Never got tired of this. I so admire you Florante for finding these wonderful men who still remembered their “Harana” songs. You gave them life, truly brought them happiness. I can’t explain the love and emotions I feel when I watch the video. The way you found them and created this video is truly amazing! Your interaction with the people is such that they love you. Thank you again Florante. ❤
😮 q.!!,,❤1..I.." . . ..With a thankful heart Florante ...for the happiness you've brought to my twilight years, ...once again to feel youth is exhilirating....🤗💕🌷👏🏻👍🌸🌷....a Documentary fo keeps by : FLORANTE AGUILAR ...!!!
I saw the thumbnail and no second toughts, I watch it immediately. I grew up in the 90's and in the alternative rock era. Then we moved to Batangas in mid '97. I heard those elders playing harana and kundimans which is very facinating for a boy who was born in the Metros. I really missed those old days, no cellphone, no internet, not all have TV's, most of the times there were power interuptions and all you have to do was to listen to those elders ( Ka Sergio and Ka Nardo ) who tirelessly played harana songs and kundimans. I knew that Tatay Felipe and Tatay Tino are singing with all of their hearts up there. Kudos to you Maestro Florante, these songs will never be forgotten. ❤❤❤
I'm now 69 years old and my eyes got misty! Harana is one of our valued Filipino culture that reflects the true Filipino spirit! Salute to you, Florante Aguilar, for taking time & sacrifice to make this precious documentary! Hoping that through your documentary, Harana culture will be revived! Haranistas may vanish but the essence of harana, the SONG, will live on through the years! It only need a few young generation, with the deep Filipino spirit, to stir up the sleepy water! Florante Aguilar may your tribe increase among our young generation to carry on this GIFT the heaven gifted our nation! Just a few notes from those old songs will surely touch the dormant emotion in one's heart. The Filpino way of singing is just unique among the Filipinos! I could still remember Charmaine Clamor, who's based in the U.S., but still singing and reviving the Filipino culture keeping it alive! Wish you two would be able to meet and join your God-given gifts, to keep this Filipino culture of Harana alive!
BEST DOCUMENTARY FOR ME AS A GEN Z NA MINSAN NAG IISIP KUNG WHAT IF UNTIL NOW HARANA PADIN ANG WAY OF COURTING .APAKA GANDA SIGURO KUNG GANON MAN PS.BEST DOCUMENTARY THANK YOU MISTER
It’s year 2024 and Harana songs are literally still the sweetest 🥹 So happy I stumble upon a post on facebook about this documentary. I never thoughtthis documentary exists. As someone who lives in this year where harana is no longer practiced and gradually dying, I am so happy I still get to listen to these wonderful songs thru this documentary. Salamat, Florante. Salamat, Haranistas 🥹
Exactly, I was thinking the same thing as I started watching this. Harana is very akin to the Mexican mariachi-ranchero music. And what's the common denominator? Being ex-Spanish colonies. So Spain left something beautiful after all, to her former colonies -- music being one of them.
@@mylesgarcia4625 Well I will say music is closer to the bolero, caribbean influence, and the Trío Romántico music in Mexico. The music wasn't so much "left" but there was a strong appropiation of instruments from people all over the colonies, then they created their own music.
Sir Florante Aguilar Your True Passion for Music will bridge the gap due almost for forgotten by new generations. Our long distinguished music, history and culture will bind us together once more. These also will teach the young genarations the value of respect and love for our elders and country.
I really appreciate your endeavor, Sir Florante, in documenting this cultural heritage.
Let’s hope that the art of harana will never be forgotten ❤️
Oh my God, my heart was crushed with emotions upon reading at the end that two of them passed away already. I know they're up there because they have sung their hearts out before passing. I hope this harana culture won't die out. You did a good job Florante..
This deserves a million views.
From the History of Harana to Rooting for the Genuine Friendship of these 3+1 Haranistas! the really had such wonderful chemistry. in the end you will realize how great this documentary is. ~ 25:55 my lolo at bulacan used to sing this to us we little shits (mga iho deputa!)(lolo's version of Awit ko'y dinggin by ruben tagalog is absolutely masterful no words! napaka genuine nang galing sa puso) lalu na kapa brownout or blackout. he will start singing this to my Lola sa tapat ng gasera. lalu na ung introductory part palang.. this brought tears to my eyes now that both of them are gone. maraming salamat po for sharing this wonderful piece of modern art. ~ RIP Lolo Celestino. and Lolo Felipe
As of today, the Philippine population is reportedly at 118 million. And yet, this movie had reached only less than half a million for three years. It makes me sad to think that this part of the culture may be vanishing, if not already. After all, this movie was said to be produced in 2012. Where does both the government and the Filipino music industry have focused their resources on?
Ay, grabe. Agree. How do I put it?
What could i say but Thank you Sir Florante you didn't just immortalized the lost art serenade of the Philippines But you also did made their life change by finding them searching for them to have their dreams come true. tears went down watching this documentary it is one that i could say Remarkable and Immaculate. i was a fan of serenades when i was young tho people call me weird but because of how i sang it but this documentary showed me the true magic of music and love and how Music can heal and revolutionize a person thank you for making this documentary Sir Florentino.
Absolutely incredible documentary, thank you for giving these men the recognition they deserve and bringing exposure to a beautiful part of Filipino culture. Mabuhay 🥲🇵🇭
Wow, this documentary is fantastic. It showcases the Philippines' most significant possessions- love and music. Your work to bring Harana back into the young people's awareness and fulfill the Haranista's dream of recording their music is admirable. I was born and raised in Cavite and now live in Los Angeles with my British American husband, who also serenaded me with an original song he composed during our wedding. We wish we had seen this group perform in Hollywood Bowl.
10:59 that bayan ko was so beautiful especially on the chorus part when the whole crowd joined in.. This is how magical music is to the filipino people. You deserve millions for this senyor.
Super ganda pala ang dokyu na ito. Kodus to Florante Aguilar.
Basta harana, my kurot sa puso. I will shift to harana from now on. Maraming salamat Florante.
This is the best documentary I have ever seen. Best music, best songs. Best cinematography! You are a gifted soul and your performance with these Harana Kings that you have searched for is an excellent form of art. Salamat..maraming salamat! Tunay akong napaluha sa galak dahil it truly brings back memories at para akong dinuduyan sa saliw ng awit at tugtog ng gitara na pang harana.❤ Bravo!👏 👏 👏
This is the first time I watched a documentary from start to end. The Haranistas are such a musical geniuses. When in Manila, I used to stay too at the La Eleganza in QC. The place where the three musicians stayed before they parted ways. Mabuhay ang mga musikerong Pinoy!
Wow, I really admire you sir you're a true artist. Grabe ang concept nito, i like all the arrangements of this documentary film. You're an amazing person i salute you.
This is an Excellent Documentary! My salute to you Maestro Florante Aguilar! You are a true Filipino Artist. You brought the Harana to the Filipino Masses and you are sincere in your profession. You should be the right person to spearhead and represent our country in Music and the Arts. I hope to meet you someday here in Washington DC, USA! YOU are a true Filipino Musician and artist with a heart! You are the best!
Because of this documentary of florante I’m inspired to create my grandparents love story into a movie animated or not. Thank you for letting me hear these magnificent songs that these men singed.
Love, love this! Thank you for producing this documentary and preserving the harana for future generations and giving these three old gentlemen the recognition, dignity and stature they deserve. Thank you Florante Aguilar and everyone involved in this endeavor! Kudos!
Golden aged of Filipino classic songs "HARANA" In such short time, they built an amazing friendship, its hard to see them say goodbye to each other 😢 that is such a legit friendship. I remember my lolo who loves harana and his cousin lolo tonio, he used to play harana every week in our local radio in cabanatuan, nueva ecija!
that will depends to today's generation if they are willing to continue this cultural tradition of courtship. If not the courtship serenade will be a complete history.
I love how the dad of the girl being courted turned out to be a fan of Mang Felipe. Thank you for making this documentary and preserving the memory of Harana.
Im glad that YT recommended your documentary My grandad is a haranista here in my hometown, Tarlac City. It was their main income back then. My grandad will always tell his haranista days to me with joy in his face. With his two brothers and father iikot sila sa buong bayan para mangharana and their payment was 2 pesos per client. Though it was regretful na hindi ko natutunan ang art ng harana it was still a privilege to see in person a legit haranista. And I’m proud that my lolo and lolo sa tuhod ay mga haranista. Now, i play the classical guitar with western music. Because of this documentary na encourage ako to play harana music. Thank you sir Florante for this documentary. I was taken aback memory lane.
I am a folk song enthusiast who idolized foreign artists, but when I came across your vlog and listened to your classic Filipino music, my my eyes hurt and blurred with tears I am not that sentimental guy but I don't understand why I was carried by the nostalgic sound of your instrumental rendition.
So many emotions felt when the 3 of them bid farewell to each other while teasing the oldest of the 3 to not cry. Chills! Thank you for this documentary sir. SALUTE TO ALL OF YOU FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE!
Kakaiba. Thanks Sir Florante for this very heartfelt and meaningful documentary! Makes me wanna delve into the world of Classical Filipino pieces again. More power!
I am 43 and love harana. I used to sing kundiman when I was in college and even won the university-wide singing competition. Hopefully, harana and kundiman should not only be heard on stage with paid tickets. Perhaps, soon this tradition will come back. Thanks Florante for producing this documentary.
Thank you for this Harana documentary. Thank you for the music and thank you for taking us back down memory lane... it brought tears to my eyes... life was so simple then and filled with so much love.

Jul 29 2023, I got to watch one of the best if not the best Documentary ever presented in pure fashion of our cultural heritage "Harana" I stayed awake till the whole show which ended at 3:07 in the morning of Jul 30. Thank you Mr. Florante Aguilar as well as all the people involved in the production of the forgotten practice akin only to the Filipino way of life of the past, I hope and pray that this Documentary will bring passion to the new generation and revive Harana as a fashion of courting.
God bless you always you at sa tatlong haranistas.
I've seen these a hundred times. It relaxes me. Inspiring. Kudos to Florante Aguilar. With this documentary alone, Florante you could be a National Artist. A real Maestro of Music. A Philippine treasure.
I'm really glad that there's still people who love this....And I wish there will be more young ones who will be interested and will keep this harana continues and not be forgotten.... .😍💖💗💕
Watching this makes me happy and at the same time sad. I wish this tradition would go on. Although I myself sing and play guitar a little, I couldn't replicate these styles, but when I play old songs to my wheelchair-bound father (stroke patient), his eyes light up and his hand dances to the music, sometimes I see tears in his eyes. Thank you for this wonderful documentary. Edit: I followed you on Spotify and FB. I hope their recordings are available in Spotify ❤️
"Edited after watching the the whole documentary" Thank you for bringing out an almost forgotten culture. My Dad serenaded my Mom back in the 40s. 12 children later and 58 years of marriage. Harana... the language of love and the lovers of by gone era. Just finished watching this. It is long but it is worth every minute of it. Savored and shared it with my husband that who is a musician of a different genre. He can't help but be in awe of the the guitar works. I told him that the Pinoys did not have the Rickenbacker guitars but sure produces the most amazing sounds. This documentary brings me back to my roots in the Philippines too. Thinking of the time when I helped my Dad with vegetable harvesting in the fields and I asked him to sing me Harana songs "a cappella". That always made my day. Bringing those memories back shared between a father and daugther. Tears rolling down as I enjoyed the presentation. And tears for the 2 gifted musicians that left with their gift of music. Thank you so very much.
I am a Filipina/American from Hawaii. Your Harana music and songs of the three Tata's brought childhood memories growing up on the sugar plantation in the 40's through the 50's. We were entertained with this beautiful music at weddings, baptismal, and birthday celebrations. My eyes teared when I recalled my late Aunt sang "Ikaw" as well as other songs. Thank you for your informative and interesting documentary. I am forever your "FAN."😀
Enjoyed your documentary so much…listening to those Harana music. Thank you!!!. I reflect on my youthful days when we’re used to hear those songs. It felt so nostalgic!!! Listening / watching from California!
May father is also a haranista. Sadly, he could no longer sing and play the guitar anymore after suffering from stroke. Your documentary brought happy tears on his eyes. Thank you for this marvelous work. God bless you always. ❤️
Salute to a quality documentary. This should remind our fellow Filipinos how rich our culture was way back then. I hope we can regain its old glory for our youth. By the way....the golden era is back for the chosen few- as expected. 🥴
Salamat Mr. F.Aguilar for this harana docu. Young ladies of today really missed the sweet feelings when someone serenades you. This is a beautiful tradition that should be revived.
Words can't describe how I've felt as I watched this documentary. The intended message really resonates within the viewer. I hope that one day this documentary will reach out to most younger generations and somehow inspire each Filipino individual to practice and compose harana songs of their own. Thank you so much, Florante Aguilar, and the people who made this documentary possible. Daghan kaayong salamat

I ALSO EXPERIENCED THE HARANA CULTURE DURING THE MID 70’s to EARLY 80’s BUT SAD TO SAY WE’RE SINGING ALL ENGLISH SONGS THAT MAKES ME FEEL GUILTY NOW WHILE WATCHING YOU GUY’s. GOOD LUCK FLORANTE SA IYONG PAG LALAKBAY KASAMA ANG IYONG NAPAKA GANDANG MUSICANG PILIPINO. HAVE A BLESSED LIFE FLORANTE “Shalom”

Harana songs are so pure and full of emotions and honesty.
I did shed a few tears on their "farewell" scene but at the same time, very happy for them kasi kitang kita mo talaga na napakaligaya nila.
What a way to spend the final years of their lives.

Thanks for sharing that!

Insightful comment.
Gypsy flamenco is it's extreme level with the latter indulging in its intense lamentation of oppression by the Spanish royalty.

Im old im 77 old..i recall everything...idi ubing...nagharanaak..ta ti na asawaak...harapan ang bahay...mula bata sabay kami papunta sa eskuela..hangat ngayon 3 kids...I LOVE HER BECUSE OF THIS HARANA...TKS TO YOU MR FLORANTE...
I listen to all kinds or music, from skrillex dubstep to mozart's classics, but nothing touches my soul and roots more then Harana songs. My uncle is also fond of this type of music and other rondalla songs. There is something just so beautiful about these songs, I hope we Filipinos learn how to appreciate and live this kind of music, our kind of music.
gnon pala dati syang hnd ko inabutan...Rest in Paradise po kay sir Tino and Mang Felipe 😢 salute ako sa inyo
This man who plays the guitar left hand without changing the strings is truly incredible. He’s truly talented! ❤
Those were the happy days you hear harana a beautiful Filipino culture Serenading an admired lady at night time.A culture gone.

Agree ❤
Love this thanks sir Florante❤
Sad, May they all rest in Peace.@@FloranteAguilarGuitar
The summit of nostalgia..so exhilaratingly heartwarming...❤❤❤❤
Never got tired of this. I so admire you Florante for finding these wonderful men who still remembered their “Harana” songs. You gave them life, truly brought them happiness. I can’t explain the love and emotions I feel when I watch the video. The way you found them and created this video is truly amazing! Your interaction with the people is such that they love you. Thank you again Florante. ❤

Documentary like this preserves cultural tradition. Thanks for this Florante.
Beautiful. Important. Necessary. As a filipino, thank you.
Bless you Florante!! You deserve your name... be a national artist Forante... make this happen for Filipino Music!
Charmaine Clamor is a friend and we continually collaborate over the years. Stay tuned for content featuring her in this channel!

BEST DOCUMENTARY FOR ME AS A GEN Z NA MINSAN NAG IISIP KUNG WHAT IF UNTIL NOW HARANA PADIN ANG WAY OF COURTING .APAKA GANDA SIGURO KUNG GANON MAN
PS.BEST DOCUMENTARY THANK YOU MISTER
Two of them may be gone now, but their legacies will always be remembered. Thank you for sharing their stories and talents, big respect.
Unfortunately, Master Haranista Romeo Bergunio passed away in 2021.
Beautiful! Wish there was a Spanish subtitles version to share with people in México! Edit: We play instruments called "jarana"
And that's where we got the term "Harana"
@@mylesgarcia4625 Harana is also very akin to "Fado" of Lisbon, Portugal
Sir Florante Aguilar Your True Passion for Music will bridge the gap due almost for forgotten by new generations. Our long distinguished music, history and culture will bind us together once more. These also will teach the young genarations the value of respect and love for our elders and country.
I really appreciate your endeavor, Sir Florante, in documenting this cultural heritage.
Florante, youre a modern day hero.
Let’s hope that the art of harana will never be forgotten ❤️
Oh my God, my heart was crushed with emotions upon reading at the end that two of them passed away already. I know they're up there because they have sung their hearts out before passing. I hope this harana culture won't die out. You did a good job Florante..
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 PAALAM at MARAMING SALAMAT!!!!
Sadly, recently, Mang Romy passed away in 2021 according to sir Florente.
This deserves a million views.
Work like this is so important. WOW. Truly remarkable and inspiring. Love our people.
From the History of Harana to Rooting for the Genuine Friendship of these 3+1 Haranistas! the really had such wonderful chemistry. in the end you will realize how great this documentary is.

25:55 my lolo at bulacan used to sing this to us we little shits (mga iho deputa!)(lolo's version of Awit ko'y dinggin by ruben tagalog is absolutely masterful no words! napaka genuine nang galing sa puso) lalu na kapa brownout or blackout. he will start singing this to my Lola sa tapat ng gasera. lalu na ung introductory part palang.. this brought tears to my eyes now that both of them are gone. maraming salamat po for sharing this wonderful piece of modern art.

RIP Lolo Celestino. and Lolo Felipe
Thank you for sharing your Lolo's and Lola's story.
Nice documentary on a part of our culture that slowly faded because of modern technology.
As of today, the Philippine population is reportedly at 118 million. And yet, this movie had reached only less than half a million for three years. It makes me sad to think that this part of the culture may be vanishing, if not already. After all, this movie was said to be produced in 2012. Where does both the government and the Filipino music industry have focused their resources on?
very sad
Mang Tino has the voice which we can rarely hear these days.
How do I put it?
What could i say but Thank you Sir Florante you didn't just immortalized the lost art serenade of the Philippines
But you also did made their life change by finding them searching for them to have their dreams come true.
tears went down watching this documentary it is one that i could say Remarkable and Immaculate.
i was a fan of serenades when i was young tho people call me weird but because of how i sang it
but this documentary showed me the true magic of music and love and how Music can heal and revolutionize a person
thank you for making this documentary Sir Florentino.
Absolutely incredible documentary, thank you for giving these men the recognition they deserve and bringing exposure to a beautiful part of Filipino culture. Mabuhay 🥲🇵🇭
Glad you enjoyed it!
tila bumalik ang nakaraan akoy nakaranas din sa aming probinsya nito harana is the best.
Thank you for sharing!
so inspiring in this digital era.
very comforting sounds
10:59 that bayan ko was so beautiful especially on the chorus part when the whole crowd joined in.. This is how magical music is to the filipino people. You deserve millions for this senyor.
Thank you! Credit goes to the whole Harana team!
Super ganda pala ang dokyu na ito. Kodus to Florante Aguilar.
Basta harana, my kurot sa puso. I will shift to harana from now on. Maraming salamat Florante.
ALL THE BEST KABAYAN,. GOD BLESS
This is the best documentary I have ever seen. Best music, best songs. Best cinematography! You are a gifted soul and your performance with these Harana Kings that you have searched for is an excellent form of art. Salamat..maraming salamat! Tunay akong napaluha sa galak dahil it truly brings back memories at para akong dinuduyan sa saliw ng awit at tugtog ng gitara na pang harana.❤
Bravo!👏 👏 👏
Maraming salamat po! :)
This is the first time I watched a documentary from start to end. The Haranistas are such a musical geniuses. When in Manila, I used to stay too at the La Eleganza in QC. The place where the three musicians stayed before they parted ways. Mabuhay ang mga musikerong Pinoy!
Galing namn sana meron parin ganyan ngaun
Wow, I really admire you sir you're a true artist. Grabe ang concept nito, i like all the arrangements of this documentary film. You're an amazing person i salute you.
This is an Excellent Documentary! My salute to you Maestro Florante Aguilar! You are a true Filipino Artist. You brought the Harana to the Filipino Masses and you are sincere in your profession. You should be the right person to spearhead and represent our country in Music and the Arts. I hope to meet you someday here in Washington DC, USA! YOU are a true Filipino Musician and artist with a heart! You are the best!
Maraming salamat po! :)
Because of this documentary of florante I’m inspired to create my grandparents love story into a movie animated or not. Thank you for letting me hear these magnificent songs that these men singed.
Thank you and I’m glad it inspired you! 😀
Very memorable!
Love, love this! Thank you for producing this documentary and preserving the harana for future generations and giving these three old gentlemen the recognition, dignity and stature they deserve. Thank you Florante Aguilar and everyone involved in this endeavor! Kudos!
Thank you for kindling again the cultural history of this type of old harana music! It's matchless and can't be imitated!
Golden aged of Filipino classic songs "HARANA"
In such short time, they built an amazing friendship, its hard to see them say goodbye to each other 😢 that is such a legit friendship.
I remember my lolo who loves harana and his cousin lolo tonio, he used to play harana every week in our local radio in cabanatuan, nueva ecija!
Ganda po, naiyak ako
After watching this documentary, I am truly amazed. Preserving this tradition is of utmost importance, and I sincerely hope we can achieve that.
I really loved this documentary. Preserving the songs (Kundiman), and they always sang with emotions.
that will depends to today's generation if they are willing to continue this cultural tradition of courtship. If not the courtship serenade will be a complete history.
Actually, the movie came out 2012
I love how the dad of the girl being courted turned out to be a fan of Mang Felipe.
Thank you for making this documentary and preserving the memory of Harana.
Im glad that YT recommended your documentary
My grandad is a haranista here in my hometown, Tarlac City.
Salamat po! Glad to hear it inspired you ❤️♥️ and thank you for sharing your the bit about your grandad!
More power!
The bond that those three formed was so heartwarming to see.
I am 43 and love harana. I used to sing kundiman when I was in college and even won the university-wide singing competition. Hopefully, harana and kundiman should not only be heard on stage with paid tickets. Perhaps, soon this tradition will come back. Thanks Florante for producing this documentary.
Salamat din :)
Salamat po Sir dito sa Napakagandang Video... 🥰🥰🥰

Again a million thanks. I am sure you touched a zillion hearts who got to watch the Documentary. Mabuhay and may God bless you
Harana with its history should be incorporated in our music curriculum taught in our schools...
God bless you always you at sa tatlong haranistas.
I've seen these a hundred times. It relaxes me. Inspiring. Kudos to Florante Aguilar. With this documentary alone, Florante you could be a National Artist. A real Maestro of Music. A Philippine treasure.
Thank you for watching !
Kinagat Ang labi 😂😂😂 I love this docu, cried some 💛💛
I'm really glad that there's still people who love this....And I wish there will be more young ones who will be interested and will keep this harana continues and not be forgotten.... .😍💖💗💕
I swear i never cried this much on a documentary.
One of the BEST pure Pinoy documentary video ever!
Ang galing ni kuya👏👏👏🥰🇵🇭
Watching this makes me happy and at the same time sad. I wish this tradition would go on. Although I myself sing and play guitar a little, I couldn't replicate these styles, but when I play old songs to my wheelchair-bound father (stroke patient), his eyes light up and his hand dances to the music, sometimes I see tears in his eyes. Thank you for this wonderful documentary.
Edit: I followed you on Spotify and FB. I hope their recordings are available in Spotify ❤️
"Edited after watching the the whole documentary"
Thank you for bringing out an almost forgotten culture.
Napakagandang kwento at pagtatanghal ng musika at kulturang Pilipino. Salamat, Florante.
Proud Caviteno! Mabuhay ka Ka Tino@25:06.
Thank you for watching! 🙏
Salamat!
@@FloranteAguilarGuitar salamat Mr. Florante Aguilar for this unforgettable docu on harana..evoked pleasant memories of my youth.
Salamat Mr. F.Aguilar for this harana docu. Young ladies of today really missed the sweet feelings when someone serenades you. This is a beautiful tradition that should be revived.
A very beautiful documentary. ❤❤❤
Credit to the team. Thank you for watching! :)

I WAS BORN ON THE EARLY 60’s THAT’S WHY I CAN STILL RELATE SOME OF THE SONGS THAT THE HARANISTAS ARE SINGING.
I ALSO EXPERIENCED THE HARANA CULTURE DURING THE MID 70’s to EARLY 80’s BUT SAD TO SAY WE’RE SINGING ALL ENGLISH SONGS THAT MAKES ME FEEL GUILTY NOW WHILE WATCHING YOU GUY’s.
