Great discussions and insights, I am preparing for Marines OCS and this info is very helpful.
Did you get in?
Thank you for this I have been watching a lot of your videos over the past 5 or 6 months. I'm headed to MARSOC A&S on Tuesday these videos helped me prepare and get the right mind set for getting "To" the training and hopefully I can get "through" it.
Also for A&S we do a 300m swim in cammies with no boots and ruck 12 miles with 45lbs in under 3 hours
Nice! Good luck and enjoy the journey.
Yeah man good luck
How did it go?
So how did it go?
There is a test in the fleet marine corps for all marines to gain advanced swim qual during their basic annual swim qual that is full cammies and boots. Its 500 meters. It’s sucks balls. No freestyle is allowed I believe, only breast stroke, a side stroke or on your back is allowed.
I did intermediate with 250 meters and that was hell on its own, I’d have to mentally prepare for 500
I think Jeff becomes more beard every time I see him
Stew are you and Jeff going to cover SFAS or RASP sense both are similar?
Sure
