hi..first time i heard this was in about 1978, walked into a pub when a lass had just won it in a raffle, she held it up and said who wants it, i shot my hand up, shouted here i'l have it, she threw it at me, when we listened to it and we decided it sounded so very like northern soul, called a mate who was like a dictionary of northern soul and asked him about it, he told us not so many was made so to hang on to it, when i told her she asked for it back..i hung on to it and still have it......
This must be older than 1977!! Might be a copy or something. Its definitely a 60s sound and I'm sure I was dancing to this early 70s. Anyway - cheers for the memory. Wigan Casino - Burnley Cats Whiskers.

@@thesoultwins72 Just Google "Northern Soul Pattaya" ...Pattaya Soul Club have Soul Nights every 3 Months,,,Natalie's Soul Bar on Soi Diana was the place to go for a Daily fix of Northern,,Scooter Bar & the Marquee bar on Soi Buakhao play a lot of Northern..The last one I attended was Hemmingways,,coincidentally,was in Jomtien,in 2019..Just before the Virus hit....The weekender was a 3 night event just off Walking Street..2012...Couldn't walk right for a week as the legs weren't used to dancing that much..

[although my wife and I actually met with Barry Willmore and his wife - they came to our house for a drink. Not sure if you know or have heard of Barry, but he was a 'big name' on the scene at the very beginning. In fact, he used to DJ at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich - which was a really important venue in the early 1970's. I think Barry presents a NS radio show in Pattaya for one of the local stations. Unfortunately, I never caught it but I occasionally listened to this lady who presented a Soul music show, which was quite good. [I can't remember the lady's name but I think her show was every Saturday night?] My wife and I regularly went to Soi Bukao, but our 'interests' were slightly different if you know what I mean! We are swingers and had a wild time in Pattaya and got up to some crazy things. So to be honest, our priorities were not on NS! We went to the 'Castle' bar in Walking street a few times, the 'Dungeon' on 3rd road and 'Rama Kein' on Thrappaya Hill - but those most definitely aren't Soul clubs! yes brill northern track ...1977 issue but actually recorded 11 years before ..EPIC label 1966
LP track only , never released as a single, and the title was different, so I believe .
