Sir today I got actual clearity of my doubt..thanku very much ..I was surfing from 3 months for this doubt ..but can't get proper explaination anywhere
My school is offering the courses of network and system admin the problem is I can choose only one of the courses. I want to be proficient in both network and system administration. Which should I choose which would expose me to both fields. Should I choose netwrok admin course or sys admin. Also which course if persued can get me job in any of the fields. For example if I study sys admin can I still apply for a network job later. Or would have to do networking for that?
It all depends on what you're passionate about, if you like configuring switches, routers, firewalls then network admin would be your choice, if you like configuring servers, virtual machines, active directory then sys admin would be the way to go. For me personally I learned network admin and then years later sys admin, now I'm in cybersecurity.
I can do both and really like both, but I would lean more to the networking side. My current job title is Network Specialist but also deal with some system administration as well.
Can guarantee you no matter which one you’re going to focus on you’re going to need to know both fields because of their close relation, and because of the increasing prevalence of virtualization, principally with VMware, but not only that. You still should know how to plug a console cable into a switch and manually configure it. Sometimes you’re simply going to have to do that.
Sir I learn aws cloud computing course but as fresher no jobs. all companies asking 2+ exp candidates only, now I am looking to system administrator course, little bit cloud and system administrator both are same are different.?
is it true to say system administrators get payed on average as much as network admins but they dont have to listen to the loud sounds in the technical rooms ?
Working in cybersecurity requires you to have some basic knowledge of network and system administration, also combined with knowledge of linux, python and cybersecurity methodologies
@@JoshuasTechTips hey man thank you your reply I dont really know what to choose between the two im offered a technical helpdesk with high salary and the other is network admin with low salary which do you think I should go with?

With the current COVID-19 pandemic a lot of IT remote jobs are available, software development and cloud computing seems to be the most popular. I would recommend certs pertaining to AWS or Azure would definitely great to have.
A lot of young sys admins can’t manually configure a switch if need be. It’s a problem. They should know. Scripts don’t always run. GUIs don’t always work.
Both jobs actually incorporate physical and logical elements, however the equipment they administer are different. Network admins deal more with switches, routers, firewalls, Access Points etc. System admins deal more with Servers, SAN's etc.

It depends on the enviroment yoi'd be working in. Security +, CCNA, AWS associated, Azure fundementals are some good ones to start with.
Very Informative!
I'm only interested in Networks for Software Engineering. Advice?
Who deals with overhead paging systems?
It depends on the organization but for IP based paging systems this would more likely fall under network administrators

Looking to go into the IT field. Should I take my A+ before taking the CCNA exams?
Yes I would suggest doing A+ as well as Net+ to learn some of the basic computer and networking concepts before doing CCNA.
Thanks for your advice
sir does network admin or system admin requires coding and dsa ?
Some network admin positions due as they use python to automate deployments, so it's a good skill to learn

Does this entail a lot of Mathematics?.. secondly, is this a hard course?
I won't say alot but defintely if you're looking at the networking field, you need to have adequate math skills, since you'll be doing subnetting.
