I couldn't find any videos of replacing brake pads on the Yamaha Super Tenere on youtube so I decided to make one. I am not a mechanic so watch at your own risk lol. Extremely easy to do total time about 20 minutes only because I was filming.

Real useful , thanks from the Scottish Highlands.
Thank you for watching. Scotland is on my radar ! 👍💪🏼
I watched your front pad check as well. Who needs fancy video? just a easy way of doing this job on my bike. These look as easy as my dirt bikes. Thank you Sir.

Great job. Was going to change the rear pads on my 2013 Teneree for the first time. Dealer gave me the exact same pads. Your video was all I needed to get started. Thanks,
Rick Jackson thanks Rick. I appreciate you commenting and hope you are subscribed. Bunch of Tenere vids on my channel. Good luck with the install buddy. 🍻
Florida Outdoor Adventures ...They are a fun bike.
Just finally got the same pads in for my '19 Ténéré and am going to install them today. I have a little over 25,000 miles on my bike and there is almost no pad left on the rear. Thanks for the video! Also the torque spec. for those 12mm caliper bolts is 27Nm (20 ft.lbs.) with caliper grease on them.
Just bought 2013 S10 with 18k miles and needs front and rears. Thanks for doing this! Made it look easy!
Johnny M thanks so much johnny. The rears waste faster than the fronts. So keep an eye out. Hope you subscribed to my channel.
Thanks for the vid. Looks pretty straightforward. Needed to see this done before I do my own. Nothing else out there that demonstrates the rear brake. Thanks!
+David Cathey Thanks so much David!
Thanks for the video. A Tenere owner and a Wrangler owner. Makes two of us!!
+bakichmg Your cool points just tripled lol
Thanks for the video - have a '12 S10 (Blue) with 14k miles - going on 600 mi trip in a couple days - needed this info... appreciate your efforts!!
Frank N No problem, hope this helped and subscribe if you want... Thanks for the nice comment.
Nice job. I’m going to get you a torque wrench for Christmas.

I need new pads too. the video makes it very easy, thanks.
Jeff S thanks Jeff. Hope you are subscribed 🍻
Good video...15K on a '13 S10, hoping i have some pad left on the rear. Just received the EBC pads today, tempted to replace all of them regardless, I hear the EBC Sintered pads have much better stopping power.
+Bob Fisher Change em all its pretty easy to do, Thanks for watching and the nice comment!
I recommend to work the piston(s) in and out a few times while at it, and eject some brake fluid after installing the caliper, before potential dirt and rust builds up
Looked good. At 30,000 miles (2012 ST) I better get out there and change 'em. Thanks.
No prob. Yeah change them out.
Hi!! thanks for the video, pretty much easy. This weekend I am going to change too! Thanks! By the way I'm from PORTUGAL!!!! :)
Hi Bruno, I'll be riding thru Portugal this month and July.
Thanks for the video. There is not enough Tenere maintenance videos. Did your rotors wear evenly? Mine are grooving.
They looked ok to me Eron Iler , thanks for checking it out!
Quick question. I live in Florida, where did you get your brake pads?
Thank you! Love the tires! Make?
