Bring back the actual dollar menu 🗣️
No kidding
@@walterwhite1waltuh put your dollar away waltuh I'm not giving you a burger for a dollar waltuh
McDonald's used to be cheap mid food. An establishment that let you stretch your money in a pinch. Now it's mid expensive food not worth the trip.
@@WavyJayZ
Ya, it's called minimum wage and wage hikes
You want more money, they want more money .....
This ain't the 90s bro
I wish they would do international items and bring them stateside. Japan has some awesome items that should be examined for a U.S. market appearance. Particularly the McTeriaki Chicken sandwich.
Thing is most items won't stick around, they are purely novelty. Like shaker fries, most Americans too lazy to do that. Also the tastes of Japan might appeal to some Japanese enthusiast but most people find something like a squid burger weird af. They tried a international menu a little while back and imo it was good, but nothing stayed.
@@Drownedinblood a teriyaki burger is a far cry from a squid Burger. Obviously a squid Burger would not take in America.
@@gregengel1616 you'd be surprised at how many people find teriyaki weird or pure novelty even on the supposedly cosmopolitan coasts.
Ya absolutely!
Japan had human meat in their McDonald’s
Im just happy that the Hamburglar is coming back
I like Grimmace. Purple bias.
Same it came back
I wish the hamburgalar from 2015 McDonald's ads came back. The real life human in the hamburgalar costume. Not the puppet
Where's Officer Big Mac? No where I bet cuz Hamburglar is always out on the streets since DA Salad Wrap doesn't prosecute and wants to defund the police.
I wish they would bring Ronald McDonald back. There was no sense in getting rid of a mascot whose been admired for over 50 years.
They will be EXACTLY the same but more expensive 😂😂😂.
And it’s already gotten stupid expensive. McDonald’s prices have doubled in the last few years and their product is no different, cheaper to go buy real food
@@V8chump
More expensive but much smaller. I remember as a kid the Big'Mac really looked big. Now one could honestly mistake it for a cheap burger from how smaller they've gotten
@@V8chump Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise
McDonald's junk food becoming too expensive and forcing people to buy fresh and healthy food? Sounds good
It’s still the same price in Ontario Canada $13.20 (11.69 plus 13% Tax)
Lol yup
I think it's the size. I swear their burgers, especially the Big Macs, were bigger back in the day. Bring back the original sizes
Yes but it was an illusion, the only thing that was bigger back then was the bun. Everything else, patty included, never changed size
Spoiler: You got much more huge, the burgers have not shrunk at all.
@@efhjjfdth ☠️☠️☠️
Yeah I remember as a child I can even hold a BIG Mc in my hands without spilling the contents of the burger and can only eat them if I slice them to smaller pieces. Now at 40 I can easily hold them with one hand and consume them with just a few bites.
@@raymondlevy1255 no you're wrong. My mom showed me a picture of her eating a big mac as a little girl. The patties in the big mac were the same patties they use in the quarter pounders. Now they just give you the same small patties that they use in a mcdouble
I always order a Big Mac, then load it up inside with French fries instead of the middle bun, and it's DELICIOUS.
Manny definitely typed this. We all know Nick would put some wagyu on it.
Lol ok
Oh shit
Maybe that can just stop raising the prices 300% on their value items.
get a job?
@ knuclesr200x26 I heard McDonald's is hiring if you want to get a job & a clue. Bc you literally don't have a job or a clue bc if you did you'd be pissed about the prices going up too.
@@knuclear200x
Know your facts. Even with a job who wants to pay close to $20 for food made of cheap ingredients sold at an absurd price. You might as well buy some burger patties from a store, buns and condiments and avoid McDonald's altogether. Because everyone know restaurants these days are ripping people off while serving customers smaller portions.

Well the US is catering more criminals now 😂 perfect timing
That’s the only reason I clicked on the video 😅

I’m not scared to leave the country and move somewhere else in the world thinking oh the US is the only place ever that’s great.
I had a wendys basic cheeseburger for the first time since I don't ever eat burgers from fast food places and it was delicious. The bread was soft and buttery and the patty was HUGE, even spilling out the sides of the bun. It was really good and I'll probably go back another time
Wendys honestly has some amazing fast food. Not sure how healthy it is comparatively to any other place but hey it tastes awesome.
@@xSharpW ya'll must have been this low kid in class. Wendy's basic cheeseburger, the Patty is tiny. Now the stacker is better.
I discovered Wendys burgers a few months ago and they by far have the best fast food burger. Their double bourbon bacon burger is amazing.
@@xSharpW their chicken tastes bland BUT they don’t add exaggerated amount of mayo on it 😅

If it’s not broke don’t fix it especially with McDonald’s being so successful. It’s strange that fast food companies can’t focus on what they do best keeping things simple instead of trying to change up to compete with non direct competitors.
There must be a dip in sales for these items if they're putting money into revamping it. I don't think they'd do this just for fun.
@@neighborbruce There's def been a dip, Wendys gets way more attention than the mcdonalds in my town. Besides the price mcdonalds has kind of fallen behind.
Maybe businesses like McDonald's make estimates and or "predictions" and act accordingly. For example, if a business sees that in a few months or in a year, a product or service will do better or worse than how it is doing in the present, they might start making changes.
Remember when they changed the formula of Coke thinking it was a good idea and it went horribly wrong and then they had to go back to Coke Classic?

@ValiantPixel YOU are missing out because the quality has improved. Biggest change was switching to fresh-never-frozen meat on the quarter pounders. Instead of precooking the meat, then warming it, the patties are cooked when you order them. Much juicier.
The grilled onions are also better tasting than the raw onions.
just make the patties bigger and itd be fine
Just lower the prices and watch customers flood their restaurants

Order custom. The 1/4 pounder patties on the big mac are the bomb. Sub the thin patties out.
The Big Mac just can't compete with the Big King from Burger King. McDonald's is lucky it has the best fries because Burger King beats most of its other products.
Lowering the price would be their actual help out

hopefully they dont mess it up. They need to know their audience: it is cheap and has tasted the same for ever since we were kids, that's why people keep coming back.
Yeah they already messed up the quarter pound patties when they changed them about 5 years ago. They aren’t cheap anymore though either
Is this revamp going to be as successful as the New Coke revamp? You know, when Coke performed blind taste tests and discovered that most people preferred the taste of Pepsi over Coke, so they panicked and created a new Coke recipe? Then everyone complained and they brought the old Coke back as Coca-Cola Classic?
Bring healthy back. Salads. Grilled Chicken.
Fact is McDonalds spent more money for a case of Hamburgers back in the '70s and '80s than they do today...Scary!!!
All I want them to do is bring back Mac Tonight, PROPERLY ‼
...as if inflation was not a factor in the "revamping". Use lower cost ingredients to "remake" some classics, sell it as if it's "new and improved", hope the masses don't notice the change/are too unaware to see the difference, and keep profits up. Its the same game that's been played for generations but most especially in the last few months. Shrinkflation, deflation, downsizing, it's all the same thing in a bad economy.
So those of us who are allergic to onions are now going just for the fries??
Prob just a new menu item they'll test, then remove once sales are low. Not that uncommon. Remember the sweet chili thai crispy chicken wraps?
yup im allergic as well.
They're just adding the onions while the burger is still on the grill, so you can just order it without onions. The cross contamination will be no worse than it is now.
@@sasukeuchiha998bro the snack wraps were the best item ever sold at McDonald’s, that and the grilled onion cheddar burger

It doesn't matter how many add-ons they give us. If they're still not willing to lower the prices of their food. I use to eat McDonald's so much as a kid but stopped during my mid teens when the price for a Big'Mac meal skyrocketed. Now I don't care if you add bacon to a Big'Mac,if it cost more then $8 for a burger alone. It ain't worth the trouble imo

No need for a burger makeover, just go to a good McDonald's restaurant with great customer service.
They need to bring back the fried pies to the US. (Well besides Hawaii who never lost them)
So will they offer regular patties still or only the ones with onions cooked into them?
If they do not offer regular burgers with no onions,I will no longer eat at McDonalds.I have digestive issues, cannot tolerate onions .
They're just adding onions while the burger is still on the grill, so the onions will get a bit caramelized and taste better. You'd still be able to order without onions -- just like now, they just wouldn't add them.

They lose business because of one problem and try to fix it with another. I can't think of a better way to lose more business than to mess with your burger. Their problem is with their service at the front counter, not their burger.
I wish they would bring back the 1$ McDouble.
I wish they would bring back the $1 double cheeseburger. Better yet change their quarter pound patties back to what they were 6 years ago and make the quarter pounder with cheese meal $2.99 like it was in the early 90’s.
They’re never coming back. It’s as extinct as the 60¢ cheeseburger.
they started doing this in Canada a few years ago
Hopefully they remember the blunder that was NewCoke.
I doubt they will remember, they didn’t remember when they changed their quarter pound patties 5 years ago. I used to love quarter pounders, but I can’t eat them anymore because they’re dry and disgusting and have been for the last 5 years.
Personally I've always liked the single cheeseburger, no pickles, extra ketchup. Ordering it custom like that usually means a fresh patty too, so i rarely get a bad burger. My local spot has them at 1.59 each, but other spots at $2+.
Interesting enough, Dave Chang, the famous chef with multiple netflix shows, also is a huge fan of the classic cheeseburger (from recent podcast with Bill Simmons at Augusta), so it's nice to have some support. 😅
I can get the McDouble 2 for $3.00 in my area but a double cheeseburger is still over $2.00. The difference is that the double has two slices of cheese while the McDouble only has one. I can live with one slice in order to get two burgers instead of one at a reasonable price.
@dacrib5350 DAVID Chang is purely a celebrity chef (like Guy Fieri). His actual restaurants have won zero awards from Michelin, AAA, or Forbes dining guides. That’s because his food isn’t great (like Guy Fieri’s food)
.
@kev7161 SEARCH your app to see if any McDonald’s have the Daily double. It’s like the McDouble but replaces the ketchup with real tomatoes & diced onions with onion slices. Yuummm. I use a BOGO coupon, so each Daily Double is $1.10 each.

A Big Mac combo meal was *$5.99 four years ago, and now it's $12.99,* and that combo comes with Medium fries and a Medium drink not large. That "Fresh To Order" publicity stunt lasted about four month, before they went back to their old lazy/cheap ways.

I heard they've been testing the new recipes first in California. I did go to a McDonald's in Northridge yesterday. I ordered a Big Mac. That location hasn't got the memo. It tasted the same to me. The McD's I went to is at Lassen and Balboa. Right across the street is an In-N-Out. There was a line of cars there. Less of a line at McDonald's, but still busy. Whatever the place, Californians want their burgers done right.
I live right across the street from an INO. Been eating there for over 30 years. But also grew up on McDonalds. These days, McDonalds meals cost more than INO and honestly, it’s less filling. A Big Mac is mostly bread and like 2oz of meat.

On the other hand I have been trying to get my daughter to stop wanting to go to McDonalds, and if you cook onions into the meat that will definitely keep her away.
The happy meal hamburgers are dry too! I like them plain every once in awhile (I used to be super picky 20 years ago and it was the only way I’d eat a burger lol) and they used to be so good but I tried recently a couple times and it was so dry I couldn’t hardly even swallow it! The last happy meal hamburger I had was weirdly minty? It tasted like either the dentist and was hard and inedible. I wanted to collect some masked singer toys but it turned me off so bad I haven’t been back. The fries were extra good though? Almost as good as early 2000s fries from there. 🙄 They’re basically making the cheeseburgers taste the way they would if someone actually made them at home. You know… doing their OWN cooking. This means- a softer bun and cheese placed on the burger before it’s taken off the grill. Also- McDonalds fries have changed significantly in taste.
