In my years the “popular” kids weren’t the stereotypical popular people. Honestly they were all nice people and would even hang out with “average” people like me and my friends. Most were in theatre. Wonder what they’re doing now. Even the “cool and popular” kids from high grades were nice to everyone.
when i was in high school i was on the baseball team this is important for later. when 9/11 happened this american arabic girl who happened to be muslim got shunned by the popular kid causing everyone to not sit with her at luicn. well one day me and 4 other baseball players who shared lunch togerther got up and walked over and sat down at her table. I told her that no one deserved to sit alone. And two of us would escort her to classes. The pipular kid tried insulting her and pissing off us which got his ass kicked by the rest of the baseball team in the locker room. no one hung out with after that and the girl, she became one of our freinds for life. I felt sad when we went different ways in life. To this day i hope she knows i never forgot her.
If you dare bully people or God forbid make fun of disabled people or pretend to be disabled or whatever you deserve to never be talk to you ever again
At my school, there were the “popular” people and the popular people. The “popular” people were everyone you expected. Athletes, kids of local politicians, kids of school staff, etc. Everyone could tell the “popular” kids desperately wanted to be the actual popular kids. The popular kids were just…nice people. My older sis was one of them. She was in a lot of clubs, genuinely nice and helpful to everyone, had friends in basically every cliche/group. When someone was bullying me, my sister legit talked with some of the football guys and they pulled the “hey bro that’s not cool quit it” and it stopped. And no, it wasn’t cus she was dating. She didn’t date in high school. She was just one of the genuinely popular people that people liked.
@@etcetera1995 omg yes!! oh you silly little goose🙈 the narrator didn't mention anything about it (compared to all the little comments he added to other non-serious answers) so I decided to comment on it love☺️
Story 9, no. You can't end the story at the best part. Her brother admitted he made it up? Wtf happened after? Did he become an outcast and people apologize to his sister? Why did he do it? Op sucks at telling stories.
why the hell are preschool kids (kids 5 years of age and younger) worrying about popularity status, and why are middle school kids (kids aged 11 to 14 years old) talking about and experiencing drinking and sex?! was I just that sheltered/brought up right or has the world gone that mad in the years since my own formative stage ended?
In my high-school days a very beloved teachers daughter had cancer and passed away, forgot how old she was but she wasn't older than 12. They setup. They setup a foundation or something in her name, and he was telling his students about it. One of the "popular kids" of our grade went up to him and said straight to his face that " no one cares that your daughter had cancer" i never saw him after that. Likely moved schools or went to finish online
9:20 The peanut butter story. We had a similar incident at out school. A girl send n*des that got leaked about sexual acts involving a small dog and peanut butter (this was 8th grade) and people started yelling “FREE TOBY” toby was the dogs name
Hey undersparked, story 17 kind of happened in my junior high a week ago. (I'm in 7th grade) A kid named Owen C. shot himself about a week ago because 1. His girlfriend had broke up with him 2. Her and several other people were telling him to do it. 3. He had depression and hid it as good as he can, and even was an 8th grade football player! After this happened, people instantly talked about him. We were supposed to wear red the next day. (His favorite color). Every poster in every hallway read LLOC or, Long Live Owen Capriola.
At my school I had no clue who was popular or unpopular. I just went to class, chatted with my friends, and occasionally went to an event. I have no clue where I'd even catch wind of drama. Like, all these tropes just didn't exist in my school experience. I had acquaintances say hi to me, I had some teachers that liked me, and I never had any enemies except for two nasty girls in middle school I scolded for mocking a friend of mine. They tried to make fun of me in math class by loudly whispering about me, but I just made expectant eye contact until they stopped. And then I told on both of them for cheating. Dunno if they spread rumors or anything, but if they did then it made zero impact.
I was fairly popular in school, though it faded as I reached highshool, since my mental health tanked due to several reasons. I started becoming known as the quiet weird girl, and then when I finally started recovering and realized I was a lesbian, that set me back farther than being weird ever did. Suddenly most of the school, including several teachers, hated me and wanted me expelled.
In my school the popular kids are normally popular for the entire time at the school until the rest of the school is replaced with younger years it’s mixed either bully’s or the nicest people never thought I was popular because the only popular kids were bullying me in my first year turns out I was popular because of how kind(not when I was edgy online but no one knew me online I’m NOT edgy online anymore) and for some because of how sad my life sounds
Most of the popular kids at the school district I went to from middle school till high school graduation were either always pretty chill or chilled out by high school. Sure, there were a few that tried to flex their status, but most were relatively humble. I don't have any idea where I stood on the ladder, though I wouldn't be surprised if I was somewhere in the middle. Never cared too much, though, as I kept to myself most of the time. Elementary school was a different story and a different school district. I was definitely more of a target for bullying back then, but it was never all that wild. Just calling me gay or ugly or making fun of my autism. Most of the popular kids were absolutely jerks, if my memory serves me right. None of those things had anything to do with why I moved to the place I went to school from 6th to 12th grades, though.
I was in the middle in terms of popularity. I was a track star, but I was also very nice, almost to a fault. All it took for me to lose that popularity was a move. Yep.
Story 28 oof this is why you never ever talk to the popular gays! I'm a gaybo myself and am in no way popular as I keep to myself and my small group of friends I made the fatal mistake of befriending a popular gay guy back in the 6th grade and he'd make fun of me behind my back, spread rumors about me that I slept with some girl and that I was 'lesbian in denial' (I'm a trans man and I don't even like girls nor did I even know who said girl was), he invited me to his birthday party just so that I would have to see my ex whom he also invited for drama. Overall just a strange guy that I'm glad I ditched him in 7th because holy toledo was that guy certainly a life lesson! Weird gay kids never befriend popular/mean gays no matter how "nice" they are to you 🙏
When I was in HS a popular boy, which just meant he played a sport and was good at it, began bothering a chubby quiet girl. Ended up admitting he thought chubby girls would be easy to get with. Wasn't long before he got kicked in the balls when he groped her when they were alone. His popularity ended there because no one really trusted him afterward. He disappeared after junior year after that.
I don't think my schools had cliques or anything, I remember being bullied a lot and it still affects me, but yeah tbh popular and unpopular wasn't a big thing. I was just the weird girl with trash social skills and undiagnosed adhd. That's my story lol.
Story 48 is LITERALLY the fucking scene in the movie Can’t Hardly Wait when Jennifer Love Hewitt refuses to take the quarterback back. I started screaming laughing when they the name of the movie in their post 😂😂😂♥️
I'm sorry in the secnd story they strip searched kids for some missing money... Okay. Yeah like it's a bad look for the girl who ended up leaving the money at home by accident, but oh my goodness they strip searched young kids for 90 dollars?! I'm sorry for focusing on this, but that is horrifying. I've been to sucky schools that I imagine would do this, but it astounds me that out of everyone the one girl who made a mistake was punished and not the school who did that to kids.

so in middle school i was the freak of the group but as I got older it became less and less till my senior year when everyone around me was either flirting with me or just wanted to be involved with me (mainly because at that point I was a major stoner, still am) but I really didn't want anything to do with anyone so I just stuck to my one friend. i know that sounds bad but I was known as a lesbian and a lot of girls who wanted to experiment was trying to get with me (I'm not a lesbian btw I'm bisexual who was dating a girl but we had an open relationship)

I was wondering if and when someone would point that out!
