I can vouch for the longevity of this bait. I bought some a few years ago before Monster picked them up and left them in my boat in the sun for several weeks. Never did start stinking or rotting.

I can say this bait works great. There is another company called Blue River Carp that sells the same. I use both all the time when i go out. Even caught a 5ft alligator gar with the Dark Water.. 😊😊😊

I live in Tennessee right off of the Cumberland River...saw an older guy out there snagging the Asian Carp to use for catfish bait...says he catches on it every time... I'll definitely be trying it out soon
Might have to try some of that. Really don't have time to bait fish. I do occasionally but I usually bait fish in the chicken section of the grocery. Done some drifting yesterday around the Otter Creek area. Caught 9 one was 24 in the net.
I’ve never been fishing on the Ohio River , I live about 30 minutes from Cincinnati . I’m going to have to try it out sometime.

Steve, I am very happy about you losing weight because I was worried that you might check out on us too soon. You look great, but I am now concerned you don`t have enough lead where you need it to handle a sixty- or seventy-pound Flathead. I know those Monster Rods can handle it, but you might get a real workout. Thank you and your wife for making these great videos.
I took one piece of the Dark Water bait , cut it into chunks, then added a package of strawberry jello to it in a zip lock bag.
alot of my buddies have been using carp as bait when they cant find anything else and the bite seems to be about the same as other baits, i have no doubt that this bait will work and help out with the carp problem

i tried using fresh asian carp this summer on trotlines and sadly it was one of my worst days out there with the lines. since they are so abundant here in ky lake it doesnt make sense. but if i get fresh skipjack my lbs go way up. but at the dams they will smash the fresh carp... but cant sell em from pole fishing... which me and a friend will do sometimes nothing like catching 400-500 lbs just for fun in a 6-8 hour session.
Do not sleep on Asian carp for big blues too. I fish the Missouri river and it's been loaded with Asian carp for well over a decade. We use it constantly and have pulled in more 50+ blues on it than I can count at this point, and my dad got one that measurements put in the 90s on Asian carp...it has to be fresh though. Catch them, cut em up, and get them on ice. I'd put it against any bait out there for numbers and size of blue cats.

Plus if it's not a species in the water you fish and the game warden wants to get ya good luck cause it's your word against his and you were using a invasive species as bait. Use carp in your water brother works just the same

Man' I've been trying this bait every time I went out for the last 6 months. Not one hit on any of it yet. While shad, fresh cut carp, and chicken breast getting hit non stop. Nothing has hit this stuff yet, I've used a bag and a half of it so far.
That is not uncommon for proven baits not to work in your area. I have had similar experiences with flathead in my area not taking live bream.

Beefheart is the best catfish bait I've ever used.

Need more people harvesting carp in general. All carps are invasive beside buffalo fish.
