Don’t use the locks on wardrobes. They disappear after you logout. So not until a hotfix.

@@AndyyAndyy-ri8ue I’ve thoroughly tested the system. There’s a number of bugs/exploits. The devs have been advised. The only one I discussed publicly was the wardrobe because it negatively affects the base owner.
SON OF A BITCH. I added a BCU lock to a wooden box, buried it and it disappeared/despawned. Wish I had seen this before. Ugh.

edit: oh and I found my lock in the hunting/weapon store in Novigrad, the shop with the sleeping suicide puppet. so theres another source

Found one in one of the gun stores in the big D4 city.

Could not put one on car or chest. I put in my hand and nothing. I tried to put one on door but same issue...nothing. It's fully charged, I put in hand. The only thing about my base door is its a pre-fab buildings door so maybe thats a problem?
Yes unfortunately you cannot place them on prefab doors or cars but you should be able to place them on your lockers. I thought you could place them on chest but I must be mistaken. Thanks for commenting 😊
BCU stands for Bio Control Unit, the glowy thing on the back of your head.

Would you want your own bcu so people would have to kill you or someone else’s. If you did someone else’s could they open your bcu lock?
To unlock the lock the BCU need to be fresh one? Or even expired bcu can unlock it? 🤔
When you collect a bcu it will have an expiry date, once this runs out the key becomes useless 👌

Excellent question meri, unfortunately I cannot confirm this for sure as I didn't test it but I think if you use an electrical repair kit that should work. I know for gold locks if you simply place them and then remove them it repairs its health to 100% lol

Only one per flag area 👍
Actually you can place multiple but only one will be active
Okay you sais where to find them how to charge them, where to put them but you didn't tell the most important thing: what is unique about them? What do they do that other locks don't?
You can only unlock these locks with the bcu from a dead player either who owns the lock or is part of the squad that owns the lock. You cannot open these any other way 👍
