Hello there and friendly greetings! About tip #1: I remember it was a "feature" more than one year ago, when I used to drag my chests underwater close to the perimeter wall... Then after an updated that was disabled. So happy to see the devs have re-enabled it! About tip #2: just put a blueprint close to the tree. Only you can see your blueprint so you don't have to memorize the precise location of your under-the-tree chest. Great tutorial, as usual! Happy gaming and have a great day!
I have been hiding chests in trees since I first started 2 years ago. Never had them found. Even with absurd amounts of loot. Its just hella scary opening them up.
Yea I try my best to persuade players to now play on official servers, I've been playing scum since release and I've never once played on one. Find yourself a good private community any Cheaters are quickly banned.

How long does a buried chest last with no base flag? Can it be maintained?
It will last 7 days without being interacted with, all you need to do is unbury the box and select maintain to reset the time 👍
