Been on the hunt for a 2018/2019 M140i in black with red leather preferably 3 door for ages! Best spec this guy is well lucky and has some mad mods!
the facelift/lci 2 (67 plate and onwards) doesn't come with red leather unfortunately

I have an M135i, I think I'd go for A45, S3 or Golf R if I lived in the UK (I'm Australian). Every damn video I see from the UK.. if it's not raining, it's damp!

Absolutely love the wheels, and car over all.
So many people try to be 'different' by de-chroming everything and then putting black wheels on, and then end up looking the same as everyone else, it's so common and not different at all.
Splitter and rear valance look great, and the power is awesome.
The exhaust is way too loud for me, but I'm not 20 years old and don;t want the attention, plus I doubt my neighbours would appreciate it when I leave for work at silly oc'lock in the morning.
Has it got the go faster stripe though ?

Hard to tell for me but I hope he did check that they are legal for his own safety. Even though the number plate size is good I can nip pick and say its illegally spaced out sadly

19s. The standard wheels are noticeably smaller and 20s don't fit without work. My 340i came with 19s and tyre roar is loud on certain road surfaces. Just something to consider

@@nicholasmcquillin4659 on the 340i it's 255/35 r19 on the back and 225/40 r19 on the front. The wider back tyres are actually cheaper to buy for some reason and being 19s you can fit mich ps4s as apposed to the normal ps4. These give amazing grip and on a dry day won't spin up using launch control. Even in the wet still very impressive

@@Allalex97 intriguing... working hard is a matter of perspective i guess. I know some pretty hard working people who couldn't dream of heading to pick up an m140i, tune it to the max and be able to keep the thing legitimately on the road through the scary insurance costs etc.
But the fact that you bit HARD on the comment within 3 mins of me making it screams a little defensive.

@M'Load, 1Man Bukkake Baller. Cum hard or go home. indeed... however these will be PCP's that deffo will not allow modifications. Living life fast fell foul of that with his M4 - bmw made him find the finance to pay his agreement off or would have taken the car back.
The point im making, is realistically, kids the age of this are not, in the most part getting into cars like this, without some form of help. Either bank of mum or dad, zero outgoings for any adult stuff, ie living at home rent free, or they have landed as a professional footballer or .com empire 🤣🤣🤣.. the latter obvs a little rarer.
I'd think most young people live with parents and are able to afford these. Also would depend on income. I think when I start full time work I'll probably get a property first, rent it then think about getting a car but the risk I take is how old I'll be and if marriage comes whilst saving for a car which would ruin it.

I'm thinking duxback you can get it from halfords autocentres applied in a dry environment I've got it on mine and it's meant to last 12 months so they say, had it on about a month and the rain still runs off like it did day 1 so so far so good
The best glass sealant I think out there is angelwax H2GO. Funnily just applied it to my dads car before watching this 😅. I have a video of it on my channel for you guys to check out the beading characterustics 👍

Got mine stock with just a blue spark under the bonnet, goes like shit off a shovel. I appreciate people modifying these but the stock exhaust sounds understated and lovely as it is, problem with this car is it now looks ricer and sounds like a golf r, mine looks executive and well engineered in stock form, I’m glad I didn’t go for the red interior either I had it in my previous 3 series convertible which made sense but can’t imagine it in a hatch, each to their own tho!

People don't realise that pops and bangs cause excessive blow by putting excessive fuel into the oil (effectively watering it down) also damages turbo seals and O2 sensors in the long term.
Philip Hawkins people do realise that but when a trusted tuner puts a map on tour car which maps £500,000+ cars I’m sure I’ll trust him with my lesser car 😂

Out of the factory the engine out performs the chassis. Sort that out, only then start looking at other mods. Lowered, widened, underbody brace, M4 LCA & TS. Mybe a suspension kit. 👍

Alex B lmfao cost wise?! My car was 50k these are low 30s after 17-18% discount. There are poles apart cost wise. This car is comparable price wise to the Golf R or S3. Do you know much about cars lol?! I like BMW and had a few, I just don’t like the 135/140 as they are as common as the Golf R, however appreciate the 140 engine and performance on a budget. BMW had deals of 399 deposit and 399 a month. My car was 6k in and 556 a month. Slight difference.
