Shotguns are always my thing in any FPS game, including Goldeneye 007, because I am the run n' gun type of guy. So, the Regular Shotgun and the Automatic Shotgun are my favorite weapons in the game. Also, yes, the Regular Shotgun and Automatic Shotgun do have some significant differences. The Automatic Shotgun is a weapon variant of the Regular Shotgun (which is not normally found in the game). Both the Regular Shotgun and the Automatic Shotgun fire five pellets ahead of Bond in a cone shape, making them almost worthless at long distances, but extremely effective at short range. The Automatic Shotgun is slightly faster than the Regular Shotgun, and the cone range is not as wide, making the Automatic Shotgun more useful against groups of enemies at short range in open areas compared to the Regular Shotgun. For both the Regular Shotgun and the Automatic Shotgun, each pellet does less damage than a normal strength weapon (such as the PP7), but a target hit by all five pellets will take even more damage than if they had been hit by the Cougar Magnum or Moonraker Laser. The Automatic Shotgun is superior to the Regular Shotgun in every way. The Automatic Shotgun surpasses the Regular Shotgun in terms of accuracy and damage, and has lower recoil and noise.
OH the Arnie quote with the hunting knife, I was actually praying for something like that pal! I think what people mix up in these videos are 'favourite weapons' and 'best weapons'. In terms of sheer 'don't fuck with me' status, the RC-P90 can't be beaten. It wees all over the other weapons it faces, aside from perhaps the Magnum in Power Weapons multiplayer. One thing i love doing with remotes is to gain the cheats and 007 mode, play on Cradle. Turn invincibility, all weapons on. Set enemy reaction speed to full percentage and health to zero. You can then confront Trevelyan on the little platform at the end, and draw a load of guards down there. Then, looking at the ground, back up the ladder slowly and drop a Remote Mine at the foot of the ladder (sometimes it's awkward though, because often the mines disappear through the floor and appear above you in the room at the top), keep backing up, and before you get into the room again, detonate the Remote. Sometimes you can get like eight guards and Trevelyan go flying off the platform after the explosion. It sounds nerdy, but I always found it a really satisfying GE moment.
Exactly the kind of feeling I'd see in a video from 2010, something I wish would come back! Plan to do a weapons ranking on the items from Perfect Dark, or even Jet Force Gemini?
Very entertaining watch, you have a great presentation style. Did not expect the RL and GL to be so high, or the Magnum so low - every list has it's surprises. 😉
If I could only pick 3 weapons, then I would pick Gold PP7, Assault Rifle and Remote Mines, since those weapons cover as many different uses as possible: Gold PP7 is obviously excellent for quick kills, Assault Rifle shoots through objects at high power and has a decent scope, and Remote Mines are explosives that you can control and throw very far.

Rocket launcher cougar magnum and zmg (9mm) is the best weapon in my opinion. And is always my faves forever. Also the two shot guns and the rcp90

I love the throwing knives. They are in no way efficient but its fun to try to nail people in the brain basket from afar.
The sniper rifle, auto shotgun, zmg, phantom, rcp90, d5k silences, pp7 silenced, and cougar are my favs.
