The goal for Twente and 3 of Tottenham's biggest attacks (including the 2nd goal) involve the ball side full back being in an attacking position when out of possession, and the ball side centre back losing a challenge for the ball on the half way line leaving a back 2 of the other centre back and full back. Studs up, almost knee level and above, no intention or even close to the ball. He definitely could have kept his legs down and behind Maddison. It was more of a 50-50 decision. On a strict referee it is gonna be a red and on a chiller referee maybe a yellow. Both would have been acceptable.
What I have seen so far this season it just shows you this team isn't up for any game. Last season Man Utd were really bad but getting lucky but this season no excuses you just can't defend at times but you play so bad against Tottenham 0-3 again I mean the 1-6 game was bad the 0-3 was very low in 2018. But seriously speaking Erik ten Hags time is coming to an end unfortunately. It's not working out. Unless a miracle is about to happen which will never happen just tells you Man Utd will end up finishing 14rh.
I'm gonna keep it real and be honest here. Ten Hag deserves more time to implement his game plan across the whole squad. He needs to be given the resources that he asks for and let him do this thing...let him cook but it all needs a bit of patience amongst the fanbase. The players aren't responding to his coaching methods and his philosophy because, quite frankly, the players just aren't good enough at the top level to carry his instructions on the pitch.
I will keep saying this united just need to rip everything up & start again you have new footballing structure so no one can hold it against you get rid of some of these players who have been there for a while like Bruno, Rashford, Shaw, Maguire, Lindelof & Malacia keep some of the experienced players build around the young hungry players who can play the style of play you want find a new hungry coach that suits the style of play & the team that is also keen to prove himself otherwise you will keep suffering everyone first laughed at Arsenal & Chelsea when they did what they did but it was for reason cause they realised what they was doing before was no longer working
The crowd at 0-2 was bang at it everyone was begging for something and they kept hitting stray passes and running it out and the third just killed it then. We all want it to work but it’s just not happening I don’t know where we go from here
Rashford should of been bouncing into Micky... He bottled it, which says it all for their first goal. We can all talk about this and that, but Ruud has done sweet f all in helping these forwards being able to finish, they are actually woeful at hitting the target. For me, we need to start stacking that CM area. We need 3 solid players, with the front three doing whatever the hell it is.
You guys say we got Zirkzee and Hojlund as if it's Ruud and Ole, or Yorke, Cole and Teddy,. Rooney, Berbatov or Van Persie. We might aswell get Hugill back from loan at Wigan. Unbelievable
the disrespect towards tottenham is ridiculous. Half decent.......Spurs are the 4th best side in the country and stats wise, they are topping most data sets. A manager who is only 12 months into his reign and has them humming.
Sideline ETH is clearly just a robot controlled by the management in the stands. It doesnt have the emotions expansion patch installed yet so it can only stand there.
McKola really slighting Ugarte who was having his 1st start in the PL in ETH's "I don't know how to setup a proper MF" tactics. Meanwhile he called Zirkzee a good player. There's no way you can slight Ugarte playing in ETH's shit setup but praise Zirkzee. How many attempts in the 6 yard box do we have to watch him feck up and mishit when someone more clinical would have buried it
Bruno. It's all his fault now. Just like It was all Pogbas fault. Then all Fred's fault. Then all Ronaldos fault. Then all Maguires fault. Then all McTominays fault. Then all Rashfords fault.
Rashford pulled up far too early out of that 50/50. Maybe he wouldn't have won it but at least put van der Ven off his stride a little bit. About 3 examples of passing the buck from our players during that goal.
We are short in midfield. We need a player who wants the ball constantly and dictates play. Eriksen is the closest to that profile and that is depressing. The number 10 position is not working, better off playing two number 8’s.
Absolutely correct, not even that… they’re football rejects that we’ll be unable to sell in future… they’re not top level players or professionals (any of them). We’re talking about trying to win premier league games, with championship and below level players… that the club has paid a premium for.
ETH was brought in to implement Ajax type football. In his 3rd year with 13 new players, an 'elite' ball playing keeper and new centre backs we still can't string together any passes from the back and we are a less effective transitional team than before he arrived. He has failed the assignment. Time to move on.
Adam's appraisal of Ugarte is very RUclips. He was nowhere near one of the worst ones. Hung out to dry by a mess of a system. "He doesn't look a player to me" - Come on man.
That 1st goal from Tottenham doesn't go in if Wan Bissaka is on that left handside sliding in. But anyway 10hag wants Dalot like players upfront attacking 😂😂😂😂
Don't even need to say much more. Can't manage the club or play the matches for them. Everything Adam said was true. I've just been so frustrated because we have good players but we've spent years underperforming in the average match and I just can't be having this. Need to see some changes. ETH hasn't even mastered the basics. I do like him as a person, he says the right things and has a good attitude (in public) but we have to try something else
Was that what the manager said? I hardly listened to the prepared answers he may have conceived pre match. Isn't the job of a manager / coach of any sporting team to ensure players make the least mistakes possible.. Hard work on the training ground, drills, work and more work. Belief and confidence must be instilled. Each game a different opponent, tactics fine tuned like wise. If the coaching is doing this, which they must be.. Then something is very wrong. It won't get better tomorrow or next week.. Ruud brought in as striking coach.. That's not working yet either. Will he take over before new year or halloween... Probably
Man Utd club and its fans are still suffering from post Fergie trauma. They desperately need a bounce back manager. A type of a manager that creates a new foundation, new environment, new mentality and new culture. Once they have that strong foundation, then they can choose and chop coaches that they want.
Not much power in our squad. Think of players with a combination of pace, power and a determination. We couldn’t win any duel with spurs. Our players just bounced of theirs in the tackle
Bruno will make any midfielder that he plays with look crap. From pogba, to casimero, to matic, to mctom, to fred, to VDB, to mainoo, to ugarte, to erikson, to bernardo silva... the list goes on. Bruno would make Rodri and FDJ look washed if they both came to our club and played with bruno in the CAM. It's the reality that fans will never see. We've changed literally every single player on the pitch, except for the one in the most important position. 3 years with him in the 10, and 3 years barely scoring goals.... are you all daft?
Pre game, Joe was saying they’re performing at the same level as the top 3, just need to score more Stop talking with blinkers on. You are a TERRIBLE side
They all go for spectacular goals rather than accuracy....every time they try for a 12 inch square in the top corner...its almost impossible.... I'd give them 100 attempts from a static ball with no pressure and they wouldn't get 1 in a hundred.
Half of the problem is our midfield and attack making it a basketball game. Sometimes you just get the foot on the ball and slow the game down. Yesterday it was clear for all to see that spurs had started better than us. Just take the sting out for sometime and then build on it..
Odd assessment considering their tactical approach and execution was exactly how they should have approached the game. The players just put all that in place themselves the night before did they? I think ETH is doomed from here, the team didn’t play for him today at all, didn’t even look like they tired, but let’s not rewrite history on the things he has contributed to.
Not defending Ten Hag, he needs to go but this is also another "underperforming players getting the manager sacked situation". Good luck to the next manager that takes over but please let it not be Southgate.
I'm gonna say it....we need klopp....he was available at the time ....when he left bvb....now he is again....yes he was Liverpool manager....& We hate it....but this is professional football....get him in
I think that we were playing shite, but still creating chances. So there was time to improve and then stage a proper comeback second half. However the red card totally torpedoed that idea. Ridiculous decision that compounded a terrible first half and then game by United.
Can we talk about how bad Rashford is for that fist goal? Awful touch, know he's losing it and strolls past Van De Ven ffs and why has the midfield all of a sudden decided not to press again? Dalot for the first too is a fucking embarrassment. ETH got it wrong, will likely lose his job and you can't really argue against that tbh, but fuck me our players need to have a proper look at themselves
What's going on with Rasmus, why is zirkzee constantly starting before him. I haven't seen anything from zirkzee. I don't get the signing, the guy's touch and passing are atrocious
United don't have the players or manager to compete. The squad is probably top 8 at best. What united players even make the bench of the other big 6 teams? Or even Villa
Where are these good players? I see a lot of potential but very few if any are the finished article. Until people realize this is setup as a multi year plan, we will just keep spinning our wheels.
Garnacho hit the woodwork twice recently overpowering the shot. Plus I’ve seen a few times this season where a player seems to be reluctant to take a player out to stop a attack resulting in a goal (not just united)

@@kamleshroodur8552 I'm hoping that our fullbacks become significantly more involved, as we can bring the control further up the pitch, rather than the typical - hoof the ball while the entire team are out of position making defending counter attacks impossible.
And what makes it even worse is that when Tottenham got a throw in or a goal kick, there was no a single Man United player who asked the ref for urgency or time wasting. They looked uninterested!!
United players will be scared and trembling facing Porto this week. Imagine facing Aston Villa after that…
There definitely has to be someone who can do a better job than Ten Hag‼️‼️
Every man on the planet that's watched and played football, and born before the year 2010 know's that's not a red card
Martinez going to ground when he's the last man back did my head in! 🤯
Our "Butcher" is lucky. No one is calling him out but he's been very poor for all games he's played in.
@@peterkalyabe7553he’s been poor for months but top reds would never do that
The crowd at 0-2 was bang at it everyone was begging for something and they kept hitting stray passes and running it out and the third just killed it then.
Love they pull an off the post to make the performance seem better. Like spurs didn't have an off the post too
All of this is well deserved.. y’all asked for the coach..
Enjoy the games
17:00 Ir-regaurdless is not a word, it's regaurdless.
Found the spurs fan.
Sideline ETH is clearly just a robot controlled by the management in the stands. It doesnt have the emotions expansion patch installed yet so it can only stand there.
Banter FC
The slip from bruno is fine, its the way he threw his leg up that got him sent off
Dalot doesn’t track back and throws his hands in the air !!! Like it wasn’t anything to do with him 🤣
yeah Mckola is on point. ETH seems done. I still think not 100% his fault. But it is his responsiblity
How many attempts in the 6 yard box do we have to watch him feck up and mishit when someone more clinical would have buried it
Dalit was terrible today. Not gonna lie, kinda glad Bruno gonna be out for a bit. He’s been going to much
Dalit is an untouchable in India...Dalot you mean 🙂
Bruno. It's all his fault now. Just like It was all Pogbas fault. Then all Fred's fault. Then all Ronaldos fault. Then all Maguires fault. Then all McTominays fault. Then all Rashfords fault.
@@irieite9666 when iln fact San Andreas fault is runnning through the dressing room
@@fearlessformidableferociou8623😂😂
@@irieite9666Yes, correct.
Just 6 games in and feels like season is over. Diabolical performance
In the moment I could see ref thinking possible red. The moment you see replay very clear not red.
I just wish they’d made the change in the summer. Now they have to stick with him for a few more games at least
McKola's eyebrows never ever lie
You’ve got a good team ? You haven’t though you’ve bought average benchwarmers which their other clubs didn’t want
Absolutely correct, not even that… they’re football rejects that we’ll be unable to sell in future… they’re not top level players or professionals (any of them). We’re talking about trying to win premier league games, with championship and below level players… that the club has paid a premium for.
Where are you getting this bench warming myth from? De ligt was not a bench warmer
Rather get post match opinions the guys than this analysis.. you guys arent MNF. Its pointless without video of the action youre analysing.
"makes me feel like people weren't doing basics".... I have thought this for a long time. Is it because they are not playing for the manager?
Was that what the manager said? I hardly listened to the prepared answers he may have conceived pre match.
Isn't the job of a manager / coach of any sporting team to ensure players make the least mistakes possible..
Hard work on the training ground, drills, work and more work. Belief and confidence must be instilled. Each game a different opponent, tactics fine tuned like wise.
If the coaching is doing this, which they must be.. Then something is very wrong. It won't get better tomorrow or next week..
Ruud brought in as striking coach.. That's not working yet either. Will he take over before new year or halloween... Probably
@@kiers1970 its on this video... Adam says it at 01.47 ish
Man Utd club and its fans are still suffering from post Fergie trauma. They desperately need a bounce back manager. A type of a manager that creates a new foundation, new environment, new mentality and new culture. Once they have that strong foundation, then they can choose and chop coaches that they want.
Ugarte doesn’t look up to much, I agree.
Thank you, I’d rather see Mainoo, Zirk or even Diallo in a 10. Fernandes is just a tornado of chaos
The problem is the Hyena underneath the pitch at OT
Pre game, Joe was saying they’re performing at the same level as the top 3, just need to score more
Stop talking with blinkers on. You are a TERRIBLE side
Facts
I honestly think these guys are just trying to stay on United’s good side for some purpose.
Very disappointed with Dalot on the first goal, esp after how good he's been for us recently. Just doesn't bother.
I guess it's okay for players to now slip before a challenge and send their boot high in an uncontrolled fashion at players legs.
They all go for spectacular goals rather than accuracy....every time they try for a 12 inch square in the top corner...its almost impossible.... I'd give them 100 attempts from a static ball with no pressure and they wouldn't get 1 in a hundred.
It's Southgate time, the Goat.
Half of the problem is our midfield and attack making it a basketball game. Sometimes you just get the foot on the ball and slow the game down. Yesterday it was clear for all to see that spurs had started better than us. Just take the sting out for sometime and then build on it..
Dalot couldn't be arsed, mazroui, de light and martinez looked like they were trying everyone else didn't look arsed
Let’s be honest it was coming
I think United won the Cup final despite ten hag and not because of him.
I don’t see us winning against villa next weekend. And I strongly believe that, after that defeat, he will be sacked
You missed out the word “ again “in the title
Can we talk about how bad Rashford is for that fist goal? Awful touch, know he's losing it and strolls past Van De Ven ffs and why has the midfield all of a sudden decided not to press again? Dalot for the first too is a fucking embarrassment. ETH got it wrong, will likely lose his job and you can't really argue against that tbh, but fuck me our players need to have a proper look at themselves
"I blame the Glazers"
Is that one still on the Bingo card.?
Mates, ETH was exposed a long time ago lol ETH is not that guy!
We have never played as bad it was absolutely shocking today I think he’s gone
We need rid of the players that have sacked previous managers
Scott McTominay too good for you guys
Bruno may think he should be playing in a better club. But Man U is his level.. on current form he wud not break in any world class team.
Didn’t this guy say a few years ago that Arteta had reached his peak
Where are these good players? I see a lot of potential but very few if any are the finished article. Until people realize this is setup as a multi year plan, we will just keep spinning our wheels.
2 at the base of midfield for the first goal and no one is to be seen😭
Garnacho hit the woodwork twice recently overpowering the shot. Plus I’ve seen a few times this season where a player seems to be reluctant to take a player out to stop a attack resulting in a goal (not just united)
Dalot, for the first goal, was disgusting !
There's not a single united player that would get into city, arsenal or liverpools team
