I just flipped my esc 180° on the yaw axis so the power leads and cap were behind the camera and it fit perfectly with the cap still on it!!!

The frame it self looks awesome..my deal-breaker is the weight.
Building one of these now (the deadcat version) and under the pads on the esc for the xt60, there is a carbon cutout. That carbon cutout I believe is for a 470uf cap, as one fits perfectly and it has a science cut for a ziptie. Just thought Id let you know.

I did a torture test of this thing (including an accidental fire 😂) and it absolutely exceeded my expectations with 0 breaks
I just bought the DC for freestyle because why not? 😊
I found the iflight esc's work the best for that frame. The cap is built into those esc's and they fit that frame perfectly
To many issues with iflight stack. I put a mamba mk4 f7 aio on it flies like a dream.

I just finish building one, very strong frame but heavy. i built the Dead Cat version.
Have been watching your vids for about a year love em.. you always have interesting things..my fav is when your fixing flight controllers or the esc board.thanx for sharing! oh do you know what the plastic runner for motor wires is called please and do you know a brand name thats better quality or they all pretty much the same! cheers Drainman ,i wouldnt have learnt much about boards without your help. although im stuck on a baby ape board atm just get 1 flashing light no motor spin .....its cool ill work it out one day.thanx again!

Isn't the big motor gonna be an overkill for a 5"? I run 2506 on my 6" and this 2806 or whatever seems pretty big for a 5"
i agree 2806.5 is normally for 7in

Ever since I went impulse Rc every other frame is a let down. The new evo is the ish.
I've used those motor wire covers and they've cut my wires twice in a crash. Just she's tape Throw those motor covers away if you want to save your motors
