Lovely to see your mum again!! 😊 And thank you again for another useful project!! 😁🙋♀
You are so welcome Margie. Thank you😀
Good afternoon. Thank you so much for your channel. I do designing, pattern making and sewing. Qualified. My husband passed away and at my age I desperately need to earn extra money as, even though qualified in many, many fields, in our country someone of my color and age is regarded as unemployable. Your wonderful ideas have helped me tremendously, especially when I was requested to make different items for each of my granddaughter's school's classes for each mommy and granny for our Mother's Day. Blessings from South Africa 🌍
I'm sorry for your loss Anne-Marie, and hope that you are able to supplement your income with your sewing skills. All the best😊
That's so cute. Sometimes, with the fusible fleece, a few rows of quilting will make the bag sturdier. That way, you can still use whatever piece of fabric, without using the more expensive stabilizer. I keep little bits of stabilizer, fleece, and batting. I find a purpose for them all. All my straps have a bit of fleece or batting. It keeps them from crinkling in the wash. I sell my stuff, and I make sure everything is utilitarian. Use it, love it, wash it, and wear it out...in time. 😊
Sounds perfect Sharon. I keep all my little bits too. I may even have a plan for them soon😀
I just love that you are getting mom involved in projects. Looks like she is enjoying herself.❤️😊
Definitely blessed to have a mother who enjoys what she does. 🙂❤️
She seems to be enjoying it Melanie😀
Most definitely Sharon😀
Lovely to see your mum again. Please show us the fabric she chooses. Lovely little big. X
Thanks Christine. She'd already packed it, but will join us for another video😀

So awesome seeing your beautiful mother.
Blessings to you both. 😊
Thank you so much Anita😀
The '' wrong'' side of your lining is perfect ! It's lighter so you can see better through all the stuff you put in the bag😊
Thanks Elen. I preferred the wrong side too😀
Have a wonderful visit with your mom Christine! Would love to see the fabric she picks out...🥰
Thanks Sue. She'd already packed it, but will do a video with her soon😀
Gorgeous! Hello mum! Nice quick bag. But it looks so good!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a great project again Christine, thank you very much. I have some of the same fabric in blue tones, I'll have to dig it out and try this toiletries bag. Thanks again 😊 😊

It is really the “other right side”. Sometimes it is better for a project being made.

Thanks Valerie. We had fun doing another video together😀
A very nice bag. I like the shape of it. I may have to try one. It seems you always make nice size bags out of the smallest pieces of fabric! Hello Mrs. Hannah! So nice to see you again. I know you will pick out some pretty fabrics from Christine's stash. We would love to see what you make as well.
Thanks Brenda. She'll join us in the next video😀
Your tutorials are just so good! Thank you!
Thank you so much😀
Another great project I will be adding to my list of sewing projects.
I had an "Ah Ha" moment in this video! I have so much dark cotton that I'd intended to use for linings until you mentioned in a video some time ago that light fabrics should be used for linings because older eyes can see what's inside better.🤦♀️ Now what to do with all my dark cottons? Until today.... use the "wrong"side! Brilliant!
Great seeing your mum again and so glad to read that she'll be in an upcoming video.
Thanks for another great video, Christine.
Hugs from Nevada,
Cathy❤
Thanks Cathy. That tip about the lighter fabric was actually from another viewer. It was very sound advice😀
Just lovely Christine I have some similar fabric think I will put a small pocket on the inside xmas presents in the making hello to your mum and have a nice day😁
That pocket sounds like a great idea Pamela😀
Lovely to see your mom again!
Love this for a toiletry bag.
Do you have a suggestion on what fabric to use to have the inside a bit moisturizer resistant? Wet shower stuff.
Thank you Dana. Your fabric stores should have some waterproof fabric for the lining. You could even use a mattress protector😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs great idea. Thanks!

hi, you are looking wonderful.
Thank you so much Georgina🙂
I am going to order labels and don’t know what size I should order for my bags and purses. Would you share the size of your sew on labels with me please?
Linda, I get the custom woven labels 2cm x 4cm😀
Hi Christine do you use a waterproof material on the inside. I am making a bag for an Oz friend who is coming for a short stay. Looking forward to this one. Thank you for your help.xxxx
Wendy, I've never used waterproof fabric, but believe other do. Mine are usually machine washable though😁
Hi Christine and thank you I will see how it sews and looks. My granddaughter wants me to make a cosmetic bag also I have cut it out but thought I would do a trail run. Hugs and Loves xxxx
