- Well, since this is a new game and I am new with the series, do not expect much but laughing on my blunders ;)
Feel free to give me pointers if I am doing something wrong though

Just for completion: there is the Rocksteady Mantle which helps against status ailments. This mantle provides protection from damage reactions, meaning it stops flinching as you take damage. Additional protection against hearing, which is resistance from tempor and wind elemental. Also it gives you a general defence buff. To get it you must fulfil three requirements: you must be Hunter Rank 50 and you have to finish the quest "A Summons from Below". This is an optional quest and after that you'll need to hunt three unique tempered elder dragons (which would not be a problem for you) to get this as a reward.
I have it. I just don't bother with it for its 90sec of effect and 300sec cooldown
Ha and I thought: wow 90 sec time to land a good hit. Meh :D
Don't get me wrong. It probably is useful, maybe it is just me. In the end... title does say "n00b vs..." ;)

What happened
There's always that one guy that sais 'RIP' in someones comment section when they suddenly dissappear from youtube. The dude's probably fine, just stopped making content for his own reasons.

His computer died, it caught a trojan virus due to the massive amount of furry R34 he downloaded. Quite sad 😢. His family was very disappointed and abandoned him. Now he lives a life in shame
