In their first joint interview, the then-engaged couple shared with Access Hollywood all about working together on their comedy film “Gigli” and what their chemistry was like on set. I have never seen Jennifer so happy, like a teenager. She was so in love with him that she was glowing. I can't forget she said that Ben was the only man who broke her heart and that only mean ONE thing: She was really in love! By the other hand, she said also that with him she can be the way she really is and that is one of the best thing that could happen to anyone in a relationship. Would be a torture to be in a marriage with someone who doesn't like the way you are. I wish the best to both with this 2nd chance in their life. ❤️

I've never forgotten this interview or how in love they so clearly were back then,. I've honestly always hoped they'd somehow, someday get back together. As pathetic as it may sound, the fact that it's actually happening just makes me ridiculously happy! Timing is everything and they've both really lived life and evolved personally and professionally. It's going to be so cool and fascinating to see them as a couple again at this stage of their lives!

But older people know that while teenage love is the most intense and the highest of highs, it is not something a solid relationship can be based on. Eventually you will become grown ups, and grown up things happen, and both people will have to be able to compromise or accept the things you disagree about. You will see your partner at their worst. And you will no longer have “in love” feelings anymore. And that is when lasting love has a chance to start.
