This is an amazing interview! Maybe it was the questions, the flow of conversation, both... but I see her in a different light now. It made me go back and look at previous interviews that I've already seen and I NOW SEE Jennifer Lopez for HER! It took this interview for me to recognize she is and was ALWAYS being herself in her interviews. She enjoys opening up and sharing. It's a healthy release for her!
Jennifer's truth is giving me permission to just let go and embrace myself and what's truly meaningful to me in life. It reminds me that no one's life is consistently easy/blissful no matter how privileged. Also, difficult/dark times are OPPORTUNITIES to find ways to live more authentically by engaging in personal/spiritual growth. #Getonthefloor to motivate yourself and then again to celebrate overcoming the perceived obstacle! Thanks Jen, needed this!

It would be ok! Jlo is focus when it comes to her business. So I don't think she would be shady and dramatic as Mariah would. Also she would kill MC with style :-)
DVmakeup MC is more fun as far as personality. JLo is much more serious. I think Mariah is a music legend. Only areas Jen has her beat is style & acting.
I think JLo seems the exact same to me in interviews & her look. So I appreciate's Mariah's jokes & sense of fun. Keeps things new.
I don't think MC is funnier...she´s just "shades". And you can´t compare their music skills because they´re totally different. I don't see MC dancing and entertaining like JLO...the same way I don't see JLO singing like Mariah. It takes more than just a voice to be an entertainer, these days. Mariah is not the same legend, if she was...she wouldn't expose her self to that ridiculous situation with silly Nicky. She´s not the same artist....it´s a shame
Not sure why all the JLo/MC comparisons. Mariah is a living legend with vocal talents rivaled only by the late Whitney Houston. JLo is a triple threat pop star. More apt comparisons would be Cher, Madonna or Britney.
Anyway I don't think MC is funnier. Some things she does are indeed a nod & a wink to her diva image. But she also comes across as very insecure and hides behind it. One never quite gets the sense of the real MC.
JLo is unguarded and surprisingly candid in interviews. She seems like she would be a cool chick to hang with, but I wouldn't trust her around my man.
When MC had the vocals past tense., MC has no vocals anymore , she cant dance n she cant since,, soo her careeer is over,, she just has to stay home n watch jlo on tv.. cuz mariah was a waste of new year

I think after the album JLO came out, I stopped purchasing her music. As much as I love her, her music has changed to the distasteful genre that is being played today. Jlo, my hope for you is that you find that love that you desire in Jesus Christ, only He can truly give you a rebirth. The only thing you need is Jesus and no one, and nothing else. I say it in the most loving way possible, I really do hope you find Him. And... as a journalist, I have to say... I love, love, love how this interviewer guy conducted the interview. Excellent job with the follow-up questions, the background knowledge, and smooth transitions.
