Hi James. Completely agree with your conclusion; a total no-brainer! I joined the 'Speedy Club' last week, when a Hesalite became part of my collection. Paid full retail here in Singapore from an AD (FX equiv to about GBP 4,960); I bloody love it; it's an incredibly comfortable and handsome watch! Only comment I'd make is that the 2021 Speedy doesn't come with a strap, tool, loupe or any of the other shinanegans that the previous model came with. But I love the travel case that's included. So Sean should definitely keep these before he sells his box! Look forward to your future content. Cheers, Rich
Hi just Informing u maybe if u don't like scratches on the hesalite, u can use those new super thin 0.1mm self healing TPU film, they're virtually invisible to the naked eye and doesn't affect the opacity of the hesalite crystal at all. Cheap and Easy to remove/install as well. Best regards

There’s one on eBay in the US. YT would not let me post the link but that’s the exact box that goes with the watch. It even had the outer cardboard box.
At that price its a no-brainer. I managed to purchase mine from the AD in Canada at 13% discount. Just under $10k. Another dealer nearby would not go higher than 5% discount.
A few inaccuracies here regarding the box and contents James - the 3861 box comes with a travel box and a cloth and that’s it . No extra straps or changing tools are included.
Hey James, Good video and I fully agree. I always want a full set but if the deal is good enough I'll by it without the box as long as I have the paperwork and I'll source the box afterwards. I recently did this with a GMT Master 2 and found an Era correct box easily. Also, that's a great price for that Speedy. Cheers
He should not be afraid to contact Omega their customer service is really good I contacted them for a box of mine 1969 speedy and they send me not the exact box because it was too old, but they really help me to find a solution

You’ve got the international warranty card, you have the Master Chronometer card. You are only missing the Pictograms card which you should be able to get from Omega. Honestly it’s a gift 🎁 KEEP IT. If you decide after the time period is up to sell it give me a call, I’d buy it off you for that price lol 😂
I’d happily sell my new style box for £480, as my view is what do I need it for anyway. One correction though, the new watch doesn’t come with the straps and other bits, so you’ve got those as a bonus, so keep hold of them.
How important would you say the pictogram card is? Your video says ensure all cards are there but the comment below says there is no pictogram card. I'm slightly confused, is pictogram card a must?
Pictograms card is the least important and I believe replaceable by Omega at a cost. Omega used to replace warranty cards at a cost of £100 + Vat. I don’t think they do that anymore but 3 years ago they definitely did.

My case back is scratched up and I would love to replace it. I am finding loads of aftermarket ones but I do not want to put any none Omega parts in my watch. I think it depends on the person. I buy to use as well but somehow that excitement of opening the bnew box, the feel and the scent gets me everytime. I feel like a little kid time and again with every new watch! It's like opening a xmas present!😁

So, if watch is genuine, keeps time well, has no issue, just keep it :) Sell the box and you will have an even better price for the watch.. you wear the watch, not the box :) I bought the Hesalite for 5100 EUR (4300 GBP) brand new from AD and struggled a little to find it at that price, as discounts are harder to get on Omega... So 3900 GBP minus the box, you get a really good price for the Sapphire version watch only.

I've seen a handful of the new 3861 Speedys on Ebay with the old box. I've always wondered why.

10% is a given, if they tell you otherwise then they’re just hard balling you.
I got mine at 13% discount in the UK from an AD.
