thanks for the guide, didnt think about the cleave build in raid being more viable just because of the buffs now... but still almost nonstop forgetting changing talents in raid :D
Yea the new build sims slightly better but its fine to still play the 'old' build
Which one would you recommend for just running dungeons right now?
So both weeks (Tyrannical/Fortified), go for the AoE build mate!
Do you know roughly how much my DPS would be affected in raids if I were to use SEF instead of serenity? Awesome vid too
Would depend a bit on your gear and the fight. In a full ST fight a little bit more compared to a cleave fight such as 1st boss in the raid. The dps decrease will just be a few %.

Still going on Versa and Crit?
Always, nothing has changed about our secondaries. They would have to re do WW to change that.
@@Kmaitland89 Saw WW with a lot of mastery. I have 26% mastery. Is that to much? Could change gear to have more versa.

And i tend to Deal the same damage as havoc in 10 targets or less

Vers & Crit is still the way to go. Nothing changed there. It's always good to sim your new item to see if there is an upgrade.
In Dragonflight Blizzard introduced diminision returns on secondary stats. That means after a certain threshold stacking a single stat will make it less valuable. Therefore you see high WW with great gear switch some stats to Mastery instead of crit/vers.
@@Kmaitland89 not true buddy , mastery value is really high right now in dungeons. @luckylukeTF download true stats addon and try to cap ur vers then go master>crit

Tyrannical vs Fortified weeks are the two different m+ weeks! Tyrannical is more boss hp/dmg. Where fortified is more dmg on mobs!
@TheloniousWoW ahh okay! I haven't got into the m+ stuff yet trying to gear only item lol 382 now started playing again a week ago after about 10 years and retail is definitely different

just curious, why not use diffuse?
I was speaking more about the spec tree and less about the class tree. I play with diffuse in dungeons where there is a nasty debuff. Its a good def. Cd!
Why are people playing without the Statue now? I know it sucks, but it still is a DPS gain.
U give the answer yourself it sucks
In group content you'd prefer to play with Generous Pour (2) and Close to Heart (2). I most of the time just don't have the points to play with statue. On top of that, the dps sucks.. I do play it in content where I am not the only monk in the group!
@@TheloniousWoW what about getting rid of soothing mist and go with vivify proc that way you got quite good instant selfhealing when needed and also the statue
@@Pamycon-WoW some people play like that yea. But than you miss the crit chance on Expel Harm. Which is also an dps decrease!
@@TheloniousWoW that's where the statue come into play on big pulls it does good amount of dmg but might be different from week to week, for example when sanguine week i wouldn't pick the statue :D
