FYI: I work for aligrace that has her brand on Revolve and I can tell you on those Robert Graham jeans, they did an alteration to shorten them and put back the original hem to make them look original. They did an excellent job and I can tell they were professionally done because we put back original hems on all jeans we tailor to fit the buyer so sell with confidence, those jeans look great! I love your videos BTW. 🙂
My Plato's Closet has a $3 clearance racks, everyday all day and I get good stuff like Lilly Pulitzer even new with tickets, mostly XS, S and Med but they sell too.
A lot of the summer dresses go into fall with a cardigan. I feel like seller could style pieces together and sell either individually or together but it would give people ideas. Bomber jackets are really on trend. That one will sell fast.
I've stopped picking up stuff that I don't personally find exciting even from good brands or for cheap because I know I'll have no motivation to list them.
I'm glad you brought up the pants being altered. It's an example of why actually checking measurements is important. We often rely on the tag for sizing at least for pants we do. For example if the previous owner altered the length and someone just copies measurements into listing without exactly checking length, you most likely will get a return. This goes for any particle of clothing which can be tailored. Good catch!
@@JewelsNcrime yes! And I’m sure I’ve missed it in the past, but you can usually tell on jeans because the hem gets so thick as a result. But thank you for sharing great tips!
Hi Becky. Just started reselling on Depop. The first few weeks I made a couple of sale. Lately I have gotton alot of offers on Depop, I accept them and people never pay. Is this comon for you as well? Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if my customer are just backing out after they send me the offer?
I'm totally confused by how poorly WHBM, Chico's and Soma do secondhand online. I think they do have a following out in the world. The only explanation I have is that the more mature customers for those brands don't shop online as much. My local consignment store has a whole separation section for Chico's, which makes me think maybe it's more of an in-person brand.

Unfortunately, it's the norm on Depop for them to make offers and not pay. So frustrating. The same thing happens quite often on Vestiaire Collective.
Omg, I just found the same Talbots top with the ice skates yesterday. It's also nwt and so cute!
