The bodice on the first one was terrible, it didn't compliment her shape at all, the Bridesmen were spot on. The combo dress suited her perfectly.

The only thing I liked about the first top was the gigantic rhinestone tiara around the front of it. Given that one of the photos said "Princess Precious" I thought that would've been a nice touch for her gown. But it definitely wasn't flattering for her shape, like there were NO cups on that thing!
@@tiffanyg5044 no it's not about her being trans. She has amazing body. The first dress was eating her up. It was too much. Of they had made the waist line little lower it would give her more torso shape. That's what they did in the end.
@@kanikagaral7637 Her being trans has partly to do with it due to her having a more masculine set of shoulders mostly. Meaning the torso of the second one was ideal, as it made her shoulders seem more effeminate.

I mean they weren't saying "Oh this dress is terrible, Lazaro is awful, blah blah blah..." they said they didn't like it for her. There is a difference, and as a professional the designer should know and understand that not everyone is going to love what he creates.
When I saw that dress, my first thought was - gee, if they could lower the skirt to lengthen the bodice, that would be perfect. Thanks to these shows, I know what comes off the hanger is a jumping off point.

The custom dress was gorgeous, I totally see what they were saying. The fitted torso is so pretty but the big skirt has the grandness she wanted

10 yrs later she meets her parents being this successful (rich), married with (maybe) kids. And her parents feel the pain of missing out.
If they feel that strongly they probably won't. My mother in law doesn't want to be around it. She has a relationship with her son but not the boyfriends and never goes over their house and acts like he isn't gay. So no they don't feel like they are missing out. My husband does talk to his brother and the boyfriend but he doesn't agree but he doesn't miss treat them.

My favorite thing about this is that you know she chose her name. Like, hell yeah, you decide that you're Precious. I don't care what your old family said about you. You take your beaming confidence and gorgeous personality and you take it to people who will love and appreciate you for who you are. What a freaking queen. There are so many people out there who have to deal with this stuff, and it's so freaking difficult for them. They know who they are, even if those around them try to tear them down. I'm so glad that she was able to get out of a bad situation, and end up in such a wonderful place. She's got a man who loves her, and NO BUDGET. I freaking adore her.

It's easy to meet the people at the "top" if you're one of them. Candidates do 4 to 7 events per day, and a lot of the time is used to take photos like the one you saw. All my love when I say that transphobic and having questions about the trans lifestyle are not the same thing. I have many kind and compassionate friends from college who have questions about this stuff but they’re not irrationally afraid of trans people. I think that it’s harder to have discussions generally if people are inaccurately labeled.

So many parents say that they don't care what the baby is as long as it's healthy, they will love it no matter what, then when the time comes to prove that love, they toss away the child that supposedly means everything to them. 😭
"Born in the wrong body" is very cissexist and reductive to trans experiences. Most of us feel like our bodies are ours and not wrong. The gender assigned to them is or maybe the hormones are but our bodies are ours. Most trans people do not use this language and find it uncomfortable at best and offensive at worst. Please try reframing to something less cis-centric.
Cis isn't "correct" and transition isn't "correcting" trans into cis.
