Mary Kimani how is wearing a certain dress best for her daughter? It’s her wedding day she should wear whatever best fits her personal style. Her mom was making it all about herself.
The bride should be able to buy what she wants.. why would you tell her she would regret buying it like yk the future too well or what?its her wedding day not yours
She stated she wanted to go more traditional and not pagent dresses anyways. She saw sparkles and because for I believe 5 years that's all shes worn it must've been difficult for her to decide what she wanted, so her sweet family and/or friends were telling her and reminding her what she already told herself. She wants to look like a bride not a contestant anymore. It's an endearing episode and one of the sweet ones you can find 💕
This show is in the American SOUTH. That's why. Coastal girls all go to college and have a career before marriage. Average age is actually 25-26 at marriage.
The actress was Kathy Bates and her character was Molly Brown a real person. Molly was a Denver socialite who survived the sinking of the Titanic. She was called The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Frankly, though, I don’t really see a resemblance to Kathy Bates, who also played Annie Wilkes in Misery.
That dress she chose complimented her body beautifully I’m so happy for her !!! 🥺 you can genuinely see the difference between a more pageant type themed dress to a bridal
I didn't see the dress . I kept looking into her blue eyes . The guest at her wedding can't take the eyes off her face . Don't give too much thought about the dress
The bride is absolutely gorgeous. Her eyes are beautiful and her hair is amazing too. And the rest of her. And even after that she's still seems like a really nice, sweet person. I think. Just my opinion.

She's pretty but I feel like people are hyping her up more than she really is. I guess beauty really is in the eyes of the beholder. I think her gentle personality is what's making her even more beautiful than her outwards features. She's like a true princess. Pretty and sweet ☺

I didn't know that but it kind of feels icky to me. Why can't you have a Mrs America? Are women in pageants seen as less desirable if they're taken? I might be reading into it too much but as an Aussie that was my first thought when I heard it.
WOW that was SOOOOO moving got me all choked up, so symbolic out of pagents into bridal life! She looked ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in that last dress gave ME chills💯😍
I think in terms of “pageant”, it would be sparkly, blinged out to the point where it is over the top. Granted we don’t really have pageants where I live so I might be missing the mark.

If you watch the full episodes, most will end showing one of the featured brides on their wedding (usually the one getting alterations because it's closer to the actual day). There's also SYTTD The Big Day which is all about planning the wedding
She didn't want that dress she bought it to please her mother
Well she did say the only reason she was born was so mom could play dress up. Poor girl has 3 older brotbers. And a very nasty mother .
@@eileenmcdonald3162 why would you say that her mom was nasty? Just because she voiced what she thought was best for her daughter?
@@eileenmcdonald3162 Nasty is a strong word and she never even said anything nasty lol.
Mary Kimani how is wearing a certain dress best for her daughter? It’s her wedding day she should wear whatever best fits her personal style. Her mom was making it all about herself.
Tbh
The bride should be able to buy what she wants.. why would you tell her she would regret buying it like yk the future too well or what?its her wedding day not yours
K because they know her and she's probably already stated her ideal dress. She may be getting blind sighted by her norm.
Honestly it’s not that insulting and the purpose is pure so ok it’s just a comment to take into consideration if you want
I am so shocked to see so many brides age 20 to 22 in US.
I didn't know a thing about life in early twenties let alone to be ready to get married
Tell me about it.🙄
I agree!! I’ll bet there are also a lot of divorces!
Once upon a time (and even today, in some cultures), people married at a young age and stayed happily married.
This show is in the American SOUTH. That's why. Coastal girls all go to college and have a career before marriage. Average age is actually 25-26 at marriage.
Is it just me or does the bride’s mom look like the lady from titanic who helped Jack out?🤣
The actress was Kathy Bates and her character was Molly Brown a real person. Molly was a Denver socialite who survived the sinking of the Titanic. She was called The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Frankly, though, I don’t really see a resemblance to Kathy Bates, who also played Annie Wilkes in Misery.
Anyone else felt that "WOW" factor missing in her dress?
I could imagine Emanuel saying "oh we love a healthy budget"
LOL FR
And still he'd go over budget
No, he would find a cheap dress, when he has a good budget.
For any other person it would just be a normal wedding dress , just because she did pageants doesn’t mean it’s a pageant dress I-
Pageant dresses look specific just like wedding dresses have a certain look and vibe. And she kept picking a certain look she was used to.
I'm in love with Lori's crew. The consultants are lovely, and I really like the relation Lori has with Monti xDDD
It would have been lovely to see her in a plain satin frock... But her chosen dress is also nice.
The brides eyes are so beautiful
That dress she chose complimented her body beautifully I’m so happy for her !!! 🥺 you can genuinely see the difference between a more pageant type themed dress to a bridal
Some mother's need to remember that they had their wedding day. This is their daughter's wedding day and their dress. Sit back and be supportive
Shes literally perfect. Like drop dead gorgeous. She could wear rags and still be perfect.
She looks *and* sounds like a Disney princess
she would look stunning even in the trashbag !
Hmmmm. I keep thinking they should have let her try on a plain but regal satin A-line dress (cuz she looks like a princess)...and that if anyone of my friends would get married can I please be part of the wedding dress entourage please??
exactly my thought replacing bling with all that ugh lace isn't doing anything for her
Trisha Park Yes! I was just thinking that simple, beautiful duchess satin would look sublime🦋
Yes!! Exactly what I thought. Maybe they did and it didn't make the cut. She'd look stunning in anything though.
She’s ridiculously beautiful
One of the most beautiful brides on these shows. She looks like her mom who is also a beauty.
That's the most beautiful bride that has been on this show ♥️♥️♥️
Not even close.
She's pretty but I feel like people are hyping her up more than she really is. I guess beauty really is in the eyes of the beholder. I think her gentle personality is what's making her even more beautiful than her outwards features. She's like a true princess. Pretty and sweet ☺
@@pianoandkpop shes average looking in my eyes. Whats remarkable about her? Ive seen women on this show who are more attractive, usually golden or dark skinned godesses who look soooo great in white dresses, but thats just my taste. Shes plain. Not jealous btw cause honestly who cares lol
@@MistyGlades567 I agree. She looks like every boring girl with a bucket of slap on her face. She seemed nice, but so annoyingly timid. Take control and tell your mother what you want! Too bad she was raised to be an obedient pageant girl.
Her mother reminds me my grandmother. She looked like her so much. I miss her so much 😔😥
The bride and her Mom are stunningly beautiful!
I really liked the first dress. Who cares if they think it looks "pageant". If they put a veil on her then it would look like a wedding dress. She seemed to have just settled for the third dress.
I love Lori’s comments
I also like her presence in their episodes
same, i mostly stick to watching the episodes w/ lori or gok
Her royal blue eyes and shiny dark hair are stunning and striking!!! I love the 3rd dress on her it was perfect combination of glamorous and bridal. Beautiful silhouette on her .
That bride has some amazingly beautiful eyes
Lori's metaphors "moth to a flame" "LIKE ICEBERGS" omg i love her so much
“are you hyper?” “no I’m focused today” hahaha me 😂 I LOVE Montey
This woman is absolutely stunning.
She has the most beautiful eyes I ever seen!
the dress she picked was GORGEOUS on her
take a shot every time you hear the word pageant
I don't know, but i feel like she could have done much better with her dress.
Judge.judu
I'm liking to watch past episodes in RUclips, cuz it emphasizes in one bride at a time without the crazy editing, jumping back and forth between brides that happens on tv
Omg she looked so beautiful and her eye color popped out the whole time but more when she saw herself at the end
That blue dress she wore on the pageant picture is hideous, but the wedding dress she chose is beautiful
She is the first person that I like with a mermaid dress
Like it fits her perfectly
My goodness, that bride and her mother are both so incredibly beautiful! Most pageant girls are not beautiful like that, but WOW! You can see she gets her looks from her mother.
They always give a budget, but often we don't get to learn what the dresses cost.
The third dress looked stunning on her and fits her perfectly 😚
Beautiful bride and very supportive consultants.💐💝 Monte and Lori love you both.
The bride is beautiful, but her eyes really stand out. They are gorgeous.
"the whole reason i was born was so my mother can do a wedding for me" damn...
i don't understand the drama of being a pagent girl n still loving bling on other things i mean its the same person why should her taste change...... bling can classic too
ps-though the first dress was disaster
still the bride wants to look different on her special day - so I see both points. no bride takes some dress that's out of their comfort zone anyway
Im Single but i getting addicted with this show since years ago...🙃🤷♀
Same
No surprise she would win a lot in the pageants she is beautiful Inside and out. She is not rude at all and she is very understanding of the constructive criticism. 😭💕
She's breathtaking in dress #3. What a beautiful bride.😍😍
Married girls can’t do pageants????? what
Alicia you can’t me Mrs only Miss. miss American for example can’t be married because you can’t have a mrs America.
I didn't know that but it kind of feels icky to me. Why can't you have a Mrs America? Are women in pageants seen as less desirable if they're taken? I might be reading into it too much but as an Aussie that was my first thought when I heard it.
agree that's just wrong marital status should have nothing to with it if a girl is qualified...
No. You still can join Mrs. World pageant.
That is one of the rules, you can't have children ever.
the fact that she calls her mum “mummy” at the end screams wholesome to me
WOW that was SOOOOO moving got me all choked up, so symbolic out of pagents into bridal life! She looked ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in that last dress gave ME chills💯😍
If all of those dresses were "pageant" dresses, then what are they doing in a bridal salon?
I think in terms of “pageant”, it would be sparkly, blinged out to the point where it is over the top. Granted we don’t really have pageants where I live so I might be missing the mark.
tbh i understand where the mum is coming from she’s helping her cause she knows it’s gonna be better to be bridal than feel like she’s going to be a pageant queen on her wedding
This is the first time I saw an episode where no one had tears in their eyes
The bride, her mother, and her mother in law are all extremely beautiful women.
The whole family has those blue colored beautiful eyes. Her mom's are especially beautiful
everyone: that's a pageant dress
*put on a veil
everyone: oh that's a bridal dress
That's literally the purpose of the veil now
"That's so weird!!"
"A good weird!"
😂😂
Brides are allowed to change their minds. If this woman wants a blingy dress, whether she originally did or not, LET HER HAVE HER DRESS!!!! IT'S ABOUT THE BRIDE.
Maggie is so beautiful, she could have a better dress than that
