Hi great tutorial but I got kind of confused at the 7:15 part which i did differently but what do u mean by "use the arrow keys to move the anchor point down" all the arrow keys do when am selecting is move the selection itself not the layers so i was kind of confused by only that part of the vid thanks to anyone who answers...still learning so maybe i kind of missed something

How to you pick your colors? I keep trying to pick my own and it never looks nearly as good. Any suggestions?
Depends, An easy tip is watch and observe the works of artists, and then try to replicate it. Ofcourse this sort of thing comes naturally to a person with experience, and its also a subjective matter. Because the colors that I like might not be preferred by others, so it boils down to the simple facts of taste and style.

How did you got your sketch in illustrator? Did you do it with procreate? Which file do i need to choose in ProCreate for it to work in Illustrator?
Almost all types of files can be brought into illustrator. Even photos from my mobile camera. I don't know why you are having problem importing files. What's your format?

No it does not you have to do it manually, its a easy process. I will show it in the future video.

Bro which color mode is good for flat design cmyk or rgb
Well it depends on the nature of your work, if you are working or producing something for the print then cymk is good, but I personally prefer the RGB mode.

Thanks the only problem I encountered is that i couldn't change the stock tree colors
I tried making my own but it's just ugly
There is number of ways you can make trees 🌴🎄.
First of all the stock trees are in most cases part of a mash, or a group, or a clipping mask in that way you can not use them. Covert them normal vector shapes and then work with them.
I am sure in one of my landscape video, I have shown that process also.
Second just take a screenshot of the tree in my video and draw over it with the pen tool.

How to get the sketch to practice
Just draw and sketch everything, and by the way my sketch are terrible. I just make them to be place holder.
