    This is hands down the best Homeworks QSX video I've seen. While I don't plan on doing the design or install myself, as a homeowner who is planning on a new build in 1-2 years, this gives me all the information I need to be able to understand costs and how to give clear instructions to my service workers.

      Hi, Many thanks for your feedback and kind words! That means a lot! Glad to hear this information will be useful for you. Even if your project happen in a couple of years I'm pretty sure the "principles" will remain likely the same, as it always been actually. Good luck with your new house project!

    Great video!
    We have some problems between occupancy sensor and palladiom keypad. We couldn't use them correctly. For example I enter bathroom and lights turn on by occupancy sensor then i left bathroom during a minute and i turn off the lights by keypad. If i forget something at bathroom, the light won't turn on when i enter bathroom during a minute. That's confuse me. I don't still know what is the problem here. If you enter bathroom after a minute not (50 sec or 30 sec) , the lights will automatically turn on by occupancy sensor.

    Interesting that the keypad circuits are run as loops like fire alarm. Very good idea ! Question: is this similar to the Lutron Athena system ?

    What types of wires should be use for DALI loop signal

    • @adelux
      @adelux  2 года назад

      DALI requires 2 core cable. Then depending on distance max etc you will need to check what section of cable will fit best your application. This is also in case you choose to have your Dali fittings to be mains powered separately.
      Alternatively you can also choose to use a 5 core cable to power AND for Dali communication.
      Hope this helps 👍🏾

    Hello sir,
    Need some help/advice after burned-out module replacement for 1 light group (LQSE-4S5-230-D)
    in manual mode all lights work from the module
    the application Lutron RA2+HWQS can see switches and lights but cannot control them what to do?
    seems like it needs to be mated to my system, any tip where I can find manual or something how can I do it myself?

    • @adelux
      @adelux  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, I would suspect a loss on the communication from the lutron cable here. Try to re-address the module. If that fails check your communication cable ✌🏾

    If I have a Lutron Homeworks QS system already, would it be possible to replace the QS processor with a QSX processor without replacing any other parts?

    • @adelux
      @adelux  2 года назад +1

      Yes it is possible. If it is a pure Processor upgrade from QS TO QSX Just need to change processor.
      However If your existing QS is already an upgrade from HomeWorks illumination to QS and you’re using software licences to use, let’s say, illumination keypads on your QS system at this point it won’t be possible. You will have to change the keypads.
      Hope this helps 😉

    The only problem with using area scenes is that the Homewoner cannot edit them on the app. The solution is to use Zones.

    • @adelux
      @adelux  2 года назад +1

      Correct! The idea here, as mentioned, is to optimise first day of commissioning with a quick way to program keypads before getting to site in order to test installation. Once we got everything working then we can use “zones”, create lighting scenes and complete all advanced programming. Whatever way work best for the Lutron guy. Thanks for your comment ✌🏾

As for me, I am based in the UK and I left Lutron 10 years ago, so no longer familiar with their training program. Good Luck!
