Hi there, thanks for the explanation. We are getting the RA2 select for the house and in the list from installer we see 'phase dimming module, 150w capacity'. How is it different from the 0-10v RF dimming module ? Which one do we use - the phase dimming or 0-10v dimming? All our lights will be surface LED lights of varying wattage ( 3W - 12W) Appreciate your inputs.
Hi Thanks for your message. Mains dimming and 0-10v are 2 different things. The one to use depends on the load you have to control. If the load is mains dim then you use a mains dimmer , if it is a 0-10v load you use a 0-10V dimmer - Voila!

@@adeluxif you have lights in a room a fair distance away from the control panel you would obviously need to switch them locally, but you do not cover this!

Hello sir, Need some help/advice after burned-out module replacement for 1 light group (LQSE-4S5-230-D) in manual mode all lights work from the module the application Lutron RA2+HWQS can see switches and lights but cannot control them what to do? seems like it needs to be mated to my system, any tip where I can find manual or something how can I do it myself?
Hi, I would suspect a loss on the communication from the lutron cable here. Try to re-address the module. If that fails check your communication cable ✌🏾
How do I bypass this the auto-off? Would I simply just take the battery out? There are times where I need the light to remain on even when there is no motion detected.
Ho well…that’s an occupancy sensor! 😅 also depends on what kind of room it’s fitted in …..couple of things though….while a room is occupied, if you change the light levels (from button or app) the light should stay where they are until you exit the room. Try that ✌🏾

Hi thanks for your comment! Well you know really a pico is a pico, meaning it’s basically a remote to operate a power module. So yeah you could use pico ref: PJ2-3BRL-GWH-F01 which is a pico with fan control engraving. And that pico will remotely operate the Maestro RRD-2ANF-WH which is the fan control power module. Hope this helps ✌🏾

Hi! I know this video is a little old now, but i've just taken stock of 20 Lutron Sivoia blinds (All of the same size, around 60cm) is there any way to resize them at all in your experience of the product?
The drive inside remains the same but you can order replacement rollers with the width you want 👍🏾

You mentioned topology and loop. Ironically, The one thing you cant do with DALI is LOOP the DALI lines. You can do all kinds of weird topologies but there shouldn't be any lines doubled up.
Correct! I mentioned that if not in this video then on the design video. As the installation is lutron related and they use the word “loop” on their module and documentation I had to use that same word to provide correct guidance when using their module. Where will those led strips in the curtain gearbox get power?
Thanks for your comment not sure I understand what you trying to find out? LED will be wired back to its Driver. Driver will be wired back to its dimmer. Hope this helps

Dialux Evo is a very cool program. I wish they had more US manufacturers in the catalog. Even tho you can bring in IES files with the pro version I'm skeptical to use it since it doesnt seem to have the proper fixture info imported.
