    The factory window sticker on my 23 Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD with the Premium pkg and a 6’ bed was over $55K.
    I bought it in February of 24. It had 6K miles on it and I paid $48K. It booked out for almost $51K.
    So that 6K miles was $7K off of the original price.
    Because I only drive 5-6K miles per year and at my age I’ll still be driving it until I can no longer drive or I’m dead.
    The longest time I’ve ever driven a car was 24 years. It was a 78 Corolla and it died in 02 with 488K miles.
    It got me through Grad school and into my first house.
    I highly doubt that I’ll live another 20 years, so like I’ve said, I’ll still be driving my 23 Tacoma

    These delusional dealers need to get with the times. People are done paying ridiculous mark-ups on everything. But especially trucks. So many folks, so greedy for their own good. It's like that joke where a kid opens up a lemon-aid stand and charges $300 for a single glass. Best friend stops by and tells him he's being silly. But he replies that if just one person buys a glass, he can go out and get that sweet mountain-bike he has his eye on. _"Just have to sell one."_

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208

      Yeah!!! That’s almost like a get rich quick scam. 😅 I guess the kid just needs to find the few who are out of touch with reality and the cost of things. I can’t remember what I was watching, but it was a comedy where someone asked a rich person how much they think a loaf of bread costs (because they don’t buy their own groceries) and their response was “IDK, $100?”. Lol…😅

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I could see that. It’s just ridiculous that they do this. Instead of taking advantage of a few people who likely will never want to buy from you again. They should be proactive and creative and figure out new services or other ways of providing actual value to customers, in a profitable but understandable or fair way.
