I think it depends on your screen. I have an ultra wide screen, so putting the panel on the left makes sense for me. But I agree that for a narrower aspect ratio, I’d rather have it at the bottom. Here’s a novel idea-why doesn’t Microsoft give us a choice and let us put it wherever we want it?
Would love ❤to see a video on how to make an email signature work in Outlook for the Web with a business logo, and social media link icons. I can never seem to get it to work or stick. 🤔
Does number 5 (Roaming outlook settings) include signature as well? Do you know if there are updated admx-templates for IT-admins to enable this setting for users via gpo? Thanks for another awesome video 😎😃
Great Video Mike. You will not please all but I appreciate the content. I struggle with O365 in our organization and hope there is more integration with Outlook, Onenote, and Todo. For now, I still use apple notes and evernote. Thanks again! Getting close to meet my needs.
I was able to find a number of the things you shared but somethings i couldn't. As an example There was no option for message reactions and no charms for events. Are these features still being rolled out or do i need to click and update button somewhere.
But what about rules for managers that want to quickly set up to keep track of messages sent an received from employees so messages are easily found for reviews?
@@MikeTholfsen Thanks for the info! Microsoft once again making changes with no thought to past practices, or customers that want to do things their way. Have a GREAT day!
hi sir , we would like to know that how to add the emoji button in response bar to save the flooding of email .we have office365 stanadard edition for our work, as we are unable to add the same button next to or left hand side of reply, reply to or & forward button
I would just like it if my outlook would load in Google. I only get the envelope running and it never just loads outlook? Works in Edge, but not google?
The left taskbar move is not wanted by the users. Overwhelmingly people I've tried it with don't like it. I think you'll get a lot of pushback, and from all accounts already have.
There are two of us in my office; my colleague does not have widescreen monitors. The move was universally hated by both of us and others in the organisation. By sticking these there it reduces the useful width of the screen for no useful gain - all the space under the icons is wasted, unlike when the icons were under the folder list when it was available for the message text. Luckily it is possible to move it back, but it requires hacking the registry and adding a obscure string into it. Another case of an extension to Parkinson's Law: user interfaces expand to fill the screen space available (to the detriment of content).
M$ has forgotten that *_personal_* computing brung them to the dance. I liked the menu where it was. *_Removing_* choices is not "progress." The most ridiculous of the "improvements" made by M$ circa Win 10 is the limitation of three "themes" for the colors available in the user display. There were 16 million colors available for any part of the interface in Win 95. We are also finding that the "ribbon" foisted on users with Win 7 is not actually better than the drop-down menu from Windows 3.x. Change for the sake of change is just annoying.

Very informative. How do we access these new updates? Is this windows only or applicable to MAC as well?
It's a big waste of space moving the navigation pane to the left of the screen. It would be nice to move it back to the bottom.
Funny part is Teams is not an option nor is Outlook and option in Teams

I don't seem to have all of the new features. I've updated everything but they all have not shown up yet. Any idea why?
Great video! Is there a way to move back the navigation pane (mail, calendar, people, etc) to the bottom part?
My question too.
@@timdtn1779 I can answer that, go to file, AOptions, Advanced and untick Show Apps in OUtlook. Restart and it is back!!!

TPS Reports -- I'm dying a slow death at my desk
Any idea when this is launching? Been waiting for the org chart app forever! It's not showing on any of our systems.
Are you on Office 365? Will be there on the earlier rolling out customers

Thank you for the update. How do I Reply All with attachments in Outlook?
I don't think we support that feature
Nice updates, especially the different time zones and the Hijiri calendar.
Are suggested times coming back to the desktop calendar?

You need Office 365. Some are fully rolled out, some in Insiders. Will depend where you are located
Thanks for all
How can I get the reaction emoji button on my outlook app for desktop? I have it on my phone on website but the outlook app for desktop.
Are you using Office 365? You need to be a subscriber
Great Office Space references
Thanks you sir.
You should include the “New Outlook” PWA in your feature updated for Outlook as well
Good suggestion
Does this mean no more Outlook Tasks? We're being forced to move to the much simpler To Do?
But what about rules for managers that want to quickly set up to keep track of messages sent an received from employees so messages are easily found for reviews?
Message reactions don't seem to be working for me yet, all the other features are though.
Same here! Do you know why these might not be working? I just did the update.
Me too
how do I get the menu back at the bottom instead of the left side? width space is more important to me then height.
Currently there is a not a way to move it back
@@MikeTholfsen Thanks for the info! Microsoft once again making changes with no thought to past practices, or customers that want to do things their way. Have a GREAT day!
You must revert to the older version of Office 365. which can be installed using the Office 365 Deployment Tool.
I can answer that, go to file, AOptions, Advanced and untick Show Apps in OUtlook. Restart and it is back!!
HOw do you print by category?

One the Web based outlook can you open.pst files?
I would just like it if my outlook would load in Google. I only get the envelope running and it never just loads outlook? Works in Edge, but not google?
Forgot to add that if I hit control, shift, and R it will load in google, but this is a pain to do every time I go into outlook.
thanks sir
there is no send/receive option anymore? Can not find it..
Awesome 😊
Bring back the Journal anf Timeline view!!!

so there is only 2 new changes calendar even, the ribbon is the same and drop down option
What about Onenote? Is there something really new?
Yes, I have a few "New features in OneNote" videos with a TON of new updates. Check them out on my channel
Why doesn't Time Scale allow us to enter the number of minutes we want- and not just MS's ideas? Say, 20 minutes for example.
Are you really super excited to give up your Saturday to go to work?
Absolutely!
First feature: I hate it. I wish I could move the bar back to the bottom. Off to a bad start.
Where is the file button

React to mails with emoji’s. This is not good for imap users. They won’t see that.
Ничего особо нового, на самом деле.
