    Hasn't this been common knowledge for decades now, as well as our government here in the states making sure they have guns through covert actions. They don't count the guns that come from the Mexican military, from Central/South America, from overseas, or the ones who've had their serial numbers removed, so it makes it sound like the US is just dumping firearms into Mexico nonstop.
      Oh, and they are also still finding firearms from the disastrous ATF operation Fast and Furious, where the ATF forced dealers to make sales to traffickers in an attempt to trace them to cartels, literally one of the WORST ATF operations in their history, and that is really saying a lot.

      I'm a little skeptical of this so-called leak. Mexico finally has a president that has the balls to go against US exploitation of Mexican resources by nationalizing those resources. AMLO refused to attend the US hosted "Summit of Americas" because the US refused to invite and include Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua. AMLO refused to support the "US proxy war in Ukraine." After seeing these bold actions by a sitting Mexican president, I figured it would only be a matter of time before a US campaign to "demonize" him would ensue. This is the standard "Motis Operandi" of how the US frames smaller nation leaders that refuse to "fall in line" to our abusive colonial policies. The fact that "Israel" provided the spyware to expose the leaks makes me all the more suspicious.

They're not anyone's friend but their own and they definitely don't need aid. The Palestinians do and, under Trump, UNCHR funding to them was considerably reduced. To me, that's what's important. It's an indictment to the aloof and those who don't pay attention. Also, when I'm writing something, what's important is what I say is important.
      You should never tell people to stop doing something, especially online, it typically has the opposite reaction of them stopping whatever it is you claim to want them to stop.
      It's shocking, well not actually shocking, but telling that the information contained in this video is news to people. It's all right there in front of everyone every day and has been for several decades. One of the reasons the information in this video continues to happen is the same reason that people are shocked when they hear about it.... because no one (or most people) is paying attention. Then, they act or are shocked when the obvious is "revealed" on a news segment.

    • @AbigBuffalo
      @AbigBuffalo 2 года назад

      @@yowsers6475 what’s ironic is you’re telling me I should do something, while telling me I shouldn’t tell people what to do. I’m stating what is and isn’t important to me and. how could I speak for you? It’s as if you’d have to read my statement “that’s not what’s important (to you)”. Does that make sense? What if you read it “that’s not what’s important (to me)” instead, which is where I’m speaking from. Am I allowed my opinion or “should” it just “be obvious” that my priority of importance be the same as yours?
      If we can move past “should-ing” on each other, I think we could spend more time focusing on the issue.
      So if I’m hearing you correctly, spreading this (obvious to you) information on the internet is the reason that people are shocked when they hear about it? I’m feeling a lot of confusion about your statement. Here’s something that might not be obvious to you - people learn things at different points in time. You’re describing their experience as “shocked” which is partially true and partially untrue because you can’t speak in behalf of everyone’s emotional response with this content. Some might feel grateful for learning. Some might feel just like you do, whatever it is you’re feeling I’m not sure.
      I can respect that you find your opinions important. But my boundary is having the right to do the same without the person I’m talking to playing victim to me sharing my opinion then trying to manipulate me into some internet code of ethics they whipped up in defense of their emotions.
      Hope you find room in your life to make space for other people having their own experience, which to me is the pattern of this whole thread. Bye bye!

    This is why I stopped listening to Democracy Now. Truly uninformed and false. On the gravest note, under AMLO’s investigation into the disapperance of the 43 students, the ex-federal attorney general & a current general amongst others were arrested. Also, a top official involved in the 43 students’ disapperance is in Israel and the Mexican gov’t has asked for his arrest & extradition. AMLO has held a daily press conference daily since being in office. I watch everyday and have witnessed Mexico’s transformation to a better country. I suggest Amy & Juan Gonzalez attend one of these press conferences and ask him questions directly rather than asking a mouthpiece for Mexico’s ruling class.

That's unfortunate but if Mexico played a bigger role in securing the USA/MEX border a lot of these transnational crimes would be eliminated such as the trafficking of arms into Mexico. Securing the border would drastically slow the flow of drugs into the USA, would make it extremely difficult to traffic arms into Mexico, and if Mexico was serious about combating Cartels they would move to designate their most ruthless Cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations. But Mexico is not serious
