Walt Disney unfreezes himself and walks around the school he envisioned but never got to see.
Thanks to all of the wonderful people from not only character animation but all the different schools who helped out making this in only 4 days!

I love how they pictured Walt's reaction to technology and the animation around it. In the end happy to see a ball drawn on a pieces of paper bouncing. These techniques will never be forgotten. Walt Disney is the reason there are many animators and animated films today.

This is the place I wanna go to. Where I can hone my skills and show people I'm not just a guy who wants to be a simple animator, I wanna be THE animator who will make the world happy and show them how hard we work to give everyone such wonderous animations.

Rainyblues Animation isn’t the only program here. I’m in theater design. I get to take animation courses and institute dance classes, and work on my craft in a non-competitive setting. Animation isn’t the only form of storytelling that impacts people’s lives, and Calarts isn’t the only place to practice it.

Hey, I'd just like to say you do amazing work. How much of what you usually animate uses visual effects? That line is sort of blurred to me.
I like the over all film and concept, but you know that Walt treated his animation staff horribly right?
This is heart-wrenchingly beautiful! I'm sure that Walt is really having these wonderful reactions if his spirit visits Cal Arts, both proud and amazed at the unpredictable ways the art form is evolving, and knowing that he had a big hand in all of it.

The sound design is amazing in this short; the nostalgic Disney theme on piano when he comes out of the freezer gives goosebumps!

אני כבר המון המון זמן חולמת ללמוד אנימציה בcalarts וזה כזה מגניב לראות עוד ישראלי שכבר לומד שם!! השאלה רק: זה לא בעייתי מבחינת הפרש גילאים? כי הרי בישראל צריך לעשות קודם צבא ואמריקאים הולכים ללמוד ישר אחרי התיכון... איך זה עובד?

shai Miller היי! הפרש הגילאים לפעמים מורגש, אבל יש גם סטודנטים שמגיעים טיפה יותר בוגרים (בסביבות גיל 25) וגם עם היותר קטנים הרבה פעמים נוצר חיבור סביב היצירה, ככה שהגיל פחות משחק תפקיד.
