When Marpat was being designed to replace woodland, input from various units was requested. I was told that scout snipers said that more tans in browns should be used with less green. This is a very good idea, but I think there should be more light to medium tan/earth.
It’s not an urban night vision camo. Where did you get that from? UCP was designed with the intent to camouflage the wearer in all seasonal environments.
@@DrFrankenschtein I got it from NATICK LABS the tests are declassified, it has the highest NIR rating out of any camo, I also tested with my PV14, PV30

gray green, sage and khaki would allow it to blend everywhere, the blue gray and white really stick out but ideal for NIR
I fuckin hated ACU. By the COB they were trash, literally. Everything showed up on them. Best thing the army did was scorpion/ocp/multicam.
