Have done the same I take cheap construction workwear pants from Kmart and dye them bushcraft colours like grey/green or brown, with the Rit dyemore synthetic dyes. Much cheaper than spending big $$$ on fjallraven etc. Thank you for sharing, following the instructions to the letter is where most people mess up and blame the product.😊

Rit does have color recipes on their website, pretty sure I've seen one for Coyote.
why the additives? I just boil up some h2o and stir in the dye, sems to work ok.. (?)
