yoga has changed my life. I've always been big in to stretching but being consistent with yoga makes my back.pain go away. it'll still re emerge in the morning but after I do about 10mins, I don't feel it for the rest of the day or maybe if I'm lucky 2-3 days. I appreciate these guides to more challenging poses, to keep me advancing and even get my style points up ;) thanks for taking the time to do these tutorials
I’m so excited🎉 after months of trying and working on it I finally today was able to get into a crow pose! Just Yay! For someone 6’ who weighs 250 pounds I feel that’s a pretty big accomplishment. It took some daily practice to get my hips mobile enough to be able to get there and like she said in the video some core work and I’ve still got to work on holding it longer… But I’m just happy to have been able to get in it and hold it for 10 or15 seconds at this point at this weight.
Dear Charlie l look to all your short videos and you, as always, explain everything in a wonderful way in a very, very short time, good job! GOD BLESS YOU. Cecilia
Thanks Charlie - I tried crow pose for the first time earlier this week, but I struggled to get my knees above my elbows. Hopefully what you have demonstrated will enable me to fill in the gaps.
I just stumbled upon your video. It's very well.laod down. I have been very interested to do the crow pose since the last 3 months. Had multiple wrist and head injuries yet my wish didn't die. This video seems very promising. I started from today. I reply this comment when I am successful.
Thank you so much I was able to hold this pose right away for a few seconds... ( before that my hand would always slip and i wouldn't be able to hold this pose at all.. )
I use your videos for my yoga routine! It was really awesome and your deliverence are really clear and peaceful, i love you. For the wrist, i think i did it wrong, but everytime i try to transfer the weight forward, it hurts bad. Is there any suggestion for it? Much love from Indonesia, Charlie ❤
This used to happen to me too when I was first starting. There isn’t anything wrong if this is happening to you, unfortunately it’s one of the down sides of learning. Over time as you get stronger and more familiar with the pose you will press the floor away and sink less weight into your arms and the bruising won’t happen as much.
Something I’ve wondered is how to adapt poses when your proportions are different than “normal”. I have very long legs and so I actually cannot get my knees into my armpit as is typical. I can only cheat them to the outside of my arms. Is this wrong?
My left arm on the back underneath. I have done crow pose my whole life as a kid I learned in gymnastic. But I put my knees just above my elbows and had a very wide knee splay out. I’ve learned the more sleek crow with elbows in. Knees hip width BUT WHAT DO I DO ABOUT MY LEFT KNEE PULLING MY SUPER SOFT STILL LOOSE SKIN FROM SWELLING 2 years ago during and after pregnancy, feels like I’m tearing it off with a knife. I’ve tried to adjust in my armpit area but I have to put my knee about 2 in above my elbow on one side. I’m still straight and balanced.
Sure. The physical benefits of crow pose are increased strength, balance and body awareness. The mental benefits are a sense of achievement and increased confidence
Up in the air, the aim is to try to stack as much weight over your hands as your can so by bringing your hips up you do this. Also with the hips down that’s extra weight that’s going to drag you back which will make it so much harder to stay balanced.
Hi Charlie, I' ve tried many times to enter in this pose but I feel pain when I put the knees inside the arms, so I have to stop Just in the Moment when I lift the feet because I can't resist. How can I found a way more comfortable?... thanks for your suggest. Have a nice weekend. Ciao da Laura 🤗😘
Hey Laura are you placing your knees inside your arms or on the backs of your arms? The inside of your arms are very sensitive however the backs of the arms are a little more robust. Try resting your knees just above the backs if your elbows, this way there is bone resting on bone which is much more stable and will hopefully be more comfortable for you.
I love this specific prep for poses. Thank you.
Thank you Leslie I’m glad you enjoy the prep videos

How do you not hurt your upper arms when pressing your knees into them? I am really close but I keep bruising my arms

Nice 😍😍😍😍

Hey I strongly believe that there is no wrong way if that's the way that is best for your body. Placing the knees on the outer arms is perfectly fine.
Really it’s helps for practitioners,,
Thank you
😍
Did it for the first time today
I just did this crow pose for 30 seconds. I never do yoga, but I saw this as a challenge and was able to do it easy peasy.
Crow is a "show-off" asana. Everyone thinks is very difficult but it is just about balance and once you have it, its easy. But it looks awesome^^
Not really only about balance. It’s hurts the triceps when the knees are pressing and not everyone can do that
I didn't know yoga needed that much arm strenght. I dont have any😅

Hi mam...how to train dis pose to my 5yrs old kid? She's very good in yoga...
I can do crow pose, it’s the other poses that pose a problem
Wow ❤
My arm hurts from that what do i do?
Mam i am learning calesthenics so are there some best core exercises you can recomend to me
How long should we hold poses/repeat moves?
My knees hurt my hands, what should i do?
It litterally feels llike my knees are drilling into my arms when i do this. What am i doing wrong?
Any suggestions for a belly that's in the way,I'm also struggling to step forward.
Strangely i've always been able to do the crow pose even though i don't have much core and arm strength😅
Can you please tell what is the measurement of the hands and the toes when one tries to do crow pose?? How far should it be from each other?
❤
Before starting this Core to be engaged ?
Ga kuat tangannya nahan kaki😁😁
Thanks very much ..your videos are really great and helpful. ! love all of your videos and it’s making a difference in my life . 🫶
Thank you so much I am happy my videos are having an impact
🙏
i still don,t know how do do it
Can u explain the benefit of these pose ?!
Sure. The physical benefits of crow pose are increased strength, balance and body awareness. The mental benefits are a sense of achievement and increased confidence
How should the hips be when you are in the pose? Up in the air or down towards the floor?
Up in the air, the aim is to try to stack as much weight over your hands as your can so by bringing your hips up you do this. Also with the hips down that’s extra weight that’s going to drag you back which will make it so much harder to stay balanced.

I'm cannt😢
😃👍🏻
Never turn your head during crow pose.
Why??
You dont need to do all of that all you need to do is grip your hands to the floor correctly.
