    i found it easier to blend the skin line from top down, gradually closing the lever. Less mistakes.

      I was having the same issues. The biggest thing that a lot of barbers doing these tutorials is that don’t mention is that your machines be to be tuned. I use the Wahl seniors and they wouldn’t zero gap completely and it wouldn’t give me the same results even if you follow the step by step on the video. Another thing is different hair textures and density can make it hard to try and copy what he’s doing because the results won’t be the same

    Thomas!! Where should you stand at your station as far as the light is concerned? Like I have one bright light and I am right handed. I have it shining over my left shoulder but feel like I cover the light with my body sometimes. Hope the question makes sense 😅

      That makes sense, thanks for the question. I actually use 3 lights. One over my right shoulder at an angle. I also have two other lights above the chair on the right and left hand sides to get rid of the shadows. It may be helpful to google 3-point lighting to give you an idea on where you want to put the lights. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for a tutorial on a realistic, everyday client. Sick of fading tutorials on the most ideal, thick and dense haired clients that they've specifically hand chosen to use.

    The way you teach we see something different if we watch one video after video the guards you use to fade it's not the one you use in another video it's hard to learn from you .can you please take one method style to teach us in all videos you do .🙏

    • @BarberStyleDirectory
      @BarberStyleDirectory  Год назад +1

      I show different methods in different videos to show that there is more than one way to get the same results. I'd recommend choosing the method that you like and stick to that until you have it down packed. Hope that helps!
