Super Pave hasn't proven to be a better alternative over the Marshall Mix. Till this day, nothing can defeat the king of Asphalt Paving on Highways, called DFC, Dense Friction Coarse, that's based on Trap Rock via the Marshall Mix. Not only does DFC cost cheaper over Super Pave, it also lasts A LOT longer. MTO made an error for adopting Super Pave many years ago. That move drove up costs over 40%, and now they have to re-surface these Super Pave Highways a lot more.
