In 2017, I was ripped, but now I gained 15 Kgs. I just created my own meals/macros seeing your vlog. Thank you so much Sahil for inspiring the world :)
You can achieve incredible amounts of success in life, but that face you had when you talked about the ice cream shake, the excitement, that's kid-like joy right there 👌gonna have to make one of these soon.
Dude this was super solid and clear cut advice, new to the “hybrid” style of training and this definitely cleared up some things I was trying to fine tune in my diet. Definitely agree as far as the gels go to, completely screws my metabolism and always prefer whole foods Foods. Great content!!
Love your video. Followed you on linkedin, then subscribed the mail list but seldomly read as i’m a bit lazy, so video work very well for me. Pls keep posting. You are an inspiration!
Loved your advices!!! Everything you said is absolutely true I am a health freak and love to work towards constantly enhancing my diet and lifestyle. 1 thing i feel is missing from your food is intake of ginger, turmeric and Indian spices like ajwain, methi etc. which are incredible for high metabolism, gut and good health
Interesting vid! Some fruit, but very few vegetables in this diet - I would look at this for further optimisation, as you likely need more fibre for regulation of blood glucose, optimal digestion, and longevity.
As always, great content Sahil. One of, if not the best, creators out there. Practical and clear concepts that we can all adopt. Love your Instagram feed…but this longer type of content on the Tube is awesome. Thanks!
Sahil, loved this … really well composed and documented without any flashing bells and whistles!! Completely agree with principals… one thing I would say is always to bring an emergency gel in secret pocket - that way it keeps the brain from any potential worry! Great work James 🇬🇧
I basically stick to it ~6.5 out of 7 days a week. I enjoy myself on Saturday afternoon and evening. The protein ice cream is definitely something I consider a treat, I don't eat it every night. I also love pizza (usually homemade since I love making it) and cheeseburgers/fries.
Good video. I also do hybrid training (weight lifting, sprint and kick boxing) with intermittent fasting. But I see you have not mentioned strength training and specific legs training. Do you follow any specific legs training? Will defintely try this protein ice cream recepie at home.
over the last 12 months i’ve had about 7-18 eggs a day with some Indian curries, all cooked in ghee. Physical and mental game has transformed radically. thank you Sahil for sharing your routine. Love how cool you are about your intense routines! - Harsh
Great advice! Do you have any recommended snacks and/or to-go meals you like when you may not have the time to cook every meal? Roman is the star of the show!
When I travel, I always try to carry some nuts (cashews/macadamia) and protein sticks (I like the venison sticks from Maui Nut, but plenty of other options with no preservatives/chemicals). If I need to eat out for a quick bite, usually I go for a make your own salad or bowl place.
Nice, simple, repeatable routine. What time is lights out every night? Curious about how long you have been consistently waking up early and what your thoughts are on sleep efficiency vs sleep duration?
I am basically asleep by ~830 and awake by ~430 every day. If I fall asleep earlier, my body pretty naturally gets me up earlier. I normally sleep later on Sundays (assuming my toddler allows it), say until 6am or so. My son is asleep by 7ish and my wife and I are both early to bed types, so it works well for our lifestyle and schedule. Also means when I do work meeting dinners, I do them at 530 or so. Means I can get home and get to bed at a reasonable hour. When I was younger, I sacrificed sleep to wake up early, now I just build it into my schedule to make sure I get my 8.
How do you manage to wake up so early every day? Is this something which you are doing for a long time? Looks that everybody on YT is waking up at 5am. Enjoyed the content and thx for sharing.
I think a lot of people just talk about it because it sounds sexy - I just do it because I feel most focused in the morning. I like going to bed early and waking up early because the mornings are peaceful. If it doesn't suit your energy flows, don't do it.
Ever since I bought the Ninja creami in July, Its been a huge hit in my household. My parents got one too. Game changer. I even do half almond milk and half fairlife and save like 90 calories, and still tastes amazing
My favorite coffee is Starbucks! They know me.! I just found your channel! Thank you for sharing! I used to run up to 17 miles ! Did all races! Then I got bad arthritis in my hip! I needed surgery!
I like the idea of "focusing" your carbs in and around the workout but one issue I run into is that when trying to bulk I sometimes miss a meal and end up having to fit in a large amount of carbs in near bedtime to hit my calorie goal (i.e. big bowl of pasta/meat/greens an hour or so before bed ~1,200 cals). Do you think it is better to just be in a deficit for the day or is it worth risking the carbs being converted to fat? Really enjoyed the video thanks!
can't ever be in deficit if you want to bulk - you're going to gain fat while bulking, just part of it. Idea of a perfectly clean bulk is really impossible for most people (assuming not perfectly genetically gifted, which I'm not).
I love the simplicity of your meals. I want to start a whole30 to wean off my trigger foods which are bread/pasta and cheese. I just have a very hard time with moderation on these foods. I do however want to include rice into the whole30 because i do not overeat on it and it will help me keep on track. I noticed that you do not use spices or other condiments for your meals. Is this intentional or just practical? I found this video very inspiring - just focusing on whole foods prepared in a simple manner. Please share more of these❤❤❤
Glad you found it helpful. I don't cook with spices, but I do like putting sriracha on my food for the added kick that I enjoy. In general, if you're getting enough protein, you'll find not overeating on other foods becomes much easier!
great content as always. I think if you used the same thumbnail format as your "The System That Will Change Your Life" thumbnail you're going to attract more views and clicks. This thumbnail was slightly confusing to the content that is included in the video. Hope you don't mind the feedback, rooting for you on RUclips!
Wow - what a breakfast before running. I could never do that. Back in the day I would do just a Powerbar. Old school type. My best times under 16 minutes for 3 miles. Marathon 3.24. This was around 1995. Yes I am old now.
how long before bed do you eat your last meal? and how many grams of protein and fat would you say is too much for one sitting (have heard 60g+ protein, etc.). Thanks!
Probably 90 minutes before I fall asleep. I don’t think the science is clear that there’s a limit that low. I’ve never had an issue eating 100g of protein in a meal if I need it to hit my daily goals.
More like this. But consider a vlog about your biz and work - tools hacks etc and always include affiliate links so you can get that 56¢ commission from the Ninja Creami I just bought Thanks to you 😂😂😂
haha awesome glad you bought it - it's great. No need to make money off it, happy to just share the value! Will definitely do a vlog on business and work stuff
Have tried tons of them. Eat Clean Bro has solid basics that we like. Trying Redefine Meals now. Local ones are better than national IMO since food is fresh. No affiliation with any of them fyi.
Yes, 4:15 every day other than Sunday, when I normally sleep to about 6am. I go to bed usually at 8pm (like an 80-year-old man). Sometimes I sleep a bit later if I was out late for a social function or dinner, always make sure I'm getting 7+ hours when I can control it.
No social life lol! To be honest, in my 30s, everything is about saying NO to more things so that I can say YES to the things that really matter to me (family, a few close friends, health, business).
In 2017, I was ripped, but now I gained 15 Kgs. I just created my own meals/macros seeing your vlog. Thank you so much Sahil for inspiring the world :)
Hell ya fires me up. Have a new one coming soon with more detail and better.
It’s really refreshing to find someone who runs to! And sharing there advice
Sahil is going to be on 100k+ subs by year end. Incredible quality content.
I'm having so much fun with it, hopefully that comes across!
Motivating stuff Sahil. Been following you on Twitter for a while, so cool to see your day-to-day! Thanks for sharing
Thrilled to hear
Would love to see more videos like this. Keep up the good work!

awesome to hear! more to come
What a great video! Sahil, you’re quickly becoming one of my absolute favourite RUclipsrs!
Brand new to it! Just leaning!
You can achieve incredible amounts of success in life, but that face you had when you talked about the ice cream shake, the excitement, that's kid-like joy right there 👌gonna have to make one of these soon.
Ha amen!
The simplicity in your cooking is refreshing
Ya I try to keep it all as easy as possible so that I actually stick to it. Complexity is sexy, but pointless.
@@Sahil_Bloom Keeping simple is the key, one questions majority of the food is coming out from plastic jar/packet, is that not dangerous for health?

Love this video. Particularly love principle 4. Having a 3-4 hour gap between each main meal has been game changing for my gut.
I love the team member who absolutely smashed the editing process.
I love ice cream, can't live without it, going to have to try this recipe for sure
Ok, went out and got the creami and some ingredients let's go
Enjoy
Awesome video, thanks a lot! But man, do you have time for work and other stuff? :))

Smart idea on emergency gel!

also just wanted to thank you for sharing your life. The lessons you live out and share are incredibly helpful and inspiring!

Love the video and food ideas, thank you. But you kind of look like you dont have a lot of muscle, do you mostly run? Or is it on purpose?

How long do you typically wait to run before your pre-workout meal
about an hour typically, sometimes a bit less

truly incredible
You sold that protein ice cream hard!

would love to know what you did when you travelled back home to India!
Great idea. I'll film a vlog of what I eat when I travel on my trip to India in March!

Yep mine stays at 39 year round. Sits outside in icy temps so it’s pretty bad in winter.

What app do you use to track cal/macros?
MyMacros+
So you reply to all comments or there is a theoretical limit ;) ?
not sure, we will see!
Im buying that ninja ice cream machine!
Would love to see how much that day cost in meals.
Good question. I’ll do a follow up breakdown!
Hmmm if u work 9-5, got a dog and kids…how can you still manage all this plus have a social life?
No social life lol! To be honest, in my 30s, everything is about saying NO to more things so that I can say YES to the things that really matter to me (family, a few close friends, health, business).
So you dont take in more carbs before the long run on the low intensity day?
can you clarify the question a bit? I always consume carbs before my runs, just a matter of how much.
Brutal! In my case I eat just 1 per day, and play rugby.
Wow! One big meal? Crazy to me.
are you currently on cut? based on ur activity on this video u burned prob 4-5k cal, or maybe it evens out since ur not running the next day
I don't really "bulk and cut" I just listen to my body and what it needs based on training volumes at different periods
First meal is 668 calories?
This is fine, but what's your age?
33
@@Sahil_Bloom yeah, let's see how all this looks in your 50s. Your age wasn't clear in the post.
