Her Bankai was a total surprise, and it's the most insane Bankai we have ever seen, her calm aura while utilizing her Bankai makes it that much better!!
I believe senjumaru knows uryuu is just waiting for the opportunity to betray the quincys, I noticed that when uryu attacked her she said "how gentle" she probably felt the lack of murderous intent
Have you seen Uryu's part in Senjumarus bankai? He is literally just looking at a Quincy star. I would bet my ass off that squad zero would impart something to Uryu to defeat Yhwach.
I’ve always liked senjumaru since the moment she first appeared in the story. So the love she’s currently getting especially the showing of her bankai i feel is very well deserved
100% agree. It also doesn't hurt that she's very easy on the eye. I might be in a minority in this opinion as she's kinda bizarre looking with her multiple mecha-insectoid limbs, but I guess weird is my thing. 🤣
I think her bankai is literally the three fates from greek mythology that weave the fate of someones life. Theres way too many similarities between what the fates and Senjumaru do with their powers. The fates are said to operate the "loom of life/fate". Even the phrase "your FATE is SEALED" that came from the fates in greek mythology is quite literally what she is doing to them here. Sealing them in fabric and forces them to face their ultimate fate immediately rather than later. But why dont they die from it now or later? Because we know that in cour 3 trailer Uryu probably used his schrift to break out of the ability and uses it to break the schutzstaffel out of theirs which most likely interrupts the bankais ability before Senjumaru is able to sever their "threads of life" like the 3 fates do. Thats why these events still happen but do not ultimately cause their deaths.
cool theory, Senjumaru's bankai does indeed have some similarities to the concept of the three fates from Greek mythology, with the weaving of fate and sealing of destinies. The interruption of Uryu's schrift could explain why the events still occur but don't lead to their deaths. It's an interesting connection to make.
Correct, that's because Buddhism shares a lot of commonalities with the greek myths, those commonalities later transfering over to shinto myths(such as River Styx -> Sanzu River) and so on. The Fates are responsible only for weaving what the universe deems as "destiny" and they are responsible for enforcing it via weaving fate. Thing is, in the myths, individuals have had the chance and the power to break free from their fates and the universal laws and ordinance, time and time again. Ichigo and Uryu are such heroes in this story; even if Uryu is destined to die, he over-turned his fate and weaved a new one for himself. The thing is, so did Haschwalt, being a hero in his own story, wishing to be strong; he did it at the cost of his friend's fate. So did Gerard, creating a miracle and escaping his fate time and time again, somewhat like Siegfried, Achilles and many more heroes before they reached their end, completely different from what was prophesized for them. Same with Pernida; he'd be eaten by Kurotsuchi(via Ashishogi Jizo since Zapakuto=Shinigami) but instead he escapes that fate and he's instead dead from what could only be described as "magical cancer". That and a few fan theories from when the manga ended, regarding Ichigo's "true" power that isn't the passed down Getsuga Tensho; the power to overwrite fate itself, ironically mirroring Uryu's ability, something that ties them closer beyond the blood they faintly share.
I'm really glad Senjumaru was the one Kubo chose to display her bankai. I've always liked her design, and I feel like her expanded role in the TYBW anime allowed her to show off more of her personality as well compared to the manga.
Regarding the idea of Senjumaru's Bankai having the ability to manipulate fate, it makes sense that fire is the thing that seals Jugram's fate. In both the past and the future, fire is tied to what ends up determining the choices Jugram makes. It is a fire that kills his uncle and ties him to both Bazz and Yhwach. And it is his decision to kill Bazz, who embodies fire, that ends up leading to him being killed by Yhwach, as a sacrificial pawn. Which it is implied that he saw when he had the Almighty. Great stuff, that futher adds to the tragic nature of Jugram's story.
Zero Squad's members being so strong that they can damage the stability of the worlds is both symbolic and ironic. The theme of power restriction and restraint is a fairly rare theme in Bleach, with the main goal being to get stronger and stronger. With these ancient warriors it's necessary or else. Overall an epic conclusion to the cour and a surprising one at that. Let's see what 2024 brings.
true, the strength of Zero Squad members having the potential to destabilize the worlds is symbolic and ironic. It adds a unique theme of power restriction and restraint to Bleach, which is usually focused on getting stronger. The conclusion of the cour was epic and surprising. Excited to see what 2024 has in store.
@@Suto_Ko Truth. And that becomes more sinister yet unsurprising with the hell chapter revealing that power equals being cast to hell with Shinigami actions are now leading it to crack open and unleash its horrors.
Power restriction has always been a theme in Bleach though. For one, it's kind of built-in into the Zanpakutos as Shikai and Bankai are a "released" state, therefore the Asauchi is the "sealed" or "restricted" state. As for more specific examples: Kenpachi's eyepatch, Lieutenants and Captains being restricted from using their full power in the real world in the beginning of the Hueco Mundo arc, Espada banned from using their Ceros or activate Resurreccion in Las Noches, Captain class shinigami not wielding swords the size of skyscrapers is also a form of restraint, Kyouraku only receiving 3 keys for Aizen rather than fully releasing him, OMZ restricting Ichigo's true shinigami powers. I'm sure there's more examples like this, but I would not say that the theme for power restriction is rare at all.
Some? Literally ALL power tier lists will need to make room for Squad Zero. And it's not only Senjumaru and her broken bankai, it's also about how Oetsu's superior stats were brilliantly showcased without him using either shikai or bankai.
@cj5476 in the manga it was never "shown" that the zero division was stronger than the goetei 13. In the sou4ce material what was shown gave the impression that the quincy royal guard no diff'd the zero division. Only the light novels (CFYOW and SAFWY) actually gave us a proper power scaling
@@aurelius9026no one’s comparing the zero division and royal guards were talking about the zero division compared to gotei 13, and gotei 13 didn’t kill the elite sternritters without outside help and one royal guard took out all the elites. That says it right there. None of the gotei 13 took out any weaker sternritters without trouble
This is where Kubo originally wanted to go with Squad 0. Now I can't help but wonder what if the other 3 sacrifice themselves so Nimaya, Hikufune and Kirinji can use Bankai. It would also shake the worlds. Maybe this is another reason why the gates of hell opened. Enormous reitsu from outside and inside shok the balance.
They all can use Bankai. It was literally stated when Senjumaru spoke about the blood oath seal. In order for one to use it, the others have to sacrifice themselves to break the seal.
interesting theory, Sacrificing the other three members of Squad 0 to unlock their Bankai could indeed shake the worlds and potentially have an impact on the balance of power. The opening of the gates of hell could be a result of the immense reiatsu from both outside and inside sources.
@@Suto_Ko at the beginning of TYBW the balance of the worlds was already shaking when the Quincies erased a lot of hollows. This earthquake made people of the living world wonder. In the novels people in the living world were aware that something was off and started creating theories and new religious groups. Remember how Mayuri had to kill a lot of rukongai residents because the balance was disturbed? The massive reitsu of the deceased captains and hollows were by far not enough. Sayelaporro said that power comes with a price. The main cast desperately needed to get stronger in to win the blood warfare. But the consequences were unforeseeable. Yhwach is sealed off in the highest place of Soul society. Aizen is sealed off in the deepest place of Soul society. I highly doubt that Ichigo is able to hold the balance consciously or unconsciously.
Actually, I really dig this interpretation. I always thought since she was called the 'great weaver' that her true powers were to be able to 'weave the fabric of reality'. It would be soooooo dope that she sealed the fates of the Schutzstaffel even (if) after she is defeated. That would be even more redemption for the zero division, on top of giving them significantly more plot relevance rather than simply being godlike beings. Yeah, the more I think about how this has all be handled in the Anime, the more brilliant it is.
I think her bankai not only giving her immense power, it also grant her power of observation and analyzation to figure it out how to many ways of defeating her enemy and sealed their fate on how they will be defeat. She can either directly defeat you or put a mark of your upcoming defeat.
The theory you came up with is sooooo good ! I mean it represents very well how Kubo sensei writes his stories : 1st layer you understand the power because the worlds tremble. 2nd layer her power is to trap people in her tapisseries. 3rd layer the trap is made based on the very weakness of the godly kind of powers the Shutstaffle wields. 4th layer senjumaru is not taking inspiration from what will happen, she is make happens what she feel is the best to defeat her opponents. This goes even further since with what we deduced, I could see how Uryu seems to be the one who will get out of the bankai. Indeed, as he will escape his fate durting his final draw with Ywach, he will escape the tapissery using the antithesis ! Because unlike with the 5 other sterns, the counnter she came up with Uryu is not perfect. In fact, she targeted his ability to gather reishi thinking it will be enough. HOWEVER, we saw in the cage of life (where it was so hard for him to gather reishi) that he is perfectly able use the antithesis in such conditions since he made Ywa escape the cage. And this is soooooo interesting because it proves that this is not just plot armor plaing out. With this kind of detals, we can understant that as world shattering as her power may be, her power is still the subject of limitation, it is not something you turn on to let it do its magical outcome. No. It has to do with the talent of Senjumaru to see the weakness attached to each and every sterritter. This is awesome, thaks kubo for making your story even richer, and thanks DBZimran to connect some of the dots for us.
My most favourite utterance of *BANKAI* was Byakuya’s - until I heard Senjumaru say it. Truly chilling. The cadence the intonation with which she says *BAN.KAI* is that of an absolute disregard, and an uttern contemptuous disdain for those she is about to extinguish. One of the aspects that has constantly fasscinated me THE MOST throughout Bleach saga (anime) is how each bearer says *Bankai* in his or her own signature way which is unique to that bearer, and the way how any one of them utters it, mimics none other. Truly awesome! *BAN.KAI*
totally agree, Senjumaru's delivery of "BAN.KAI" is absolutely chilling, showcasing her contemptuous disdain. The unique way each character says Bankai adds a fascinating layer to Bleach's saga.
Plus, the fact that it was a total surprise really made it so much better. Going into the episode, at no point was I thinking "ok, here comes a new squad zero bankai".
Senjumaru monmy is hilarious and accurate. My theory on her Bankai was it represented a portion of the eighteen Naraka of Buddhism. Especially considering the hot and cold references as well as the black sand. (which were described by Buddha) Not to mention, her six arms are the biggest giveaway since Buddhist Deities love to have more than just a single set of arms.
The fact they made a whole new bankai for the anime, give me hope that they gonna show us ichigo's true bankai and what can it do. Even if yhwach stills gonna break it,at least show to us from yhwach's perspective. Because that shit must be really strong to make a beign that can see and change the future so afraid of it,that he didn't let ichigo use at full potential.(sorry my english is bad)
Really concise and clear breakdown. Detailed and in depth. I’m glad you made a video about this before anyone else. You should do a video comparing the strength of Byakuya, Toshiro, Renji, and Rukia at the end of TYBW. They all undergo big power ups that put them on their own level and I think they are all close enough to compare.
This is my interpretation of Senjumaru's Bankai: FIRST, (1) It shows what specific action/event they did in the past and will do in the future that will lead to their eventual death/demise. And then, (2) it foresees how each Schutzstaffel best effectively dies or is weakened in the future. A complete foresight of each Schutzstaffel's fates based on the best possible outcomes in the future and based from their past and future actions (Something that Ywhach, despite his Almighty's ability to foresee every possible Future Outcome, is unable to change which will lead him to use Auswählen anyway.) SECOND, her Bankai predetermines the best time/event for each Schutzstaffel's death/demise, something that seems to assign the events in the best possible time along with the best match-ups to come against the Captain-level Shinigamis they're going to face. (Still going with the idea as Senjumaru being the Great Weaver, weaving everyone's fates in her favor.) AND LASTLY, Senjumaru ensures that their fates are sealed and that whatever foresight generated and 'tapestries'/'hanks' she already weaved cannot be reversed or changed in the future. (This I think fixes the reason why Overpowered Schutzstaffels will lose to Captain Rank Shinigamis, even with Ywhach's influence). This also makes sure that when the Schutzstaffel loses in cour 3, it won't seem like it's Plot armor and instead would look like an omnipotent force of ensured Fate as weaved by Senjumaru (sticking to the idea that the Squad Zero is indeed capable of this feat). So it's just her 1. Designing the fates and pulling the suitable threads to use. 2. Weaving everyone's threads of fates together to her liking. and 3. Her cutting the thread and finalizing the hanks/cloths of interweaved fates. Which means that even if she won't kill the Schutzstaffel now, doesn't mean she didn't influence the outcome of their future. In relation to the Cour 3 Trailer with Uryu being her final opponent, (and assuming I guessed Senjumaru's Bankai correctly) it could be that he activates Antithesis to reverse the effects of her Bankai and turn it against her, weaving her most fitting death at the most fitting time while sealing it permanently. This should turn the tides and be a great plot progression as to how Senjumaru/Squad Zero is defeated by Uryu and then, simultaneously during Ichibe's and Ywhach's battle, Ywhach awakens the Almighty and revives the defeated Schutzstaffels. (Yeah call me crazy with all these speculations 😂) But you know, it's just my interpretation. I'm just excited to watch what will happen to Cour 3. Who knows, she might explain her Bankai too just like the other Captains. 😅
I was thinking in Jugram's case, it is him regretting to having killed Bazz B, and remembering what as kids they had originally planned to do: kill Yhwach. We also know that Jugram sends Yhwach a dream which eventually leads to his downfall. I feel in the anime, it will play like Senjumaru setup Jugram to bring down Yhwach. Considering Jugram is Yhwach's right hand man, it would be right to do this The reverse is true for Uryu, where he reverses his fate which results in Senjumaru's Bankai failing, and also possibly setting up Yhwach's defeat
so Jugram's reason of downfall is Guilt. I am not sure about how they break out of her bankai though. Probably yhwach does something . Uryu might help them escape but they won't be able to defeat her as they might be injured from her bankai. That is what puzzles me though. will their injury carry over to the real world because if not then what's the point of her bankai. since uryu is the only one not injured he probably will help them escape and they retreat for the time being.
cool theory, Jugram regretting killing Bazz B and working against Yhwach, as well as Uryu reversing his fate and potentially setting up Yhwach's defeat, would add an interesting twist to the story. Can't wait to see how it unfolds in the anime.
I personally like to think that her arms act akin to the sheath of the zanpaktou. O-etsu said that a sword w/out a sheath can't be called a proper sword so it might make sense if her arms act like that given that her "sword" takes the form of a needle. This is only my speculation given what we learn about zanpaktou thanks to O-etsu's dialogue regarding swords. Now to speculate on the bankai of the rest of Squad Zero, hopefully Kubo will be charitable and at least tell/explain it to us like Shuhei before CFYOW was made
I think her Zanpakutou is similar to Ichigo's Zangetsu(s) where they are all in their Shikai state, readily. So I think both the needle and the arms are her zanpakutou in a set. In these cases, they don't need sheath. Therefore, it makes sense why her arms are missing when she activates her bankai.
This makes me question one thing when a shinigami becomes members of the royal guard do the member's zanpakto sword form change into an object like weapon
Her bankai has the ability to seek the opponent's emotional and physical weakness thru time. Absolutely busted power, foreshadowing how the 4 royal guards will die
I like To think that her bankai takes the idea of a tapestry by historical idea to the max. Tapestry's notoriously are meant to not only be a record of history but a potential fate through destiny. So her Tapestry's are based on each person, as a prediction technique but with the infusion of more of her reishi, the more she can read into there fate, and weave the yarn that beats them, to a degree. Weird in effect, but insane in application. Like tarote cards but in fabric
DBZImran, im not sure if all the western people has this knowledge, the fascinating things about the thump and rattle is not just enchantment . it is the sound Japanese people use to refer to that old wooden sewing machine, more specific are those old old old silk weaver sound. if you guys ever visit a weaving museum in Japan. it does create that kinda sound. and since Senjumaru is old this bankai felt really ancient and portrayed her from that ancient period of time. its super cool
I didn’t know that. That is so cool. I just thought that Senjumaru was trying to be scary and frightening to the Shutzstaffel. I would’ve never guessed it was not only an enchantment but the sound of an old Japanese sewing machine. Very cool, good stuff. Thank you!
Well said. Your argument had me feeling different emotions whilst hearing your level of depiction over the source material. Your translations are awesome. Thank you for what you do I always have your videos on when I’m designing interiors. Because if I can explain my concepts like you do Bleach I’m ok.
I like the difference in the confidence between the three that sacrificed themselves. The only confident one was Oh-etsu. He only used one hand on his blade. Tanjiro seems the least confident due to his hand positioning.
she reminds me of arachnia from greek mythology "and in and out of the fabric, that was stretched across the loom the sins and the secrets of the gods were shown"
Before, i thought Kisuke's bankai was the most OP and broken among all thr bankai in the series, until Senjumarus performance, i knew from the very beginning that there is something odd or should i say haunting about this woman... And she delivers
Good video, her shika is always active and it allows her to weave the "fabrics" of reality. This is why she can heal and do pretty much anything in her shikai. Her bankai takes it a step further and allows her to not only weave the threads of Fate but also read the threads of Fate. She cna understand everything about her opponents and their lives. Her goals wanst the defeat or death or the quincy but rather the protection of the royal palace and 3 worlds. She weaved fate to bring this to be.
you see how badly the shaking is from just Senjumaru using her bankai, now imagine without the restriction all four of them doing bankai at the same time.
I agree what you saying. Zero Squad got redemptions in anime. The Bankai was something we did not expected. So well designed. This is like infinity loop of their fate and they are trapped until someone’s saves them.
I Love The Fact That You Used Mysterious In The BackGround, Always Felt Like That Was Such An UnderRated SoundTrack 🥲 And Thie Vid Was Nothing Short Of Amazing 🖤
I also find it quite interesting that the pattern in Ishida’s room changes, and shows the star absorbing the black tendrils after the scene where Yhwach proclaims that Ichibe’s black is now his power. In that sense, it might forshadow that the cross is supposed to be Ishida, since the design is very close to the Pendant he’s been using, and having him be destined to seal Yhwach’s power. Also, one interesting scene in her fight with Gerard is where she tries to pierce his heart, and he’s supposedly the Heart of the Soul King. I guess that’s why she was surprised.
Who better than a weaver to guide the thread of the enemy's demise? Plus her tapestries are really beautiful. Reminds me of hanafuda card arts somewhat.
To add more to that in the case of where Senjumaru herself is concerned, it looks to me that, with her immense levels of psychic powers and the powers of her Bankai itself, she is able to peer into the future, foresee and foretell the demise of her targets to then stitch together a pocket of space weaving the foreseen death of her victims into the chosen cloth and the natural power of Bankai acts as a ‘reality-creator’ basically creating the area of space for the target(s) to meet their end. Senjumaru looks into the future to see the death and her Bankai makes it happen.
@@thewanderingartists wait, what!? i do not wish for her to die 😢. wtf that is just like Kubo to introduce this outstanding power only to cruelly rip it from our hands. her Bankai is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen, the possibilities for it are endless. imagine if she comes out with the unraveling of a seventh hank calling it the Pit of Burning Lava and then saying… reduced to a melted puddle, you are now one with the Earth or an eight hank calling it the House of Horrors and then saying… frightened by the ghosts inside, you die from the shock or some scary shit like that. if she dies i’m upset such power gone to waste -.-“
@@hello-mt3be in the manga all those characters survive as the squad 0 is wiped out, and the new teaser shows Uryu so that's clear she's gonna die. It is hinted in the manga that if anyone member of squad 0 calls any other member's name they will come back to life.
One of the method Kurotsuchi utilized i defeating\countering Pernida is with a modified version of Ashisogi Jizou. One that has 10,000 layers of epidermis with its nerves exposed on its surface. That Ashisogi Jizou ate pernida and in its stomach is unable to escape. Just like being swallowed up like quicksand.
From the other Bankai that have these types of reality warping effects, Kisuke/Shunsui/Kaname to an extent/some others, they just affect the physical environment. Senjumaru’s more akin to a domain expansion- a pocket dimension that the user is able to essentially alter reality. This is the sort of thing that is much more esoteric than what we’re used to.
You see a persons Bankai has an attitude of their own, and requirements that have to be fulfilled by the user. Their are conditions that a person MUST be willing to go through to truly be one with their Bankai. Rukia's bankai for example, she has to be able to survive... being dead because her Bankai makes everything absolute zero temp. Now think about it for a moment... If Rukia could some how be able to move around while being absolute zero temperature, she should/would have even MORE control over her Bankai. Heck, she would appear to have matter manipulation on some level. Her Bankai would be equal to a Zero Squads member. This is the type of commitment needed for one to truly master their true sword. Senjumaru Shutara's 'golden arms' is, imho, what she had to do to truly 'commit' to her swords conditions. manifestation
Commitment. Yess. Once a soul reaper has immense levels of commitment to their swords they can achieve greater heights in their own powers. With Shatatsu Shigarami No Tsuji Senjumaru had many years to commit to learning the inner workings and techniques of her sword. With immense commitment to the learning of her sword Senjumaru is able to manifest her very own dimension with a giant golden loom which she uses to bind off and release the cloth to weave the fate of her opponent into the chosen cloth. It seems simple enough when you think about it, but it must have took years for Senjumaru to master the Bankai into having that affect on reality.
Could she beat kratos? 19:35 and because of the cour 3 trailer we know he’ll get out of the bankai somehow and that will be foreshadowing for when he uses the arrowhead on yhwach. This is a VERY scary bankai! Do you think you can make a black clover video?
All the squad zero members have most likely surpassed the boundaries of a normal shinigami. They are all mostly in a constant release shikai state except Oetsu
Off topic but what's Kirinji's release command? From what I saw in the episode, the Heavenly Flash seems to be a technique and the one about sunbathing seems to be the command. But the wiki doesn't seem to think so and I'm a bit confused
The water guy seems to have abilities revolving around red and white blood cells and the immunity system. While mama royal guard seems to be focused on life, birth and nurturing.
I understand why they forced Kubo to cut this because her Bankai would’ve taken up at least a whole chapter and would’ve been a nightmare to draw and panel effectively
it's crazy to think that Kubo wanted to make TYBW 10+ years long in manga form.. now idk if he's actually going to do that in the anime but the fact that almost 4 years worth of content is already adapted in 2 cours means that Kubo is cooking up something special for himself & all of us
Something that has been bothering me is did the mad man Kubo make Senjumaru like the Three Fates from Greek mythology? The yarn, an abundance of "3's", the 3 pairs of arms (like 3 people coming together), and her talking about fate more than once within her Bankai? Then you sealed it: the exposure of foreshadowing to pretty much each character.
None of the SS, Uryu or Haschwalth were at their strongest and literally none of them have been beaten by this Bankai. They're all shown as alive and kicking.
if things immediately get turned around in the first 3 episodes on cour 3, when they go all out i already see some people being furiously acting surprised.
The 4 royal guards were probably killed again for a all we know but it looks like uryu and jugram were treated differently by the bankai, course 3 preview makes it seem like at uryu wasn't outright affected by it, most likely because of how ability
cool, so it seems like none of the Soul Society members, Uryu, or Haschwalth were at their strongest during the encounter with Senjumaru's Bankai, and they're all still alive and kicking.
I mean what I think would happen is Uryu uses the Antithesis to switch between himself and Senjumaru, since (spoiler) Uryu didn't end up being killed by the quincy, given that Senjumaru's bankai seals the fate of her enemy, whether it's her killing them right there or not. And ofc, there's always the miracle ability, and also the balance.
This is the dbzirman i subd too =] solid video good sir. I felt the passion. I gotta say Senju just fought her way into the Waifu arena and she is knockin people out! Her Bankai is just too dope. Shinjis bankai still "sounds" the best.(must listen with good speakers)I still get goosebumps from it.
in my opinion from what I understand what her bankai might do is that instead of predicting the future of her opponents' inevitable dooms it actually weaves (kinda like writing what will happen to them almost like a curse) the outcome she wants therefore weaving a story that she is the writer of in summary it can weave story in the fabric of her opponent's fate
So o Hashwalth VS Ishida perhaps this time around Bazz-B doesn't stay on the ground and trys to burn Hashwalth to nothing wich Hashwalth reverses on hin through the Balance then Ishida could reverse the outcome later on with Antithesis ? imo this would play out perfectly but i don't know if Bazz-B will survive because i don't think that Kubo will give a protagonist such a broken ability when he already has Orihime to deal with when he wants to permanently kill a character
25:28 It might be a perfect blade, but it's a failure as a Zanpakutō since no sheath can contain it. This actually explains explicitely that a Zanpakutō is both the blade AND the scabbard.
Look into the ancient myth of "fateweavers" in history. in many culture, the symbolism of that is rather omnious to what she really is meant to represent. Ichigo would probably not give a flying damn about it lol
Wow, great analysis. I think your video essay explains a lot why it was Senjumaru who was picked exclusively by the other royal guards to release her bankai. Considering her mysterious character, she's the only one that could have that kind of power. It would be a little bit out of character if the other squad zero release fate-altering bankai like this; Kirinji is a healer and has hotheaded personality. His bankai probably would be a healing/life-shaving type. Nimaiya is a fighter. His bankai is likely a fighting-based like squad 11. Kirio is a cook. Her bankai is likely some kind of power nourishment. So the squad zero gave their lives for her to ensure Schutstaffel's downfall if it's really a reality-altering. If even Yhwach lost his fight against Hyosube, the schutstaffel is still a big threat.
Was I the only one thinking about the fate sisters in old Ancient Greek mythology. They would literally weave the future. I was thinking she was weaving the fate of her enemies or maybe it’s the other way around.
Her triple realm trembling power is a television with future sight. So it tries to kill them with a specific thing and if they survive they die by that thing anyways. That way its pretty cool.
Expert analysis. Two things are certain: Loyal manga readers have had our minds blown and we cannot rely on our knowledge of the manga to predict the occurrence of events to come. Bleach lore is being introduced to us that both answers questions and cause more.
Medieval kings in Europe often had tapestries made of events in their lives. And she is a tailor to royalty (Soul King) She is literally crafting events in their lives.
Her Bankai was a total surprise, and it's the most insane Bankai we have ever seen, her calm aura while utilizing her Bankai makes it that much better!!
Hold your horses hahaha, we haven't seen aizen's yet.
And we won't
her bankai was a total surprise, and her calm aura while using it is impressive.
Shes actually like a Kill La Kill villain but in a good way
@@Nightslayer000 Yeah you're right I should've said it's most insane one we've seen yet, but chances are we will never see Aizen's bankai...
I believe senjumaru knows uryuu is just waiting for the opportunity to betray the quincys, I noticed that when uryu attacked her she said "how gentle" she probably felt the lack of murderous intent
That's a very interesting analogy
I can vibe with that 🤔🤔
Well, his ability works best if he doesn't damage his opponent at all.
Or it could be that his attacks were underwhelming to her. The trees were absorbing his reishi, making his attacks weaker. 👍
Have you seen Uryu's part in Senjumarus bankai? He is literally just looking at a Quincy star. I would bet my ass off that squad zero would impart something to Uryu to defeat Yhwach.
Her ability/shikai to weave or sew anything, to then her Bankai being weaving her opponent's fate is genius honestly.
I’ve always liked senjumaru since the moment she first appeared in the story. So the love she’s currently getting especially the showing of her bankai i feel is very well deserved
I’ve felt the absolute same since she was introduced
Thats why these events still happen but do not ultimately cause their deaths.
.
i forgot theres one sister that will cut the thread of fate.... good catch
cool theory, Senjumaru's bankai does indeed have some similarities to the concept of the three fates from Greek mythology, with the weaving of fate and sealing of destinies.
Isn’t it cannon that they can be resurrected with Ywachs powers and abilities, and they DID die but he used the Aushwalen to bring them back.
I really wish Black Clover schedule doesn't mess with Bleach. Even though I like both series Bleach is more 🔥🔥🔥 than ever
true, the strength of Zero Squad members having the potential to destabilize the worlds is symbolic and ironic. It adds a unique theme of power restriction and restraint to Bleach, which is usually focused on getting stronger. The conclusion of the cour was epic and surprising. Excited to see what 2024 has in store.
@@Suto_Ko Truth. And that becomes more sinister yet unsurprising with the hell chapter revealing that power equals being cast to hell with Shinigami actions are now leading it to crack open and unleash its horrors.
wicked twist, but not unexpected. Shinigami actions cracking open hell and unleashing horrors adds a sinister element to the story. @@manuelacosta9463
If her bankai can actually do that. That's stupidly broken, and I'm here for it.
Not to mention, it might shake some tier lists for bankais
Honestly Senjumaru abilities remind me of Life Fiber's from Kill La Kill
Yeah but the Quincy have another Hacks to counter it. Kinda Fustrating but their sealed is already made.
Some? Literally ALL power tier lists will need to make room for Squad Zero.
And it's not only Senjumaru and her broken bankai, it's also about how Oetsu's superior stats were brilliantly showcased without him using either shikai or bankai.
@n.8619 that 3 episode showcase honestly put yama down a bit, but he's still a monster
Pretty much for bankais it’s not Ichibe 1 and her 2nd. Yamas 3rd when would of put yamas 2nd
The statement "zero division is stronger than gotei 13" is not a joke anymore.
It never was. It was always showed that way
@cj5476 in the manga it was never "shown" that the zero division was stronger than the goetei 13.
This "Weaver of Fate" bankai makes so much sense, It gives credit to how the zero division is supposed to be on another level
@@markx7139think they know this, they just were wondering what the other's bankai were
@@markx7139 I know. I just wished to have seen it. The others are more straight forward characters while Senjumaru is rather quite and reserved
interesting theory, Sacrificing the other three members of Squad 0 to unlock their Bankai could indeed shake the worlds and potentially have an impact on the balance of power.
This actually makes so much sense. But i also think her bankai in the end grows stronger with each opponent successfully defeated.
This fits with the theory that Senjumaru was Urahara‘s mentor (or is maybe even related to him somehow?). His talent seems to mirrors herd a lot
Soo cool that you can break down this elaborate Bankai and help us understand the depths of the creativity and sheer badassery! As always, Thanks!
*BAN.KAI*
I completely agree. I get chills when they say it haha
totally agree, Senjumaru's delivery of "BAN.KAI" is absolutely chilling, showcasing her contemptuous disdain. The unique way each character says Bankai adds a fascinating layer to Bleach's saga.
Don’t leave Unohana’s utterance out of this now… her shit for real gave me chills!
ooh, Unohana's words were chilling indeed.@@Tupperware3
Plus, the fact that it was a total surprise really made it so much better. Going into the episode, at no point was I thinking "ok, here comes a new squad zero bankai".
Senjumaru monmy is hilarious and accurate.
My theory on her Bankai was it represented a portion of the eighteen Naraka of Buddhism.
Especially considering the hot and cold references as well as the black sand. (which were described by Buddha)
Not to mention, her six arms are the biggest giveaway since Buddhist Deities love to have more than just a single set of arms.
What Senjumaru used is basically a Domain Expansion/ Reality Marble with the sure it effects and everything.
This is my interpretation of Senjumaru's Bankai:
FIRST, (1) It shows what specific action/event they did in the past and will do in the future that will lead to their eventual death/demise. And then, (2) it foresees how each Schutzstaffel best effectively dies or is weakened in the future. A complete foresight of each Schutzstaffel's fates based on the best possible outcomes in the future and based from their past and future actions (Something that Ywhach, despite his Almighty's ability to foresee every possible Future Outcome, is unable to change which will lead him to use Auswählen anyway.)
SECOND, her Bankai predetermines the best time/event for each Schutzstaffel's death/demise, something that seems to assign the events in the best possible time along with the best match-ups to come against the Captain-level Shinigamis they're going to face. (Still going with the idea as Senjumaru being the Great Weaver, weaving everyone's fates in her favor.)
AND LASTLY, Senjumaru ensures that their fates are sealed and that whatever foresight generated and 'tapestries'/'hanks' she already weaved cannot be reversed or changed in the future.
(Yeah call me crazy with all these speculations 😂)
But you know, it's just my interpretation. I'm just excited to watch what will happen to Cour 3. Who knows, she might explain her Bankai too just like the other Captains. 😅
Amazing analysis
Perfect analysis
@tanukinoyami1411I agree. I think the first paragraph said a little bit of this too though. Crazy Bankai.
Considering Jugram is Yhwach's right hand man, it would be right to do this
The reverse is true for Uryu, where he reverses his fate which results in Senjumaru's Bankai failing, and also possibly setting up Yhwach's defeat
so Jugram's reason of downfall is Guilt.
Thank you kubo
Her calm nature whilst activating her bankai... as though she is performing a poem that seals their fate
Senjumaru is a certified baddie waifu

So she's literally that one teammate in fps games that clutches a 1 v everyone, everytime

Tanjiro seems the least confident due to his hand positioning.
she reminds me of arachnia from greek mythology "and in and out of the fabric, that was stretched across the loom the sins and the secrets of the gods were shown"
I rewinded her activating her Bankai like 10 times .. shit was so 🔥 🔥 🔥
I was completely not aware of the plot of this at all when I saw her Bankai, I was sitting there mouth a gape all starry-eyed and shit🔥
She weaved fate to bring this to be.
you see how badly the shaking is from just Senjumaru using her bankai, now imagine without the restriction all four of them doing bankai at the same time.
her bankai weaving their future is genius
Goot to see that Senjumaru Shutara got a bankai, since her design in the manga was really good.

Weaving is often tied to fate. It's like she wove their fate into the fabric of reality.
Loom of fate
To add more to that in the case of where Senjumaru herself is concerned, it looks to me that, with her immense levels of psychic powers and the powers of her Bankai itself, she is able to peer into the future, foresee and foretell the demise of her targets to then stitch together a pocket of space weaving the foreseen death of her victims into the chosen cloth and the natural power of Bankai acts as a ‘reality-creator’ basically creating the area of space for the target(s) to meet their end. Senjumaru looks into the future to see the death and her Bankai makes it happen.

Now I’m curious as to what the other squad zero’s Bankais are like 🤯
From the other Bankai that have these types of reality warping effects, Kisuke/Shunsui/Kaname to an extent/some others, they just affect the physical environment. Senjumaru’s more akin to a domain expansion- a pocket dimension that the user is able to essentially alter reality. This is the sort of thing that is much more esoteric than what we’re used to.
We're here baby, can't wait to hear this man's thoughts about senjumaru's bankai

My question now is how the hell are the quincies gonna get out of her bankai
They were beaten, Yhwach gonna pull some son of a god tier level hacks.
She tethered their fates …fabric or reality type shit…
Broooooo i love the intro❤️

This is the dbzirman i subd too =] solid video good sir. I felt the passion.
I gotta say Senju just fought her way into the Waifu arena and she is knockin people out! Her Bankai is just too dope. Shinjis bankai still "sounds" the best.(must listen with good speakers)I still get goosebumps from it.
in my opinion from what I understand what her bankai might do is that instead of predicting the future of her opponents' inevitable dooms it actually weaves (kinda like writing what will happen to them almost like a curse) the outcome she wants therefore weaving a story that she is the writer of
in summary it can weave story in the fabric of her opponent's fate
So o Hashwalth VS Ishida
perhaps this time around Bazz-B doesn't stay on the ground and trys to burn Hashwalth to nothing wich Hashwalth reverses on hin through the Balance
then Ishida could reverse the outcome later on with Antithesis ?
imo this would play out perfectly
but i don't know if Bazz-B will survive because i don't think that Kubo will give a protagonist such a broken ability when he already has Orihime to deal with when he wants to permanently kill a character
25:28 It might be a perfect blade, but it's a failure as a Zanpakutō since no sheath can contain it. This actually explains explicitely that a Zanpakutō is both the blade AND the scabbard.
Man... you're definitely top 3 when it comes to bleach analysis!!!💯💯
It would be a little bit out of character if the other squad zero release fate-altering bankai like this;
Kirinji is a healer and has hotheaded personality.
Such a well thought out video
Just a lil detail to add to this masterpiece, Senjumaru's arms together represent her zanpakuto's sheath. The needle represents the sword
squad zero is no joke, Nimaiya proclaimed himself as the baddest man in Squard Zero, which means his bankai might be
stonger than senjumaru's bankai
One of the coolest things ive seen on animes lately, loved every second
Was I the only one thinking about the fate sisters in old Ancient Greek mythology. They would literally weave the future. I was thinking she was weaving the fate of her enemies or maybe it’s the other way around.
Haschwalth doesn't die literally but a part of him does , and that is Bazz B
hey can you please a video explaining the Can't Fear Your Own World novel. btw loved your videos!
yeah please make video on this topic!
I'm just here to appreciate Semjuumommy's beauty. 🔥
Been literally waiting for a video about this
Imagine if They use medalion and steal her bankai.
This flawless fabric selection solidified her position as the ultimate waifu, tailored to perfection.
Medieval kings in Europe often had tapestries made of events in their lives. And she is a tailor to royalty (Soul King) She is literally crafting events in their lives.
Or maybe her Bankai actually turned them into blankets 🤷♂️
Thanks for the video. I'm gonna cry every Saturday until Bleach returns! 🥲🥲🥲
Cour 3 and 4 are surw to butter our biscuits too 😩
