Our 05 Titan (crew cab 5.5' bed) has 220k+ miles and is still a beast. No issues at all in the last 17 years with regular maintenance. Had the terrible paint job that all 2000s Nissans had (got it repainted for xmas 2021: fresh factory Charcoal Gray) Love the v8 roar (very iconic sound bespoke to this engine)

Have to have front end work done every couple years but other than that no problems. I've probably had it tuned up twice. Starts right up and runs like new. I've never even replaced a headlight or tail light. Has some quirky things like the heater clicking when it's off and it honked and locked all the doors out of the blue a couple times. But that hasn't happened in 7-8 years. Very satisfied with this rig.

my 02 silverado has 118k miles so pretty low mileage which is what i was looking for. i wanted plenty of life left. got it about 2 years ago. haven't put too many miles on it though. but went on a over 2k mile roadtrip about 7 months ago, no issues. from socal to colorado and back. was getting about 400 miles between fillups with a few gallons left. so not bad.

Got an 06 new. What a great truck. Gave it to my son last year and got a 2019 xd. Trucks that are thousands more don’t have some of the cool things that the titans do. For what I payed for the two I’ve owned definitely made them a good bang for the buck.

I still love my '06 Titan SE, bought new in 06 with 12 miles. Now 16 years later with 198k miles and she is still going strong! The clear coat on the hood and roof have issues, and little things that are typical for a vehicle with that many miles, but it is still a blast to drive. The major issue that is annoying with these 1st gen Titan's are the cracking stock exhaust manifolds. (there are a few others, but this is the biggest).
BTW...Endurance was used on the '04 models.

08 Titan owner here 227K miles. Still going strong. Just regular maintenance done to it. I'll need to do something with the paint which is the only thing wrong with it. Probably just going to Raptor Line the entire truck. It can't pass a gas station without stopping to fill up but I love the VK56 V8 in it. It's not my daily driver anymore so more of a weekend vehicle now.

Gonna buy one (07) with the same mileage as you from my friend. Any issues I should watch out for? I know about the manifold cracking and the brakes, but those were just replaced. Don’t know if the manifold or transmission has ever been serviced/replaced.

I had a 2004 King Cab SE 4x4. Put a JBA cat back on it. I loved that truck. It was like a muscle car with a bed. Kept it until 2020. Only had 82000 on it but living in NJ rust was killing it so it had to go. Fuel mileage was terrible though. Other than a few small issues I never had any problems with it. For a truck it was very fast and It would work. Even though it was a 1/2 ton I loaded 1 ton in the bed a number of times and it handled it with ease. Never bottomed out. The HP and torque always felt way more than the stated figures.

Bought my 2010 Pro4x KC brand new in 2009. The worst problems are replacing the exhaust manifolds when they crack and the blend door actuators. You have to drop the entire IFS subframe to get to the manifolds and the entire dash has to come out for the $20 actuators.

Like any vehicle I have had to replace some parts here and there but nothing major. It's great hearing how much it sold for since it gives me an idea of what I should value my truck especially with these improvements. It's cool seeing these 1st generation titan videos, I feel the older models look alot better than the new style. I like that head unit too. Is there any info on where to find it online?

My brother had an 03 he bought new and it had Endurance V8 emblems on the front quarter panels. The motor and drive train were flawless but around 200K it rusted out from under him but it was a truck endlessly used on salty roads so nothing against Nissan. Between the north east roads and the amount of towing he did it was a great truck.

Only issue I have had is my windows go up and down a little slow. I replaced the fan belt and spark plugs around 100,000 miles. With the price of trucks today I plan on driving it as long as I can.

I bought a '19 king cab 3 months ago and I tow with it mostly but the truck is really quick when I'm not pulling. I drove tampa to jax for turkey day and was getting almost 20 mpg, I get about 12 mpg when towing. Electric sliding rear is a cool feature I wish I had. I bought it from a Nissan dealership and I got it much cheaper than any big 3 truck I looked at. Had only 11k too, that was the biggest selling point for me. I traded in a '15 crew cab frontier that I beat the crap out of and they still gave me 12k for it
