It’s good to see a comment from someone who’s been making them already. Please tell me, how thick and gelatinous do the flax seeds make the smoothie - especially when you go back for another glass full and it’s gotten thicker?
When I make raw crackers/chips in my dehydrator, I use about a 1/2 cup of flax seeds. I couldn’t imagine drinking anything close to that thickness and texture. Even when I add chia seeds to my smoothies, I usually only add one tsp or tbs.
Any tips or other options for getting in the Omega 3’s?

I freeze kale so it won't go bad. I use that for the smoothies. If you blend the greens first, it will make more room in the blender to add the fruit

I’m glad this works for some ppl. I’ve been in her group for years and lots of healing stories. Unfortunately it did not work for my husband and I although it seemed to at first. We did this for two years along a plant based diet. My husband lost weight so with that his cholesterol and high blood pressure got better. My endometriosis pain got a bit better but later I learned it was just from cutting dairy. Over time my pcos got worse (longer cycles in between) and I developed cysts that were not there before and was infertile. My husband started loosing his hair, too much muscle mass and got kidney stones. We are both two years later still oxalate dumping. I’ve heard Dr goldner talk about oxalates and saying it’s not a big deal and that only affects a few ppl. Well when u are “a few ppl” it really sucks 😢 eventually healed my endometriosis, pcos and became fertile after an animal based diet 🤷‍♀️ just four months in vs the over two years I was doing plant based. I’m not sure if there is a right or wrong diet or that it really is just that bioindividual for everyone

I lived mainly on a plantbased diet before having to go on a 6 week work trip, to program an automotive production line, in Puebla Mexico. Until then I was strong, healthy, people would guess me at early thirty even though I was 43. I had great digestion too. Never any problems. Unfortunately the mostly plant based diet didn't protect me there. After eating salads at the hotel buffet almost every day, I started having bad diarreah after only 3 days into the 6 week stay. The diarreah didn't go away for the following 7 weeks. Weird gassy smell, metallic taste started coming up from my stomach. 4 weeks after getting back home I got paralyzed bowels, that wouldn't even absorb water. Now 18 months later I'm bedridden lost 40 lbs down to 135 lbs from once 175lbs. I have nervous system damage, tremors, weakness, fatigue, always cold hands and feet, a destroyed gut, still constant bad smell from the stomach and completely changed, bad smelling body odors. It seems something in Mexico was in my food or beverages that did irreversible damage. I had to give up my job as an electrical engineer 1 year ago because I couldn't stand the pain and fatigue anymore. All the other guys who stayed away from salads and fruit juices in Mexico were all still fine and are still working today. Now I know it wasn' t the fruits or salads themselves that did this to me. It was some contamination on them, maybe feces, molds, bacteria, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, which the guys who only ate cooked meat foods weren't exposed to. Whatever caused it, it is horrible and I feel like dying. I also feel suicidal. My life and future were destroyed. 😢😔😔😔

your gut isn't used to the good stuff yet. Options would be to start with smaller amounts spread out every couple hours instead of a lot at once, or you can always eat the ingredients in salad form (or any recipe in Goodbye Lupus Hello Delicious). Adding meat will stop your gut from adjusting though! Hope that helps!

@BrookeGoldnerMD just FYI... I eat mostly Organic, only eat American food when going out to dinner... 2xs a month... or guest at someone's house... I reversed Multiple Scleroses 20 years ago , going organic... I intermittent fasting 16/8 and do like raw milk, and butcher my own chicken and ducks...
So while it's not Raw, it's better then average American.
I can't loose 50lbs, leaky gut and fatty liver, so I'm better then most diets but obviously still bad.... for Im going downhill, hence why I am discovering Raw... but based on that info is your advice different?
