Great video Auryn! Thank you for your kind words. I feel the same discussing with you. You bring a lot of value to the community and keep up the great work. I am really looking forward to your build! 😊 I also wanted to thank you for reviewing the keyboard. I took some notes and would love to implement some of your suggestions in the next release. All the best!
Almost the perfect ergonomic keyboard for the Look At Keyboard while typing people (LAK typing), That's 80% of all keyboard users. The left and the right column should be in the middle. Because it's faster to move to the inside, because you can see the keycap inscriptions, while on the outside your hands cover them. Plus the pinkies are not used most of the time by the LAK typing people. Another benefit would be that the keys would be further apart, opening up the shoulders and forearms a little more. I agree with the designer that productivity increases compared to a normal full size keyboard. Thumbkeys, programmable, etc. are helping with that. I would put space, enter, backspace and shift in the thumb keys for the 80% LAK typing users. A big plus is that there are only 1u keycaps, so if you're a user that do LAK typing you can see the swap the keycaps according to the reassignments of keys in the software. And touch typing people can learn quicker because they can peak when they are still learning. I hope that there will be a certain small percentage of separate programmable numpads relative to of the production volume of the main keyboard for people that work a lot with numbers. It would also be nice if someone sold separate keycaps for indicidual ?, /, (, ), :, ;, +, and = as well as f1, f2, f3 (MS Office). The ( and ) for Excel formulas for users who don't know the macro.
Awesome video! I really like the open source keyboards :) I currently have corne xiao version and I really like it a lot. Would love to try this one too!
Hi there, I always wanted to try one of those, but I never got to split layouts. My nuphy air96 just broke down because of a swollen battery so this would come in super handy. Keep up the good videos. Grüße
I'm thinking about building a split beyboard myself for like 6 months now, but whenever i want to order the parts i sit in front of my trustworthy 10 years old g710+ and think, well thats a good keyboard why have another keyboard 😂 When I have more time i will start tinkering, and will create a complete custom keyboard for the case it will break sometime, but i guess that will take a long time😅
Keep up the great videos! Would love this keyboard as it honestly looks nearly perfect for my needs, very generous of you to give away!

My pleasure!
Really great work, thank you for building and providing the keyboard :)
I've been wanting to get into custom keyboards for a while, but split keyboards seem like an expensive upgrade.
I would like the keyboard as my first ergonomic one and see the results on the strain on the hands

Sorry to hear that, you are in the raffle :)
Looks interesting. Right now I'm choosing between corner (v4.1) or something like PHNX :)
Side note, just watched your miroku video as well and might be building one of those!
I would say it is definitely worth a build :)
Keyboard looks super neat. Love the video quality
Thanks! a lot :)
