Regretfully I stopped playing classical piano back in my teens to pursue "other interests"!!!! However, watching this RUclips video and some of "DR K" (who is a friend of Terry's - after having spoken to him on the phone just now and being told that by him!!), they have both "awoken" my desire to return to the piano but, this time, to attempt to play boogie woogie (time will tell, of course as it's quite different to Chopin, etc!!!!). One really cannot initially wish for more than being able to actually SPEAK with the creator of the DVD which I have now ordered and look forward to studying in the near future. Watch this space for more comments in the future as, although it won't be an easy ride, from what I've already seen from this video, it's going to be a very interesting and well-rewarding journey!! Put your DVD on you tube and charge if you must. I can't watch DVD on on tablet. Tablet is what I use at the piano not TV.
This is really good. It looks hard and that's okay. Go slow at first and fairly soon you will get it. The only problem I have is doing it in some of the other keys but that's a whole other thing. GREAT VIDEO :) !

I ve played this riff many times but usually just left out the gb.. and the little trill.. but I did finish up on c major pentatonic g a c.. .. but on thinking about it I mis putting in the tritone in..I'll have to integrate it in.. that trill on the e and g is a great finger exercise.
