- Grant and Derek went down the Hyland River to search for a 'Hyland Giant'. Hunting is a game of patience and playing your odds. Watch and find out how they made their play, and if they ended up winning big.
Unfortunately, most of us can only experience these hunts on RUclips. Out of state big game hunting has become a pursuit for the wealthy. That's not sour grapes. My hat's off to those who can do it.
Our governments in Canada require the use of a guide for out of country hunting. Out of province costs more too, I believe 10x the regular tag amount. Then again, I can't come there and shoot hogs with ARs either 😢😢

It should always be for the hunt and not the scale of the trophy. This was an excellent hunt with lots of miles under the boots. To say to the stalker it’s not the monster bull I wanted is a but disrespectful. 😮😮😮
