I've been on a HOI4 binge of using only the historical presets given by Paradox, alongside accurate, historical division organization. Can I do the same as the British in the wonderful WW1 mod Great War Redux, and defeat the Central Powers?

The addition of Historical presets into Hearts of Iron IV was an awesome thing for massive history nerds like myself. Now, I play REALLY historically, using only the stupid tanks and planes that happened in real life! I'm aiming to do this with EVERY country in the game (or at least every major) so let me know a good suggestion down in the comments for more countries to play!

Chamberlain was replaced by Churchill and Churcill was replaced by Attlee. That's gotta be the other 2 times a PM was replaced in war time.

George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen to Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston (Crimean War (1853-1856).), William Pitt the Younger to Henry Addington, 1st Viscount Sidmouth, and back again (Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars (It ended in 1815 is all I know.), as well as Charles Watson-Wentworth, 2nd Marquess of Rockingham to William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham (Seven Years' War (1756-1763).). It is not uncommon for crisis to develop to warrant such a change in leadership. I dare write that a certain Dutch state in Southern-Africa caused problems too.

@@Crump_Hole Probably Attlee, as it was a standard General Election but it fell after VE Day but before VJ Day.
@@Aldrahill All of the ones between Atlee and now have been replaced while at war. The Korean War is ongoing, there's only a ceasefire.
(Also, Churchill replaced Atlee before the ceasefire)
Pitt the Younger died during the War of the Third Coalition.

Britain in GW redux is absurdingly overpowered. I think one of the industrial focuses builds 8 infrastructure, 8 civs and 8 additional building slots, with no requirements, and literally takes 70 days.

@@Aldrahill What I usually do is disband the entire army and put the guns on market, then work from there onwards by spamming civs and infras

You can fix the naval invasion problem by choosing "Tip of the spear" army spirit
It fixes all debuffs of naval invasions this mod has
i'm glad i'm not the only one who plays hoi4 while obsessively researching the historical timeline to recreate it as best as possible

I know it's a completely different game but something in Gates of Hell: Ostfront would be a lot of fun to watch! The devs have done a lot to be historically accurate and the spirit of these videos could definitely be translated to that game in some shape or form.
I tried asking for a code for that game but they never got back to me :( would love to try it, I love bokoen’s videos on the game :)
@@Aldrahill It's a ton of fun! The dynamic campaign is a great gamemode and I think all a lot of people play. I think bokean only ever plays multiplayer though.
Some crazy idea...Fallout mod, for NCR, Enclave, Brotherhood or Legion, only with lore-accurate presets. Sound insane and unberable, try it!)

You should play as the soviet union in this mod, it’s really fun! Just play russia historically (aka lose the west and don’t put down the socialists) and the choose to play as them. They have a lot of content but it’s very hard

The First Gulf War (1991) had not started yet. Operation Desert Shield (1990-1991) did however. Operation Granby was in (1991) though. There are many cases though even the Seven Years' War (1756-1763).

For the replacement of PMs during wartime, Chamberlain was replaced by Churchill during wartime (WWII after the Norway Debate) and I believe multiple PMs went in and out during the 15+ years of the Malayan Emergency which was technically a war, but was called an ‘Emergency’ so insurance companies would pay out for property damaged by the communist rebels. So the PMs were out during ‘wartime’ but not in a declared war per se.
For those who want to know WHY I know this? Just your average ol’ 20th century history enthusiast, why else would I have watched what I’m pretty certain is every one of the historical preset videos on this channel? Except for the great commentary of course! (:

15:52 It's not, actually! I thought they joined later on as well, but the Ottomans actually joined on October 31st of 1914, only 4 days away from when it happened for you in-game.

@@AldrahillWell if you feel like playing until 1950, you can do the French focus tree three times
(You can do it twice (except for some focuses) after Vichy France)
Making France the strongest nation (not counting taking over other countries), able to get around the USA's number of factories by 1950

I’d love to see China with historical divisions and templates but I don’t even know if there are documents to accurately describe Chinese division structure due to the absolute state of China in the 30’s/40’s
