I know that the middle is supposed to be a safe haven but in the movie one night the doors don't close and the grievers get in the middle and raise chaos it would be Interesting to reenact that later in the series or have the doors not close every 7th night or something

I used to have dreams I was trapped in a surreal maze world. The walls were mazes, the floors were mazes, there was no sky, only mazes. I fought all kinds of freaky monsters from a towering titan to tricky sneaky monsters with their own abilities like invisibility and illusion capabilities. There were even trap zones and different areas. Like the subterranean maze below the surface maze, like a basement to the original maze. It was always flooded with three feet of water, barely lit and had lots of endless tunnels, hallway and scattered rooms interconnecting with each other. Or the High Zone, where the walls stretch up forever, disappearing from view in a hazy fog far above the floor. Or the Shifting Zone, where the walls move every thirty minutes, blocking and opening places at random. Then I read the book. It is an awesome series. Reminds me of the book's City of Ember world.

When my server is ready Ill post it everywhere. The new ultimate 1.20.5 SMP with insane minigames and rewards/prizes that dont ruin economies etc etc, i got it all down. But also a full scale 3k wide MazeRunner replica witha much badder asser Griever and much bigger too. May or may not have paid someone $100 for fuully animated and configurable Griever 5 blocks tall, 7 wide 10 blocks deep when in front. And 9 attacks, 4 running animations, sideways wall climbing with perfected system for when they reach the top sticking out 2 legs first, amazing..

Now you have the actual Greiver, and i am really happy that you are trying to make it like the books, because i really enjoyed the series, both the prequel and the main series. I love the concept of a navigating a megastructure in Minecraft with a goal. Like you know the world is finite, but it’s so massive it feels like you’ll never see the end of it
For the fireplace you could have done it like a realistic fireplace and put it one or 2 blocks into the wall and it wouldn’t catch anything on fire. Surround with brick or cobble

I've watched your previous video and I know you aren't great at modeling, but what I feel like would make the grievers WAY more scarier is animations. It's already scary to turn around and see one of those things behind you, but sometimes you just see them slide and stuff like that. I hope you work on this side of the mod in the future. After having watched outsiders smp, I've realized the map used here is probably the original version of the outsiders smp map(of course they had the create mod and updated the map accordingly) I think this is gonna be a really fun series to watch Edit: the map is likely A world download if what I've said so far is true.

They are because I designed them that way for Minecraft. They can climb about anything and also fall from considerable distances without a drop of sweat. The dwellers are predictable and can be challenged, Griever can surprise you a lot
I feel like u should make it hardcore to make it more scarier and that u are actually fighting for ur life instead of being able to respawn. It would probably make it more realistic and it would make it more challenging,

Just so you know, you don’t have to break the leaves. They will automatically break when you break the logs and destroying them with the hoe doesn’t affect the drop rate.

Despite the Grievers, overall it feels incredibly peaceful. Beautiful shaders and birdsong.
