OMG!!! It was me! I commented about the chick going out. I didn’t catch it right away as I was watching live but paused for a bit. I couldn’t believe it! I’m so so happy you were able to save the chick. ❤️❤️❤️ I didn’t realize it had swallowed the hair. I thought it was tied up on both birds at the time. Amazing footage. So glad they had a good nest this year. 😍😍😍
When the dad came back the first time to feed the chicks, he did seem to keep looking at the nest as though he sensed that something was amiss. I'm glad the chick made it back, safe and sound! 😊
Poor Biddy, she has no luck with human hair! I have super long hair that's also quite thick and course. You can find it EVERYWHERE :D Because of what happened to Biddy before, I've been careful not to get too much of it into the nature, especially in the nesting season. Like before I take rugs etc. out, I make sure I have vacuumed them. I never want my hair to cause any drama!!
Oh my, such drama with this pair of bluetits! I'm so glad you were able to rescue that little chick. Thank you for this awesome footage and for telling the story of these birds in such an interesting way.
Idk how but RUclips just recommended this to me now. Watched it immediately. GREAT vid, well done, but then i see thid was a year ago. Hoping you have vids from when they fledged.
That's a mad adventure for that little chick lol What a weird thing to happen! So glad it all worked out ♥ That's really unlucky and extremely lucky lol
We had a happy ending to emergency for a woodcock who was nesting in our light. It was hopping around on the ground stuck to a sticky trap. We acted fast took it into the light put a paper napkin over her head to calm her and my hubby freed her feet and wing from the sticky stuff. Later next day we saw her tending her chicks and fit as a fiddle.
Of course it was a crazy situation and I’m so glad the chick was saved and accepted back, but I also can’t get over Miley completely ignoring his mate asking for good and going straight around her to feed their chicks. Biddy just standing there like: “… alright then.” And going off to get herself some grub. XD
Well done!!! Im so glad you were able to find the chick and get them safely back with their siblings! And i am also so happy to see Biddy and Miley having a much stronger start this season. These birds deserve a win! :)
Very very glad to hear that story! ❤ Two weeks ago I found a young wigtail fledgling fully feathered and strong but obviously abandoned on the street, and after seeing there wasn't parental feeding taking place I had to take it home with me. After two days with me and countless mealworms it got bigger and was really fine so I brought it to a wild bird sanctuary , but when I called them a week later I was informed that it had died 😢😢😢
How brilliant is that... Well done whoever for pointing out what happened.... and for you to act in the way you did... A wonderful person you are indeed. Many Many pints of Guinness would i like to buy you Sir.
Good job. About 20 yrs ago, I put a baby hummingbird back in its nest with a ladle. Unfortunately the parents didn't come back to the nest and the poor little thing passed away.
This was an awesome rescue! I really wonder though why it is necessary to wait until both adults leave the nest. Would they not be equally happy to be there receiving her back? With hatched chicks already in the nest, would they flee for good and leave them behind??? Is that any likely?
I stop breathing for a second knowing how birds is carry on when they don’t wan to accept there own young back after there scent no longer on the young
FACT: Birds don't reject their young from humans' scent. Birds do reject younglings, but not for that reason. An old wives tale that derived from obviously parents telling their kids that to get them to leave baby birds alone.
Super!! Long hairs in the nest will always be a hazard. Two years ago I had one of the parent birds stuck on a very long hair. It's was hanging on the hair under the nest and flapping it's wings to try and get loose. The hair was stuck on it's foot. I managed to get the hair off but spooked the birds doinbg that. Sadly enough the nest was abandonned and the little chicks did not survive.
I think she didn’t realized that the chick got pulled out with her!!! There’s a moment she looks the chicks closely I think she was counting them 1-2-3 … 4? Wheres 4? Then you put him back and she was AHHH there you were 🥰
I work at a wildlife rescue center and have one quotion to all the bifrd watchers , if a cuckoo laid an egg why don you not remove the egg and handrear the cuckoo? Everybody I asked before said it is nature but in my mind it is if I had a camera on 24/7 I am interfering already
She 'inadvertently' saved the chick ?.... she actually 'with intent AND knowledge' commented, specifically to save the chick. Quite the opposite of your narration.
Yo are a good manto ta,e the extra timeznd effoer. They are so small, i hope they all grow big and strong and eventually bring their own babies to show you one day.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Could you not of tapped the side of the nest box so she would leave while you put the baby back or are Blue Tit quicker to abandon chicks then the birds around me in North Carolina. I have 4 nest boxes and that is how I check them. Tap the side of the box to see if the parent is in it and then check the eggs/chicks for a few seconds. Never had any babies or eggs abandoned because of what I did.
Perfectly suited birdhouse for these birds with all the features needed for the birds, Birds (which have wings) do not need "steps". This particular birdhouse gets used readily and is perfect for them.

I do believe it was yourself 😊 Thanks again !

Goodness, that was one lucky chick! Well done, to the person who spotted what happened.

Glad you were able to save that little chick! Thank you to who ever spotted it and messaged on the live chat! ❤️
the way it tumbled into the nest was so funny i was impressed with your accuracy
I saw the thumbnail and thought you were dropping a cube of beef in there and I was like- wat
Me too! Until I realized what was happening, great save!!
It's insanely lucky that someone watching the channel noticed it fall out of the nest.
So good to see he made it back safe!
Hope he washes the fork before eating with it.
Lovely that we got to observe the situation. The person who alerted you is a hero in my book.
Your dedication is amazing, what a lucky little chick.

Oh my goodness! I’m so glad you were able to bring that baby back in time!! Birds are so dedicated to the care of their chicks! 😻😻😻
Such a precious intervention.
That was amazing!
Bless you for saving this tiny little baby 😃💕
Wow, they grow so quickly. They're already so much bigger than when they hatched.
nice aim with that fork throw,
Thank you for saving him. I'm glad you were able to find him.

Beautiful! Thank you for saving that poor chick, you’re amazing!
Well done! The little nugget gets returned to the nest, and thanks to the present he had with him, was gratefully accepted back into the nest! 🐦😊👍
Well done! Great teamwork!
Well, that was quite a shocking video. It's good that you were there and could help the bird 🐣💕
Amazing how resilient these little creatures are 😵
You would make a great Dad Fionn well done to all
So sweet ❤
Magic! Thank you

Video is there :) go to the playlist on my page and it's the 2022 nesting season :)
Aw just loved watching this
Happy to see someone to care about wild birds. And sad to see the others catch wild birds rapidly 😢

That doesn't sound right, internal injuries, perhaps?
Ah.. sorry to hear that.
Nice job😮 good that the hatchling did not get injured when dragged by her mother. I love taking videos of blue tit birds here in my place too.
Thank you for saving him.
Great rescue operation. I hope that everything went well.
Wow brilliant nice one dude 🙂✌️

Awesome 👏 you saved the little chick 👍
Once again, awesome video Fionn, thank you for the amazing content
Yeah! God, the tension. Well done.
Синицы: теперь ты знаешь почему мы выращиваем птенцов с запасом. :)
It’s wonderful to see the rescue and return to the nest.
Good man yourself👍

Nice video thank you for sharing
Thank God! God bless you Fionn for saving that chick!
Fantastic !
Amazing ❤🎉

Fascinating!

You don’t want to scare them which could make them hurt themselves or leave
brilliant m8
Please could you tell me which camera you use
I don’t seem to have much luck with Wi-Fi cameras
Thanks
🥰❤️
I stop breathing for a second knowing how birds is carry on when they don’t wan to accept there own young back after there scent no longer on the young
Bird:" Didnt we have four chicks?" *shrugs
two hours later
Bird:" Didnt we have only three chicks?" *shrugs
Very interesting movie. I'm curious what kind of camera you use and how you solved the power supply?
When are we getting another video?
It's been 2 weeks when is the next update?????

Brand new, just saw your rescue, wow! Good work! Not to fear about it being accepted, as most birds have a very poor sense of smell, it'll be ok.
poor on math as well
@@Funktastico Ah yes, just like me.
Bravo ❤
This is where they came up with the idea for that movie "Baby's day out".
Where did you purchase & what type of bird box do you use. Great photos & video. Can you please give info on the box. Thanks
They are adorable. Hope they grew up to be strong Bluechests themself (Had to change Bluet*ts to Bluechests because censorship)

Not a Sparrow falls .....🐦 🐣 but that The Lord does not know of it 🦁 🕊️ ....Luke 12:6 Psalm 84:3 Math 10:29 . Much love from Scotland 🙋
A fork instead of a spoon...? 😯 😕
Fork moving the chick slowly... then SHMJAK into the nest. Ouch!
How many feet did the chick fall from nest. ?
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Why do they drop em? Fear of not being able to take care of it?
She 'inadvertently' saved the chick ?.... she actually 'with intent AND knowledge' commented, specifically to save the chick. Quite the opposite of your narration.
Like every movie worth watching this comes with a retarding moment and a happy ending! 😊
Yo are a good manto ta,e the extra timeznd effoer. They are so small, i hope they all grow big and strong and eventually bring their own babies to show you one day.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What kind of camera do you use? A trail cam?
That was a miracle!
Chicken nuggets 😂😂😂

Never had any babies or eggs abandoned because of what I did.
I think she would have hunkered down and started hissing thinking the box was under attack.
Praise God ( I AM THAT I AM ) in the name of Jesus…. That kind humans saved the little chick 🐣
Amazing, how did I miss this last year? Well done!
ta sikorka chyba sama wywala tego pisklaka , bo ma za dużo dziobów do wykarmienia , było 5 pisklaków
So how the chick you save has to get out his home trap, no 'steps ' out of it? obviously your duty now.
It flies out ?

What happened with the rest of the footage of this nest? Did anyone see it when it was live camed?
Made a Video now :)
Music and titles would be better than talking.
