We had House Wren Birds nesting and breeding in a flowerpot in the wardrobe. This is now the 2nd brood in a year. Luckily the young animals are very safe!

Our blue tit mom is so scruffy! She's feeding the little ones still and the babies look do big and healthy, like shiny new babies, while the mom looks like a "hobo". But she's so busy taking care of them it's no wonder!

The adult at 2.25 looks ragged ... same as with our blue tit family of six, which has been hanging around outside our living room window two weeks now: before mating both adults were super smart

The second female seems to be alone. If she had a mate he would have come in to take a look too. Resident mom and dad are hopeful able to move this female along so it doesn’t remain a danger. Odd behavior for sure maybe she is acting oddly because she doesn’t have a mate.

We have blue tits nesting next to our back door and are at approx 16 days old now. But we also have a very active family of magpies with 3 young birds that love our bird bath. I’m so worried for the blue tit fledgelings 😖

I work at a wildlife rescue center and have one quotion to all the bifrd watchers , if a cuckoo laid an egg why don you not remove the egg and handrear the cuckoo? Everybody I asked before said it is nature but in my mind it is if I had a camera on 24/7 I am interfering already

I was inspired by your videos of Warren and Wendy. We have Bertie and Belinda who took up residence in our new nest box and laid eggs which hatched into chicks. All was going well until about a week ago, but I think the random patch of much warmer weather quickly followed by much colder and wetter weather stopped the parents coming to the nest. Sadly, on inspection we were left with at least 4 dead fledglings :-(. Now we've cleared the nest and hoping for better luck next year.

We've a pair of blie tits nesting in our wall.. unfortunately the cat has managed to have one. Absolutely gutted as my little girl is really invested in them. A couple of chicks have hatched and we can partially see into the nest and those two chicks came upto the entrance and have died in the nest. The remaining tit is still visiting the nest. Would this ne happening if there are no living chicks and hiw can i tell which parent is left 🤷🏻‍♂️ also should i try to remove the two dead chicks as they arent throwing them out as I'd expect

Fionn I have two blue tits now flying in and out of my nest box - looks like with food - what stage would this mean especially at this time of year? Would chicks have hatched?

I just discovered I have chicks in one of my boxes, I only found out because I heard the little peeps. I had to sit for 10 minutes to see an adult blue tit taking food in. I don't know if it's the male or female, or both, but they've been in and out all day. I watched for hours. So, I've come looking for videos to find out about them and I'm very glad to have found your channel. I've learned so much in the past hour 😂 Oooh also, I like the names Toby & Tulip 😊

Hi. My Blue Tits laid 11 eggs, all 11 have hatched. We are at day 9 for the eldest. All 11 are still alive. I can sent photos and videos. My question is one large bird has wriggled his way out of nest and is on the side, he is being ignored, his eyes are open. Will he be fed or seen as a stranger?

We had a happy ending to emergency for a woodcock who was nesting in our light. It was hopping around on the ground stuck to a sticky trap. We acted fast took it into the light put a paper napkin over her head to calm her and my hubby freed her feet and wing from the sticky stuff. Later next day we saw her tending her chicks and fit as a fiddle.
