My daughters 2017 Turbo charge hose has the same rubbing issue. When inspecting why, the right side of the intercooler slides back and forth. From watching this video, I can now see that the intercooler is supposed to lock into a slot. Hopefully the locking mechanism isn't broken. I will find out this week when I replace the worn hose.

@@MichaeldeSanta21887 did you ever find the locking piece? I think mine is broken too. About to order a new intercooler. My daughter hit a large pot hole which dented the bottom of it and moved it back then rubbed a large hole in the intercooler hose.
@@hubertmiles1673 I bought a new intercooler, just make sure you install it correctly. Removing old clips if they broke and are still in place. If the locking mechanism broke you may need to buy a new radiator since the intercooler locks into it but I doubt it.
You guys this job is very easy. Just be patient and don’t be a little sissy with the old intercooler I had no help so I had to use a screwdriver and my foot to get it out 🤣 no it does not slide out easily if the cooling fan is in the way. I had to loosen my fan disconnect the plug for it and very carefully I removed it. I had to remove my coolant hose but if ur fast enough only some will leak out and you can save most of it if you do this my way just be sure not to let the entire coolant resivor go empty or ur gonna have to bleed the system but when you remove the hose you can bend it a little bit and move it out the way. Just make sure to add more coolant and leave the cap open it should bubble that’s the air coming out the system. You may need to open bleeder screw to make sure nothing is completely trapped in the rad itself. You can buy all The parts for this like I said I needed to replace my radiator my intercooler and the hose plus I had to buy a. Bottle of coolant and my total was $845. Took me 2 days to do it because I work so it was only available for me to work on my car after work.. at 11 at night. Not to self coolant taste gross 😂😂

I’m going to add this as well you can leave the fan and just slide it up out the way just loosen the 2 bolts or screws depends on ur model of car I removed mine cause again I was alone and didn’t have help and this made my build very easy to reach around other areas especially disconnecting and reconnecting hoses. Just be careful cause the little fins dent in very easy I do recommend getting car to operate temp and just make sure nothing is leaking or hissing these hoses tend to suck air in if not seated all the way and it will throw that code like crazy
Ahora mismo mi carro presenta lo mismo pero eso le va aseguir pasando por que ese problema es de fabricación el tubo pega en la vanda no importa cuantas veses le pongas nuevo pasara de nuevo nesesitas ponerle un sincho que aga presion fuera de la banda
