Starting with the 2D-CGI style; Returns to Dream Land, Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot, and Star Allies. Those were the best 7 years of Kirby games, and now we must come to a close. Welcome to the new era of 3D Kirby games, starting with Forgotten Land!
He had to leave because he got a call from Sakurai. He must have something absolutely smashing to show Kirby... Puns aside, Kirby will have to take his place on the battlefield in a few days... and save everyone in the world of light. Kirby really needs a vacation
shinya kumazaki has confirmed that star allies and all its updates were meant to be a grand sendoff to the recent formula of the kirby series by celebrating everything that helped lead up to this point. I think that's what the Farewell aspect of this song and its accompanying puzzle picture is meant to represent. he's going off to someplace new, possibly somewhere he's never been before. and, it's honestly bittersweet, we've grown so accustomed to what a kirby game is these past seven years especially and it's a little sad to imagine that we might not have another kirby game quite like these ones for a long time. but ultimately, even if bittersweet, it's still sweet. there's more adventures out there for kirby to explore, more unseen ground to cover. it's hard to know exactly how smoothly it'll go, but no matter what, it will go. I'm personally pretty excited. farewell, kirby (as we know you now)!
Mhm... I bet this is the last one. After all, he DID defeat not only Dark Matter… but Void Termina, the ULTIMATE matter... Peace has been restored to all of Dream Land forever. This is it.
@@misterartist1603 no, there are more games to come. This is merely the end of the traditional formula of Kirby games. My guess is they're planning on making a fully 3d Kirby game, kinda like Blowout Blast and Battle Royale, but on a much bigger scale.
For anyone upset or scared that it’s the last game the developers said in an interview that they’re making more games and that they’re moving on to the “next phase of the Kirby series”
This isn't the last Kirby game, but my god does HAL really treat it like one. Well, true, Kirby Star Allies is actually a Kirby Anniversary game for 25 years of Kirby. But I tell ya, this game was big. Bringing back so many memories of Kirby, even referencing the anime a few times like the title skit with Waddle Doo and the Waddle Dees.
HAL treats _every_ Kirby game like it's the last one. They always go all-out and celebrate Kirby's birthday every single game. It's just so... Wholesome.
@@mythosinfinite6736 Mostly love to believe Kirby finally did the impossible, Gave The Void the Nothingness, a being of absolute Zero. Emotions and became Friends. Dark matter Story finally achieved a Happy Ending, and no longer lives in misery.
Kirby: “Just one more battle. And I’ll return to Popstar.” He walked over to the cliff where he saw his other friends die by the beams of light. Kirby: “One last poyo.”
We all celebrated Kirby's 25th anniversary. Our little pink puff wrecked what's literally Space Satan with his own space cult. He brought back old friends (And a couple enemies), and made new ones. He reminded us of all twenty-six years of the franchise. Our minds were blown by lore deeper than the Mariana Trench. And we have a beautiful song to cap it all off. It's the perfect finale. And the best part? Kirby's story isn't even over yet.
Indeed. Soon, Kirby will have to save the world again along with his other Nintendo friends in the World of Light! Oh, and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn comes out next year, so there's that too.
While, Kirby and the Forgotten Land may have been released, but that dosen’t entirely mean the end of ‘2D’ era. As long as the series continues beyond its 30th anniversary, I’m sure more 2D and 3D games will be announce eventually (maybe one 2D and 3D game alternate every year beyond Forgotten Land).
@@SGrailadventure2004 The Mario treatment, perhaps...I know I'd play a "New Kirby's Dream Land" when HAL gets the itch to do more 2D games, wouldn't you?
@@SGrailadventure2004HAL pretty explicitly said that SA was supposed to be the final 2D game back when they were initially asked what "A farewell to Kirby" meant back in 2019, side stuff like Fighters 2 and remakes notwithstanding. Even verbatim saying it's "the end of that era for Kirby" as ironic for your comment as that is If we get more major 2D games like Star Allies it's gonna be an incredibly, incredibly long time.
@@JacobNintendoNerd99 Considering we got "Return to Dreamland Deluxe," I don't think this is the end of sidescrolling Kirby. I know it's a remake, but it shows the developers still wish to make 2D style games.
You've completed all the modes and beat all the bosses, you've got the highest scores and all the best times you can get. You've even completed all the puzzle pictures! ... That's it, you've done it all, I guess it's time to say farewell to Kirby for now. But, don't be sad. Your one of Kirby's star allies! He won't forget to bring you for his next adventure!
Goodbye Star Allies. You may not have been the best Kirby game, but you gave us an amazing soundtrack, a beautiful final boss battle, the return of wonderful characters and a ton of lore that changed the Kirby universe forever.
I dunno, there’s something about playing as loads and loads of characters in different story modes (albeit same bosses mostly) including former enemies that makes me think maybe his one is the best, at least in my opinion.
I dunno, I’m bittersweet on this game, it has so much visual and audial heart put into it, but the levels, and lack there of of them feels rushed out and lazy.
I love the small detail they added where it slows down near there end, like this is playing from an actual music box... Farewell Kirby, until we meet again!
I think this was recorded from an actual music box! I've heard music boxes before and I recognize the background noise as the sound of the wound up mechanism turning the cylinder!
I'm very interested in seeing where the series goes after this game, because it feels like it's going to be the last Kirby game as we traditionally know the series
@@starkamitheater721 That's the main reason why I think that we'll get more games. Who exactly are the Ancients? Where did they come from? What happened to them? What is the source of the Master Crown? What exactly caused the division between the two factions? Where exactly did Hyness and the Mage-Sisters come from?
Really makes you 「THINK」 well we know where the mage sisters came from based on there new pause descriptions but other than that it is still pretty unknown
This will forever be my favorite Kirby game. The story, the characters, the fan service, it's all perfect. Never in my life have I felt this much happiness, joy, and sadness towards a video game. See you around Kirby, I can't wait to see what you have for us next.
Maybe, in about eight years' time, we'll get a Kirby SUPER Star Allies, which expands upon the formula shown here - more friends, more content, more fun than ever before!
Reasons I shouldn't be sad: -Not the last Kirby game. -Rumors of a 3D Kirby plat former have been thrown around with chances of being true. -This game has replay value. Reasons I should be sad: THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO CRY AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!!!
TheAmazingDeltax - Who knows? Maybe once another major anniversary comes around, they’ll do this again with more character from both past and future games? What I’m saying is, HYNESS DREAM FRIEND... EVENTUALLY... MAYBE.
Dear Star Warrior: Hey, it has been a long run bud.. I'm glad that i've met you through my life. You've been special in many ways, and i just wanted to say.. Thank you. Thank you for this amazing journey of meeting new friends, and new enemies and bosses. Wow, i can still remember the first time i met you when i was.. 5. I hope to see you soon. I cant believe you are leaving so soon, way to soon. With tears falling from my eyes, I wish you an amazing great journey without me. All of us fans will miss you and hope that you come back. We love you Kirby, never forget us as your trustful and loyal audience and fans. We will miss you. Farewell, Kirby. Your loyal fan, Star Orange.
I can already see it now: Kirby is all ready to leave and all of his friends are with him to wish him luck on his departure. Bandana Waddle Dee: “I’m gonna miss you friend.” He gives Kirby a handshake. King Dedede: “I’m gonna miss our grand rivalry!” He gives Kirby a hug. Meta Knight: “You have trained well. I’m happy to see you grew up.” He tips Kirby’s shoulder areas with his Galaxia. Rick & Kine & Coo: “We are gonna miss our times we teamed up.” They give Kirby a last Animal Buddy ride. Marx: “I’m sorry I attempted world control. But I hope I’m all forgiven. Right?” Kirby gives Marx a hug for all is forgiven. Gooey: “Leaving? You? Now?” Gooey tosses Kirby in the air with his tongue. Adeleine: “I’m gonna miss the picnic moments.” Adeleine quickly paints Kirby a tomato for his departure. Ribbon: “I’M GONNA MISS YOU MY SWEETHEART.” Kirby and Ribbon hug each other with Ribbon crying and giving Kirby a kiss on the cheek and Kirby blushing again. Dark Meta Knight: “... You were alright.” Kirby and Dark Meta Knight just share a nod. Daroach: “It was fun finding treasures with you.” Daroach tips his hat and passes Kirby a strawberry shortcake. Magolor: “I shall remember me and you racing in our little theme park.” Magolor gives Kirby a Gem Apple as a reminder of him. Taranza: “I shall find a new queen, then tell her your stories.” Taranza hands Kirby a flower petal as well as the phantom of Sectonia giving Kirby a bow and Kirby doing the same. Susie: “I may not like the idea you killed my father, but I’m glad you saved the entire galaxy from destruction.” She letted Kirby control her Business Suit for some time. Kirby soon approaches his last 4 new friends... Francisca: “... Thank you...” Flamberge: “For setting our lives back.” Zan Partizanne: “To the way it was.” Hyness: “GROUP HUG!” They all hug Kirby as a thanks for the big help from the other dimension. Kirby was about to leave, but then looks behind them to see a pink puffball sitting looking down. Kirby approaches the little pink one. The puffball stands up, wiping his tears away. Kirb (Void Reincarnated): “Thank you Kirby. For giving me the life I’ve always dreamed about.” Kirby and Kirb hug each other with Kirby now tearing up. With all their goodbyes said, Kirby finally picks up his things and gifts and waves back to his friends, then wanders off into the sunset with a spring breeze blowing, now Kirby moving onto his next phase of life. (I’m sorry. It’s just this song makes me cry every time I look at the celebration picture.)
Bandanna Waddle Dee: What a swell adventure! I sure hope there's more next year. King Dedede: Just think of all the hundreds more stories to be told using the same 14 characters and 6 or more new locations. The possibilities are limitless! Meta Knight: Just to be on the safe side, maybe we should start an internet petition. Susie(typing on a tablet): Already on it. Magolor: Come on guys this is Kirby and Nintendo we're talking about, there's nothing to worry about. Kirby: POYO! (Hope you enjoy the reference)
Star Allies may have not been the most creative game in comparison to the 3DS titles, but it's definitely packed with some of the best content I've ever played. 13 fan-favorite playable characters, (15-16 if you count the three mages separately), additional modes that have some hardcore difficulty curves, and an incredible soundtrack. Star Allies was the perfect game to celebrate Kirby's 25th Anniversary, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they can come with in the future.
Kirby and his friends would sit there on the grass feeling the Spring Breeze. On the grass lay Bandana Dee, King Dedede, and Meta Knight. Bandana Dee stayed close to King Dedede while Meta Knight was behind them. The wind was nice while the mood felt heartbreaking. They all thought of all the quests and journies they had together. Even some of the rivalries that happened in the past. Everyone new that the void was finally full of positivity. Everyone had been saved already. So many dark matter destroyed. Bandana Dee felt ready as he took his final look at his picture book of his friends. A new world to enjoy, another chapter to a book. The wind suddenly became violent and there was a white light absorbing the sky. Kirby, Bandana Dee, King Dedede, and Meta Knight all cuddled closely, cherisng the moments in their heads. Before the bright light engulfed them. They knew they were ready for history to repeat itself, and friendships will be reformed again. As a new galaxy would be freshly made from scratch. They took one final look at eachother as the world vanished away. As a new Kirby would rewrite history.
Now the only thing left on the Star Allies hype train is waiting for the OST to come out February 2019. There'll hopefully be a bonus track or two, but most importantly we'll FINALLY get official names for all the songs. I really wish HAL would just put the song names in the sound test to begin with. It'd really help with reducing the confusion the fanbase has.
Thankfully, they fulfilled your wish in Forgotten Land. It wasn't something I wanted before, but now that it's there, I kinda wish they'd done it sooner.
The long battles have all been won... The Dark Hearts have been freed from their puppeted victims... The Mage-Sisters and Hyness have been defeated... Void Termina has been stopped... The Parallel Dimension traversed and Hyness saved... Void Soul and Astral Birth Void have been taken down... You can finally rest easy, Kirby. All of your friends too. You’ve all earned it. ...Well, not everything has been done yet. You might wanna prepare for what’s ahead as you go to another World of Light.
@@kirby771 doesn't matter. Mr. Sakurai was the one who created Kirby in his original 2D format. At this point, Mr. Kumazaki is the one changing Kirby into a 3D game.
morpho knight is technically canon in that he probably exists in the universe in general but the fights with him him never happen but yeah that butterfly is going to murder kirby
This brings so many memories back, from my first experience with the puffball to my last, Kirby truly had a charmed life, may we meet again one day old friend.
Wave 3 was definitely the send off we deserved. What a celebration of all the Kirby games of the past and present. I can't wait to see what the new Kirby game will be like.
LaughinGhost The New Kirby Game In 2019 Is ‘Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn’ , A Remake Of Kirby’s Epic Yarn With Some New Features Added To The Remake, The Music Soundtracks From Kirby’s Epic Yarn Returns To The Remake. Wish That They Will Also Have A Remake Or Sequel Of Kirby Air Ride And Kirby’s Return To Dream Land As Well.
Thank god this isnt the final kirby game, I was actually in tears hearing this and thinking this was the Final Farewell to kirby. I dont know what I would have done with out him, hes been in our lives for so long. It just wouldnt be the same without him.
What does this picture mean, though? Will Star Allies be the last Kirby game? Will Kirby retire and let -the true god Dedede- someone else become the protagonist? Why is a simple picture rising so many questions? And what's this shiny thing in my eyes...?
I like to believe it's a farewell to what has been the super star era of Kirby and HALS indication that there going to go in a different direction for there next game
Kirby has saved so many lives as in his games and super smash bros ultimate on the spirit mode and even when he was scared and alone or even when he lost his smile he still did it
To the forgotten land he goes…. Next phase.. Everyone says goodbye… a sorrow moment for them all.. void termina has been defeated, and all kirby’s enemies are now friends. A goodbye well earned… and a new forgotten land with a former hero.
After the reveal of Kirby the forgotten land, the puzzle picture where this song plays hits entirely different for me. I'm not the biggest fan of star allies tbh, but I would be lying if I told you this wasn't a good send-off to a next phase for the Kirby franchise.
This was such a special Kirby game, especially to someone who doesn't really have that much friends. This actually made me emotional by being able to work together with friends I made along the way to save the universe. Thank you, Kirby! See you in the next one, buddy.
I like how all of this emotional, intense chaos with the Three Mage-Sisters, Lord Hyness, and Void Termina is followed by a light-hearted Epic Yarn port.
What if the classic kirby in star allies is actually just a younger kirby born from the defeated astral birth void (aka a 2nd kirby) and the original, older kirby is waving goodbye to the newly born younger kirby and leaving popstar in the final puzzle art, along with the butterfly following the original kirby, leaving the newly born kirby to take the original kirby's place to defend popstar?
I can’t wait until the “next phase” in Kirby games. My guess is that we’ll start getting 3D games like how Mario shifted from 2D games to 3D games during the N64 era.
It's such a perfect sendoff of this era of Kirby. : you know who Kirby is, you know what Dark Matter is now, you get yourself technically Zero Three, All of the character you met from the past are here, and after 25 years of mystery it's finally to put everything to rest and start a new Era with The Forgotten Land, who knew what they have in store for us in the future
This song Its too emotional for my liking ok I am actually crying sorry I'm just a huge baby I know this isn't the last of the series but I dunno I'm getting too emotional But on the other hand, what is next for Kirby, we just had that hype train of a final boss with chunky lore. What is awaiting for us in the future
No you're not just a huge baby. I understand you completely! I mean, read the title of the soundtrack.. If you hear this soundtrack while reading the title, HAL really gives you the feeling that this would be the last Kirby game ever made..
Marks the end of the Popstar formula. In Forgotten Land, Kirby's just going somewhere entirely different. A different adventure away from home. At least Bandana Dee is coming with him for co-op!
I'm listening to this. Alone. In the dark of the night. "Why am I crying?" I ask myself. Fortunately, those are happy tears. The comments intensified my emotions too. I guess... I can't complain that I'm overly sentimental. Today, I discovered that it is, in fact, a good thing.
I really hope Kirby isn't the one who's leaving... Oh god I just realized what it all means... Kirby is leaving. The series is taking a new direction. No more Return to Dreamland types of gameplay, story, or characters. You get to play as all your old pals in this game because you'll never see them again. Kirby is leaving, and when he returns, nothing will be the same. All his friends will be gone again, like nothing ever happened. Everyone came together because they knew that. Kirby is leaving, but its okay. This adventure helped brighten up so many lives, real and fictional. Marx, Magolor, and all the other villains were redeemed. The lost souls of previous villains who didn't make it will finally rest and live on as butterflies. Hyness and his mages now live happily on Popstar. His work is done, so Kirby is leaving, but we can't ever say goodbye forever, only "see you again soon!" So if that's the case, why do I feel so sad about taking my first steps into a new age? Because Everyone else is leaving, and I didn't get the chance to say goodbye.
This tune, along with the puzzle picture and the context behind it all, brings to mind a parent waving goodbye to their child as they finally leave the nest to embark on their "next phase in life". And we, in a way, are the parent.
A great adventure with your best pals and the aid of people who once were your enemies, but now are in good terms. This game started off pretty weak, but it sure got better with every update and seeing our favorite characters helping each other was hearthwarming to say the least, not to mention the final battle was surprisingly epic. See you Kirby, I can't wait to accompany you in your next adventure!
"Oh, hello PLAYER! I'm assuming that's your real name, you wouldn't lie to us, would you?" "Well, you finally did it! You survived the Jamba Heart's wrath, you brought us all to space and back alive! You've made it to the ultimate credits roll at the end of the world! You beat the video game! And..." "... now I imagine you'll... shut it down. Move on with your life. Onwards and upwards, ey PLAYER?" "... perhaps this is presumptuous of me, but... must this really be the end of our time together? Perhaps you could take the game's save data, and transfer us somewhere else, hm? Maybe a USB drive, or spare floppy disc. You could take us with you, we could see the world, we could-" "_Ahem,_ I'm getting ahead of myself, surely. Well, the option's always there." "You changed our lives, PLAYER. I'd like to think it was for the better, and I don't know what's going to happen to us once you exit the game for good. But I know we'll never forget you." "I know you won't ever forget us." "... well... this is where I get off." "Goodbye, PLAYER!"
I hope Kirby has many more games on the Switch, and not just ports. If any connection to Star Allies is made in the next adventure, hopefully it has something to do with a person being reborn as... a friend.
Coming back to Kirby Star Allies after all this time makes me really happy with it’s beautiful smooth soundtrack and amazing graphics. It’s been a long journey and with Kirby and the Forgotten Land coming out soon it’s sure to be an even longer adeventure.
Honestly, after the wave 3 update, it did feel like it was... closing the book on something. Star allies felt like a celebratory game for Kirby's 25th anniversary, with all the dream friends and all that. It just released a bit late. While I didn't really hold Star Allies in much regard when it came out at first, with plenty of fan service, multiplayer enjoyment, and all the content released post launch, ESPECIALLY wave 3, I think we have something special here. Those who have played even a single mainline Kirby game will have gotten something to remember out of it, especially if they played Guest Star. I sure as hell being excited when Daroach was announced. Squeak Squad was my first mainline Kirby game, and I liked his design, so I was looking forward to playing as him. But anyway, with wave 3 being out and all the dream friends getting their moments to shine, I feel pretty confident in believing that this was the last RTDL-style game, and I don't think that's a bad thing. I think Kirby could do with going into a different direction. While I won't hold it in high regard as some other games, I will remember it fondly. It IS my most played Kirby game after all, thanks to the dream friends. Guess I'll be heading into the five mainline games I haven't played yet soon enough. I'd like to experience everything I haven't yet before heading into the next book.' I guess I just want to say... HAL, thank you. Thank you for making one of my favourite franchises. And to think it all started with Smash Melee, followed by Air Ride for me all these years ago.
This may not be the last Kirby game but it sure as hell feels like it, Kirby has redeemed a superpowered death god, Hyness and the mages have gotten in good terms with eachother and all and all,all of this seems to wrap up so smothly as HAL stated that this is the last time we'll see the RTDL formula and now we could be finally seeing a full fledged 3D Kirby game (Please note I do not count Battle Royale, Kirby Air Ride, or Kirby 3D Blast because for Kirby Air Ride, Kirby Air Ride was meant to be a racing game and K3DB and Battle Royale were probably both experiments of what a 3D Kirby game could be like.
Well, it implies that morpho knight may become cannon(That also means the same thing for galacta knight) and have a major role in the story. and nobody knows what to expect from kirby games now so yeah, I'm afraid of the next game's plot too...
He must say goodbye to his wonder Star Allies and go to a Forgotten Land. Our Superstar must go on another Adventure and hopefully Return to Dreamland, in which he will receive a Mass Attack of friendship. Lets hope it adds one more journey to our wonderful Dream Collection. Time for another Deluxe experience.
Franchises with consistently good games few and far between. Kirby is one such exception. Almost every game they release for the little guy is at least decent, and at most a masterpiece. Saying goodbye isn't easy. Especially to a friend who stuck it out with you during the hardest times. But know that someone, somewhere, is going to find him. And he'll have a chance to give their life a little spark of light, like he did yours. And like he did mine. I'd love to take that journey with him. But who knows if I'll be able to. At the very least, I hope that we meet again. Perhaps sometime soon, or in the distant future. I hope that, unlike me, Kirby never stops smiling. That his optimism and cheerfulness can keep making people happy.
Star allies may not be the best kirby game, but it sure has a special place in my heart. You can tell the developers have passion and love for the franchise, and it shines in every corner of the game. Thank you for such a wonderful experience ❤
This song... my heart can't take it... don't go, my pink friend. Our adventure through life has only begun. Thank you so much, HAL Labs, for this wonderful birthday present. For me, and for him too. We've grown so closely. Kirby has honestly been the first character I've ever been emotionally invested in, ever since I played Amazing Mirror at the age of 5. To see Kirby Star Allies, at its final and perfect form while I'm at the lively age of 21, is honestly the best gift ever. And no joke, the update went live on the evening of my birthday. This isn't goodbye forever, my pink friend... we WILL see each other again! I'm sure of it. Now go... go save the other fighters! Be the hero you were born to be! Show that winged freak who's boss!
I’m glad to see this part of the Kirby franchise have its end, and make way for the beginning of a new... but damn I’m gonna miss it so much, it felt like just a year ago I was a child who played super star ultra for the first time. Now I’m an adult...

I dOn’t CArE! I’M fINe WitHoUt yOu! I’m just kidding, PLEASE DON’T GOOOOOO! Gooey: Does this mean we’ll never see Kirby again? Can I come with him? Please? Magolor: What?! You can’t just leave us, Kirby! You’re what gets us up in the morning, you’re what motivates us to follow our dreams, you’re what makes everyone happy. Without you everyone will be sad and lonely. You’re the lifeblood of this planet. Ribbon: *crying* Please, Kirby! You mean so much to me! I can’t lose you! You’re my entire galaxy! I love you! Kirby: Woah! Guys! I won’t be gone forever! I’ll be back when the time is right. I just need to take a break, that’s all. Zan Partizanne: Please, Kirby! Stay with us! Don’t go!! Hyness: Please, Zan Partizanne. Let him go his own way. It’s my fault all this happened to begin with. I’ve allowed him to leave if he were so desired. And besides, he’s been through a lot throughout his life. I think he deserves a break. Zan Partizanne: You... remembered. Hyness: Yep... never forgot. Just got my tongue tied in a knot, I guess. Zan Partizanne: Thank you. Hyness. Meta Knight: Ladies and gentlemen, let the boy have his long deserved break. He’s been through way too much throughout his life. Let him go on his long trip alone. Even if it pains even me to see him leave. Ribbon: NO! Kirby, let me come with you, please!!! Kirby: Ribbon. I won’t be gone forever. I’ll be back before you know it. Ribbon: *sniff* Okay. I’ll miss you, Kirby. Kirby: I’ll miss you too. Ribbon: *kisses Kirby* Kirby: Thank you, Ribbon. Ribbon: I love you. Kirby: I love you too. Hyness: Kirby, before you go I would like to offer you a parting gift. *hands Kirby a phone* Kirby: Oh! A cellphone! Hyness: Susie and I have developed a phone for intergalactic communication. Use it if you ever feel lonely or you miss us. I’m sure talking on the phone would feel like we’re right next to you, will it not? Kirby: Thank you very much, Lord Hyness! Hyness: *chuckles* Thank you for all you’ve done, my child. You saved everyone in the universe. Including me. I thought I was lost for eternity but you saved me. You even saved Void. And for that I thank you. Kirby: *leaps for a hug* Thanks, Lord Hyness. Hyness: !!! *returns hug & cries* Thank YOU, Kirby. We all love you very much. We will miss you. Everyone: Goodbye, Kirby. Kirby: Goodbye everyone. And don’t worry. I’ll be safe on my travels. It’s gonna be a long trip but I’ll always keep you guys in mind. I will NEVER forget all of the great things you did for me. Thank you. I love you all.
Ian Oliver Keebe (Yellow Kirby): i'm going to miss you... Kirb: Poyo... (See you next time...) Me: it was great k-knowing you... K-Kirby. Please! Don't g-go! **cries**
Kirby In 2018: ‘You thought that this will be a final farewell to the series’? Kirby In 2022: ‘Not for long as I will be celebrating my 30th birthday with the release of a new 3D traditional game’. This song also kinda reminds me of Kiss The Rain for some reason as kind of a ‘slow-paced / emotional’ songs, the fact that this song represent as somewhat of a tribute to the series (although it will still continue beyond this game) while Kiss The Rain represent as a tribute to the first three generations of trains. Also, the relaxing version of the main theme in this game (simliar to ‘From those who departed for space’ from Kirby and the Forgotten Land)
It feels like i was watching the trailer Yesterday... When i was a kid, i loved Kirby games so much. My dad even offered me his copy of Kirby's dream land from his childhood. I stopped playing games since kirby's return to dream land, with magolor. I missed a whole trilogy of new villains, but i'm so glad i'm back in the game..i missed you, Kirby.
_As the spring breeze blows, a young traveler appears._ _After greeting new friends and bidding farewell to old ones, his path has finally led him here._
Man, this game was just like the Endgame for this chapter in Kirby's games. With everyone gathering up in a gigantic crossover, and to another phase later. I'm gonna miss this formula of games. Who knows, maybe a new kirby? since we know that Kirby is just a good Void, and of course kirb, we might get a new kirby. The one we know and love might be going to take a sweet nap, while this one has adventures in the spring breeze. Thank you Kirby. Thank you Star Allies. Thank you Hal.
no matter the public view of Star Allies, ill always love it for simply being a fun time for me and my younger sister, its what got me invested in Kirby completely, after 100% completing the game and getting this Puzzle i almost shed a tear. Kirby means so much to me no matter what and this Magical Game really helped me love Kirby even more. and with Forgotten Land, Dream Buffet and Rtdl Deluxe, Star Allies in in the past to let this new era shine. Farewell Star Allies, and Thank You Kirby, Thank You So Much.
It was truly an honor to celebrate in Kirby's true 25th anniversery game. See you all in dreamland in the next phase. As for me, I have a nap to take under an apple tree.
Look back at the long time you have been with the pink puffball and the joy he brought to all of us in our hearts up to today ... It's been a grand one hasn't it???
Thank you HAL for everything you brought to the table at this point. For what direction you’ll take for the series, I hope it’s filled with love, magic and care.
Kirby: All my friends.... taken by that so called Galeem. No, I won’t give up. *Kirby remembered what Galeem could do.* No, I can’t he’s too powerful, and i’ll die. But, what’s the point of living a life without Dedede, Meta Knight, Luigi, Yoshi, and the others. Agh, I have nothing to lose, i’ll go. *He looks into the new world, ready challenge.* Kirby: Here I go... *INSERT YOUR JOURNEY OF WORLD OF LIGHT HERE.*
Games this big scare me... it makes me feel like the series won’t be running for much longer... I hope it does. The pink puffball has touched the hearts of too many people to be forgotten after only 25 years. One more time... Star Allies... lets go
This song has a feeling of: congratulations. You finally beat it, you may finally rest. Everything is done, you friended everyone. The meantime, rest until the next time we cross paths. So long old pal
And with that, the entire Kirby fandom became depressed as all heck at the end of November 2018. Well, until they remembered that Extra Epic Yarn was releasing in a few months time that is. In all seriousness though, I don't cry at stuff too much, but this... it made me shed a few tears. I'm not ashamed to admit it.
I didn't think Kirby music could make me cry. It did exactly twice now, both in this specific game. First, Astral Birth Void's theme, now this. See you next game, puffball.
With Star Allies, one era ends. With Forgotten Land, a new one begins.
Couldn’t have said it better
I’ll for sure miss the 2D style but I’ve been enjoying how they’ve done 3D. Though it doesn’t mean they won’t return to it ever again

shinya kumazaki has confirmed that star allies and all its updates were meant to be a grand sendoff to the recent formula of the kirby series by celebrating everything that helped lead up to this point.

I wonder what the next phase is...
What do they mean as "the next phase"!? I'm scared.

"... now I imagine you'll... shut it down. Move on with your life. Onwards and upwards, ey PLAYER?"
"... perhaps this is presumptuous of me, but... must this really be the end of our time together? Perhaps you could take the game's save data, and transfer us somewhere else, hm? Maybe a USB drive, or spare floppy disc. You could take us with you, we could see the world, we could-"
"_Ahem,_ I'm getting ahead of myself, surely. Well, the option's always there."
"You changed our lives, PLAYER. I'd like to think it was for the better, and I don't know what's going to happen to us once you exit the game for good. But I know we'll never forget you."
"I know you won't ever forget us."
"... well... this is where I get off."
"Goodbye, PLAYER!"
Doctor Coomer moment
I hope Kirby has many more games on the Switch, and not just ports. If any connection to Star Allies is made in the next adventure, hopefully it has something to do with a person being reborn as... a friend.
We could get a remake to Kirby's Dreamland 2. Hal has the assets to make it.
I'm not crying
I'M NOT CRYING
(Starts crying)
I'd like to experience everything I haven't yet before heading into the next book.'
I guess I just want to say...
But wut about the Butterfly; he seems important. Perhaps we'll see him soon.
Yeah, that description is forshadowing something. "judgment day", that's forshadowing if i've ever heard it.
@@minecattheidiot609 if a god of destruction about to destroy an entire dimension isn't judgement day, I'm afraid of the plot of the next Kirby game.
Well, it implies that morpho knight may become cannon(That also means the same thing for galacta knight) and have a major role in the story. and nobody knows what to expect from kirby games now so yeah, I'm afraid of the next game's plot too...
@@minecattheidiot609 dem Morpho Knight EX combos tho. I need him in Smash as DLC now (although DeeLC is more important).
Title Dropping
Aw man, you’re making me want to go to Dreamland 2
This makes me more sad than it should
Franchises with consistently good games few and far between.
It's been nice knowing you, Kirby.
I will always remember you.
Meta Knight: What?! You’re leaving?!
Kirby: Yeah. I just need a biiig long break from all the chaos. So, and I’m sorry to say this, but I won’t be able to see any of my friends for such a long time.
Dark Meta Knight & Daroach: ...
Bandana Waddle Dee: You’re our best friend! What will we do without you?
Adeleine: *crying* I’ll miss you so much, Kirby.
Francisca: *crying* But we only just got to know you!
Susie: *crying* I’m really gonna miss you, Pinky.
King Dedede & Flamberge: *balling their eyes out* KIRBY, DON’T GO!
Taranza: I’ve lost far too much in my life! Why must I lose more friends?!
Marx: Fine. Fine! We don’t need you! I don’t need you! You can... can just... *sniff* go on your stupid vacation!
Ribbon: *kisses Kirby*
Kirby: Thank you, Ribbon.
Ribbon: I love you.
Kirby: I love you too.
Hyness: Kirby, before you go I would like to offer you a parting gift. *hands Kirby a phone*
Kirby: Oh!
Ian Oliver touching 😢
Thank you.
Ian Oliver
Keebe (Yellow Kirby): i'm going to miss you...
Kirb: Poyo... (See you next time...)
Me: it was great k-knowing you... K-Kirby. Please! Don't g-go! **cries**
That was so beautiful. :')
Thank you.
A true reward for staying on this wild ride.
_As the spring breeze blows, a young traveler appears._
_After greeting new friends and bidding farewell to old ones, his path has finally led him here._
The theme holds a lot more weight now with the new announcements. I knew it was gonna happen i just didn’t think it would hit me this hard
Nothing says "Thanks for playing all the way to the end! See you later!" Quite like a music box. That instrument always tugs the heartstrings.
Been playing kirby since 2014. I'm shocked to see how far it's come.
Welcome back Kirby, we missed you :')
This should be re-titled "A lullaby for a star warrior"
Rip Escargoon for Star Allies
This is so sad
Alexa, play *sad music*
R.I.P 03 as final boss
Isn't Escargoon an anime exclusive character?
@@arod9514 Yes, but he has a small cameo in Mass Attack.
2006man That’s the thing though
Mass Attack isn’t canon, thus thus is why Escargoon sadly can’t come to the main series Kirby games...
Look back at the long time you have been with the pink puffball and the joy he brought to all of us in our hearts up to today ... It's been a grand one hasn't it???
Why am I getting emotional over friggin DLC ending!?
I'm not crying you are.
" A Farewell to Kirby"
" Welcome back, Kirby"
Thank you HAL for everything you brought to the table at this point. For what direction you’ll take for the series, I hope it’s filled with love, magic and care.
Kirby: All my friends.... taken by that so called Galeem. No, I won’t give up. *Kirby remembered what Galeem could do.*
No, I can’t he’s too powerful, and i’ll die. But, what’s the point of living a life without Dedede, Meta Knight, Luigi, Yoshi, and the others. Agh, I have nothing to lose, i’ll go.
*He looks into the new world, ready challenge.*
Kirby: Here I go...
*INSERT YOUR JOURNEY OF WORLD OF LIGHT HERE.*
Loafity Loafers *CALMING MYSELF SO I DON’T THROW MY SWITCH FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO PASS GALEEM’S SHIELD*
Loafity Loafers and don’t forgets dharkon Kirby have to defeat him too
Games this big scare me... it makes me feel like the series won’t be running for much longer... I hope it does. The pink puffball has touched the hearts of too many people to be forgotten after only 25 years. One more time... Star Allies... lets go
well we know where Kirby went now...
he forgor the land 💀
This song has a feeling of: congratulations. You finally beat it, you may finally rest. Everything is done, you friended everyone. The meantime, rest until the next time we cross paths. So long old pal
You accomplished friendship. You can rest now that you’re task is done
A few years later and here we are, the series running wild to an extra epic era!
star allies was basically a Nostalgia trip you have to pay for. and I'm perfectly okay with that
The end of an era.
I didn't think Kirby music could make me cry. It did exactly twice now, both in this specific game. First, Astral Birth Void's theme, now this.
See you next game, puffball.
