Yeah, him not having a cool down makes it a broken perk. We normally hunt in packs so unless he gets the drop on use, we usually flank the sides when someone is charging
The biggest issue with Dozer is his buffed shield melee hitbox. The 1.5m range on it sometimes makes it impossible to dodge and just makes it a frustrating experience.
... and almost impossible to defib him. I actually just tried it in a match just now, no effect, while he just hit me with the shield (he was camping in the corner, not moving)
Wow no proper counter for dozer at all he's just out he blocking tank shells and rocket pods casually and dozer mains are saying theirs no problem with him
Before the patch you could consistently get behind him by jumping from the side and shoot his back, it required a bit of practice and good timing but once you learned it, you had a great chance of winning CQB encounters with him, was risky to do but effective if pulled off correctly. Right now you can't do that as for some reason they decided to increase his rotation speed while shielding which is completely unreasonable. It was just fine before and you could easily get a lot of kills with him even before this buff. Now it fells that you're absolutely helpless with him close by. Even if you bring incendiary grenades with you, the damage output is not enough to kill him if he keeps walking. Yesterday I had a situation where I was ambushed by Dozer in the underground area and I tried to 1v1 him with all tricks I could think about. We spent like two minutes here with him chasing me in a circle and me trying to expose him. He could've killed me several times by just equipping his gun while I wasn't looking at him but instead he decided to make me sweat as he knew I can do nothing about it, lol.
My response to that was be dozer and shield fight xD both our squads ended up just trying to dominate the tunnel 2 dozers each with gunners following up, ended up finding fun ways to deal with them but I don't remember them since I haven't played in a while and it was chaos everyone switching things up constantly. Sph launchers on the walls they charge by was fun for a while, mostly watching the dozers run by and their teammates not knowing it's there running behind them lol lots a double kills cause it was peppered in thought the match not always consistent, lots a jumping over them and shooting the back on stairs 2 nasty defib disrespects cause that shits always hilarious no matter the battlefield #
Defib and side step/spinning around him are the easiest. Defib is the most fun and frustrating for them. The range is better than you think in my experience. Most people immediately panic and that’s what gives Dozer easy kills
Yeah, figured that out months ago, don't run away. Just stand there like u didn't even notice him to bait him into rushing you and just when he's in range you jump forward-left or right and shoot him in the back. I don't know why people complain about it. It's like if you play any game dealing with animals/monsters that charge, you just roll/dodge to the side, preferably a bit forward, then u get a juicy strike from behind.

NTW-50 should 1 shot the glass. If you use Anti-Armor ammo it should 1 shot the player through the shield._ _4. Railgun should penetrate armor._ _5. All other "Armor Piercing Ammo" should penetrate the shield and do reduced damage._ _6. Player should not be able to sprint as fast (or at all) whilst using the shield._ _7. Shield Animation should have more delay._
Also the shield could work like how they do it in rainbow six siege like u can shoot with ur pistol while holding the shield but it will let people shoot your arm instead and kill you
They had the glass breaking on the BF4 Riot Shield, it was good but that window was small enough so it's not a large issue, Dozer's window is massive and at that point completely negates even using the shield at all if it were implemented Still he's more of a rarity on the field than any other operator and not much of an issue
this helps buff an otherwise worthless ammo even if just a little. The infantry damage on it is already bad and you have to sacrifice an ammo attachment slot just for a situational Dozer so it doesn't completely break things.

Do you knoe how incredibly useless a dozer would be if you could shoot THROUGH his shield? The shield might as well not exist at all. Doesn't matter if it's a niche ammo, the interaction shouldn't exist at all. I'd be pissed if I was playing Falck but the enemy team was using some stupid anti heal ammo that completely removed all of my utility 24/7

It’s a game. Don’t try and make it realistic. I wish they made a big fat guy who’s lard would absorb a tank round. I wish they made a long bow with exploding arrows that you could fire faster. I’d like to see them add a sword or a ninja themed character with throwing stars
I would also suggest quickly jumping on a box/crate/container if you panic and one of those is near you since he cannot climb with the shield on. Of course this leaves you a bit more exposed, but you can counter him from the top. Also the hitboxes even when facing a Dozer up front are a bit inconsistent, so you can carefully shoot the sides with just a little offset from his shield and that also does regular damage.
I still think Dozier's shield should crack and reduce his visibility when hit with bullets. He should even get knocked around when Explosives hit the shield, he shouldn't be planted like a tree and able to just continue moving forward through them. C5 should give at least a 80% damage or a mechanic that changes the angle of the shield, essentially what I'm saying is he should loose some control so he cant keep it sqaured up all the time.
I T1ed Dozer pre update. And it was tough at first, but then using smoke nades and the smoke launcher made it a lot easier. Now, it’s a little too easy. Especially with these waves of new players we have been getting lately.
I am so glad there's an op with a shield that makes him immune to shape charges that penetrate the armor on M1 Abrams and turn up-armoreds in to smoldering wrecks. Super cool design choice.
The defibs have always been a fun way to kill - especially Dozers because they have an invincibility complex, which obviously has been buffed since the buff. His increase in range is huge though, so it takes much more skill and some strategy now, but it's more satisfying. I don't think he needs a nerf - his back & sides are usually wide open with the invincibility complex but the defibs need a range buff to put them back the previous ratio.
They should give the shield 500 health, or something. Once it breaks it can have a short recharge. The big mistake was making it made out of vibranium.
After seeing this, Dozer's shield needs a nerf. I'm sorry, an RPG is a shaped charge designed for anti-armor, and 120 MM Sabot round should completely penetrate that shield. Dozer has more armor than a main battle TANK. I'd be ok with him being impervious to small arms, but the explosives should all make him at minimum step back and make him vulnerable. 20 mm crew served weapons and above should kill him.
Stepping around dozer and killing him behind is not possible unless he is really bad at the game or is targeting someone else. His buffed turn speed and melee range mean that it is impossible to get behind him without getting whacked. If you are outside of melee range he can turn faster than you can sidestep, and if you are inside melee range you are dead.
I almost bought the game and then I see this clip, a character not just walking, but running around with a shield and essentially stopping autocannon rounds from an AFV, rpgs and tank rounds, wtf man...
that SPH with no dmg is new. I used to use those against dozer and they worked before even stuck to the shield. Something must have changed. I got melee'd from behind playing Dozer this weekend as I was getting a multi-kill with the shield, so that works, and I felt appropriately 'dissed'.

I don't know why but when I was using the SFAR I was consistently able to one shot Dozers with the under barrel grenade launcher at close range shooting directly at his shield. I think it might have something to do with the grenade not detonating. It's probably a bug in that case.
You mentioned the incendiary grenade is probably the best soldier weapon to kill Dozer but you glossed over the incendiary grenade launchers. I run them default on my SFAR just for Dozers. It explodes on their shield and they loose all health in like 2 seconds.
@@Masta_E You are aware that Smoke grenades actually put out the fire from the incendiary grenades right? So if you throw a smoke grenade and fire a Incendiary GL into the smoke it won't effect them because the smoke will snuff out the flames before they can do any damage.

Dozer has been my main on PS4Pro and since his buffing I've been having a harder time, maybe just flukes, but I'm still getting shot through it. The range is inconsistent for the melee. I've had opponents jump to the side and get beside for a side kill. I thought it would be way too easy but I am not getting the same results as presented here. I've been killed with my feet exposed with rockets, etc. I think there are issues on last gen with his superiority. It felt more consistent prior to his update.
Place C5 on the floor. Once Dozer walks over it, blow him up. If you only have bullets crouch and shoot his feet as he is running. If he puts the shield down climb at the nearest point.
Once a good Dozer player see you tossing C5, he knows you are not holding a weapon and he’ll drop the shield and either hit you with a throwing knife or shoot you before you can swap to a weapon
So learning that the shock paddles kills dozer was a game changer for me as I mostly play medic in close quarters. I've manage to win about 50% of battles now with this knowledge. I'm sure I'll learn the timing and distance better and increase my percentage. It's so sweet to kill dozer with paddles. Thanks!
The hitbox and movement speed are my biggest issues I literally got shield bashed while in the jeep even though it physically couldn't fit through the door. It's like the shield is shooting and invisible 1 hot wave out. Also for the love of god, C4 at point blank should be a one shot on him. Or add a stagger effect. It's just goofy right now.
I've had a late start to BF2042. Love it. I was a big bf4 player. I just find it funny that one push from the shield can kill you, But a shot from any gun to the chest. The player continues to run at full speed. The shield definitely needs to be nerfed. Shield takes no skill. This video was funny and hilarious. Dude took a missle launcer and stood there like nothing 😂😂😂. So, the shield gives players super human strength to hild up to a missle. Guy should've been flying.
I like baiting him around a corner where I've hastily laid out my 2 or 3 c5 and wait for him to run past it to detonate :) I don't always get lucky but when I do it's a sweet reversal.
Even call of duty made it so that a riot shield took two hits on a player to kill them. Dozer’s shield needs to take two hits to kill a player. Buffing his movement speed, turning speed, and increased melee hit box is just wrong.
I've been using incendiaries (gadget and launched) all the time to kill him. I honestly find them to be the best grenades anyways, since I typically only use grenades when people are headglitching or ducking in and out of cover. Often grenades dont do enough damage to really make a difference. The AOE of the incendiary also often gives me multikills. Even in CQB I just stay calm and move backwards throwing incendiaries in front of him. Players often drop their shield to try and shoot/throwing knife you if you dont panic when facing him. I think this issue really is that players panic and/or zerg rush him. Leg shots are easy if you are calm, and he's kind of fat so even with his shield up you can clip his sides with bullets if he's not perfectly facing you directly while crouching...this is usually enough to make the average dozer player either start charging, or swap to a weapon.
Tbh Dozer should probably just be removed from the game. Your options when you meet a vehicle are to temporarily change your playstyle to kill it or spawn somewhere else. Your options with Dozer? Well he can be anywhere so your only option is to permanently change your playstyle based around countering him all the time. You don't even get the satisfaction of killing a vehicle when you kill him and yet he's just as bad.
Thanks for the vid -- just putting it out there, but a great counter to Dozer is another Dozer. Your shield blocks theirs, and then it's just a matter of who's the better side-stepper. To the best of my knowledge, you can't shield bash Dozer's toes -- it's got to be a side step. I really enjoy him (playing and facing off against), I hope he doesn't get nerfed out of existence with all the attention it's getting lately.

Even the thing that counters him doesn't always work. When you infiltrate a tight space naturally people will throw smokes so your incendiary nades won't work and couple of dozers can make it a nightmare to attack/defend.
As a Rainbow Six Siege player I have been conditioned to immediately aim at toes when I see a shield. I have had zero issues taking out dozers as they charge at me.
The player should, if he is playing Dozer and is hit with a missile or by an explosion, get a tinitus sound and only be able to see blurry for a certain time. Would allow the other player to run away or possibly get a better chance to get behind Dozer to eliminate him. And what others wrote - the HP value of the shield should be lowered.
I don't get killed by dozer often but usually my favourite ways to kill a dozer are c5 ambush, get high ground on him with Mackay or use zains airburst
I'll try the defib - thanks :-) I've actually used it in play and you don't need to get as close as you show with it to kill somebody, so maybe I can get a dozer before the shield bash? I hope so...
The tactic used to be to circle strafe him using slides and you could out turn his shield, but thats increasingly hard now, especially at closer ranges. Honestly the best tactic you have now is to run into your nearest teammates and make the Dozer choose between shooting you in the back, and getting shot by your teammates.
I've used Dozer and have over 20,000kills with him. Use anything fire related to kill em fast. Also C4 is a good way to kill him fast. The thing that makes him so OP is how quickly you can bring up and drop his shield. Unless you have fire weaponry like incendiary tubes or nades he's pretty hard to counter
Rainbow six does shield operators right imo. they aren’t crazy fast, if they get too close without killing you, you can mele them, they sort of stumble backwards then you can shoot them.
DICE always does a phenomenal Job with mechanics like that. WTF? I got him several time with a SPH launcher fired to a wall next to him so he runs past it and it explodes in his back or fired directly behind him.
I just keep standing there in fear accepting my fate when I see dozer charging towards me, I shake my controller to indicate no to the person playing as dozer but he shows no mercy and proceeds to bludgeon me to death 😂😂
de fibs is the way to go surprised it took this long for everyone to realise they also counter his hit with timing the de fibs have quite some distance to you don't need to be that close to him they just work
Yes but they have slightly increased Dozer's melee range to be further than the Defib range so you have to be really lucky to get a defib kill on them.

Maybe it will work, but most likely unlikely)) I managed to kill the dozer with a grenade launcher with a high-explosive charge by shooting him in the legs when he ran at me and using C5, throwing a charge behind his back. Shooting legs with bullets on a controller isn't very easy(( + they buffed the radius... no comment. What's interesting to me is that the community of this game is interested and agrees that the "developers" are going by reducing the dependence on the skill of the players, providing mechanics for an "easy" game: Boris's turret, at the start of the game, Pike's legal wall hack, Dozer from the very beginning of the game, Zane's airburst, SPH grenade launcher, no need for refueling and replenishment of ammunition for ground and air vehicles, ntw 50 and something I definitely forgot. Bro the rpg and the launchers are literally designed to shred past armor and explode past that. Thats how they are even able to damage tanks and armored vehicles. Direct hit missiles should definetly kill him straight up.
We had rat Mckay being obnoxious now we have Dozer taking care of what Mckay couldn't aka floor 0 level. For years the counterplay to 'riot shields' was explosive spam alas we also give him flak jacket AND he can swap in and out of it so fast that if you see him and try to 180 and tac sprint he can draw and shoot.
The hit box isn't too big. I personally Tier 1 Dozer myself and it was a challenge getting all those kills. I've gotten killed in the feet more times than I can count. If someone is close enough to him they deserve to die. You can easily run away from Dozer if several people are shooting at him with his shield 🛡️ out. The purpose of using Dozer is to help push the team forward in a stalemate if a team is having difficulty moving forward. So if you reduce his hit box on his shield too much Dozer becomes pointless to use. I honestly think he's balanced enough. You just need to learn how to counter Dozer.
@@fotis3v480 Even if there's no window to shoot his head. You can just shoot a rocket at Crawford. Through C5 at him. Shoot a vehicle gun at him. Flank him from the side. Or simply keep shooting at his Vulcan minigun and it will be destroyed. Crawford is the worse specialist to master in Battlefield 2042 right now.
So tldr, there's no (GUARANTEED) effective counter against Dozer until he's nerfed. Obviously hopping around to get beside/behind him is the most effective. I successfully defibbed him once last week, my first attempt. Not sure if luck or not, but will try again and see. Of course in the heat of the moment when you have like 3 seconds to deal with him I usually panic and run away like an idiot lol...
If they are smart they would carry a Smoke grenade to counter that (even though yes it will leave them open for a counter attack) since smoke grenades snuff out the flames of a incendiary grenade rendering that method useless.
Really think his Shield should have a HP value and once it gets hit enough, it breaks and goes on a cooldown for awhile before coming back.

I just tested it and the shield range is 2.5m
They need to nerf the range a tad and buff the spread.
No one talks about the incendiary grenade since bf1 I feel like dice has reduced the damage or the range of the incendiary grenade

i tried that a few times but the melee range of the shild is so huge they just hit you on the box from the ground.

After seeing this, Dozer's shield needs a nerf. I'm sorry, an RPG is a shaped charge designed for anti-armor, and 120 MM Sabot round should completely penetrate that shield. Dozer has more armor than a main battle TANK. I'd be ok with him being impervious to small arms, but the explosives should all make him at minimum step back and make him vulnerable. 20 mm crew served weapons and above should kill him.
I think the Airburst is effective; either I’ve gotten lucky but it usually clears the Dozers out or allows me to get that shield away animation
I’ve killed a few Dozers camping in corners using the SPH. Stick it to the wall above and behind them.
Stepping around dozer and killing him behind is not possible unless he is really bad at the game or is targeting someone else. His buffed turn speed and melee range mean that it is impossible to get behind him without getting whacked. If you are outside of melee range he can turn faster than you can sidestep, and if you are inside melee range you are dead.
I almost bought the game and then I see this clip, a character not just walking, but running around with a shield and essentially stopping autocannon rounds from an AFV, rpgs and tank rounds, wtf man...
that SPH with no dmg is new. I used to use those against dozer and they worked before even stuck to the shield. Something must have changed. I got melee'd from behind playing Dozer this weekend as I was getting a multi-kill with the shield, so that works, and I felt appropriately 'dissed'.

I don't know why but when I was using the SFAR I was consistently able to one shot Dozers with the under barrel grenade launcher at close range shooting directly at his shield. I think it might have something to do with the grenade not detonating. It's probably a bug in that case.
The fact alone that you need to make a video detailing how to counter Dozer proves that he's OP. No other character warrants this kind of treatment.

You mentioned the incendiary grenade is probably the best soldier weapon to kill Dozer but you glossed over the incendiary grenade launchers.
I run them default on my SFAR just for Dozers. It explodes on their shield and they loose all health in like 2 seconds.

@@Masta_E You are aware that Smoke grenades actually put out the fire from the incendiary grenades right? So if you throw a smoke grenade and fire a Incendiary GL into the smoke it won't effect them because the smoke will snuff out the flames before they can do any damage.
@@darkstar_sierra1588 yep. I prefer using smokes as they keep you alive and give your team the ability to push, but sometimes you need the flamey boy to kill dozer. I don't use them together.
Dozer has been my main on PS4Pro and since his buffing I've been having a harder time, maybe just flukes, but I'm still getting shot through it. The range is inconsistent for the melee. I've had opponents jump to the side and get beside for a side kill. I thought it would be way too easy but I am not getting the same results as presented here. I've been killed with my feet exposed with rockets, etc. I think there are issues on last gen with his superiority. It felt more consistent prior to his update.
Place C5 on the floor. Once Dozer walks over it, blow him up. If you only have bullets crouch and shoot his feet as he is running. If he puts the shield down climb at the nearest point.
Once a good Dozer player see you tossing C5, he knows you are not holding a weapon and he’ll drop the shield and either hit you with a throwing knife or shoot you before you can swap to a weapon
So learning that the shock paddles kills dozer was a game changer for me as I mostly play medic in close quarters. I've manage to win about 50% of battles now with this knowledge. I'm sure I'll learn the timing and distance better and increase my percentage. It's so sweet to kill dozer with paddles. Thanks!
The hitbox and movement speed are my biggest issues I literally got shield bashed while in the jeep even though it physically couldn't fit through the door. It's like the shield is shooting and invisible 1 hot wave out. Also for the love of god, C4 at point blank should be a one shot on him. Or add a stagger effect. It's just goofy right now.

I've had a late start to BF2042. Love it. I was a big bf4 player. I just find it funny that one push from the shield can kill you, But a shot from any gun to the chest. The player continues to run at full speed. The shield definitely needs to be nerfed. Shield takes no skill. This video was funny and hilarious. Dude took a missle launcer and stood there like nothing 😂😂😂. So, the shield gives players super human strength to hild up to a missle. Guy should've been flying.

I like baiting him around a corner where I've hastily laid out my 2 or 3 c5 and wait for him to run past it to detonate :) I don't always get lucky but when I do it's a sweet reversal.
Even call of duty made it so that a riot shield took two hits on a player to kill them. Dozer’s shield needs to take two hits to kill a player. Buffing his movement speed, turning speed, and increased melee hit box is just wrong.
I've been using incendiaries (gadget and launched) all the time to kill him. I honestly find them to be the best grenades anyways, since I typically only use grenades when people are headglitching or ducking in and out of cover. Often grenades dont do enough damage to really make a difference. The AOE of the incendiary also often gives me multikills.
Even in CQB I just stay calm and move backwards throwing incendiaries in front of him. Players often drop their shield to try and shoot/throwing knife you if you dont panic when facing him. I think this issue really is that players panic and/or zerg rush him. Leg shots are easy if you are calm, and he's kind of fat so even with his shield up you can clip his sides with bullets if he's not perfectly facing you directly while crouching...this is usually enough to make the average dozer player either start charging, or swap to a weapon.
the shield should not be a onetap. make it a 2 tap and it would be sort or balanced, it would give you more time to deal with him.
I've been oneshot through the shield by C5 a bunch of times through Blast Resistant, so I do wonder if latency affects things
Interesting i detonated 3 c5 right next to dowzer and he didn't even take any damage. C5 is really inconsistent against dowzer.
Tbh Dozer should probably just be removed from the game. Your options when you meet a vehicle are to temporarily change your playstyle to kill it or spawn somewhere else. Your options with Dozer? Well he can be anywhere so your only option is to permanently change your playstyle based around countering him all the time.
You don't even get the satisfaction of killing a vehicle when you kill him and yet he's just as bad.
Me personally I counter him by just playing Bf1 and Bf4 instead if 2042...
Thanks for the vid -- just putting it out there, but a great counter to Dozer is another Dozer. Your shield blocks theirs, and then it's just a matter of who's the better side-stepper. To the best of my knowledge, you can't shield bash Dozer's toes -- it's got to be a side step. I really enjoy him (playing and facing off against), I hope he doesn't get nerfed out of existence with all the attention it's getting lately.

Lis is a bigger asshole. Same with Mackay. He is fine and won't be prevalent forever.
Even the thing that counters him doesn't always work. When you infiltrate a tight space naturally people will throw smokes so your incendiary nades won't work and couple of dozers can make it a nightmare to attack/defend.
As a Rainbow Six Siege player I have been conditioned to immediately aim at toes when I see a shield. I have had zero issues taking out dozers as they charge at me.
The player should, if he is playing Dozer and is hit with a missile or by an explosion, get a tinitus sound and only be able to see blurry for a certain time.
Would allow the other player to run away or possibly get a better chance to get behind Dozer to eliminate him.
And what others wrote - the HP value of the shield should be lowered.
There is one thing that wasn't mentioned. Running Dozer over with vehicles. I wondered if that has been tried.
It does work. I drove a CAV-Brawler over one, after my gunner hit him with 25mm cannon rounds, to no effect.
I don't get killed by dozer often but usually my favourite ways to kill a dozer are c5 ambush, get high ground on him with Mackay or use zains airburst
I'll try the defib - thanks :-) I've actually used it in play and you don't need to get as close as you show with it to kill somebody, so maybe I can get a dozer before the shield bash? I hope so...
How to deal with a dozer: run away and ignore him. Let your teammates deal with it.
I love it when they run away. Free back shot.
The tactic used to be to circle strafe him using slides and you could out turn his shield, but thats increasingly hard now, especially at closer ranges.
Honestly the best tactic you have now is to run into your nearest teammates and make the Dozer choose between shooting you in the back, and getting shot by your teammates.
Can’t wait to see the dozer’s reaction to getting shocked by the defibs
I've used Dozer and have over 20,000kills with him. Use anything fire related to kill em fast. Also C4 is a good way to kill him fast. The thing that makes him so OP is how quickly you can bring up and drop his shield. Unless you have fire weaponry like incendiary tubes or nades he's pretty hard to counter

The incendiary grenade does get you a few hit points off him, but dozer players just walk through it and shield bash you anyway.
Once you get the timing right, defib kills on Dozers are insanely fun. We now search out all Dozers
so explosives are effective against dozer but only behind him with his shield out so with c5 it only takes two to kill him if placed behind him
You didn't test the underbarrel AP grenade launcher? In my experience it straight up one taps through the shield.....
A knife to the neck isn’t a one shot but god forbid the shield from interacting with the electromagnetic field from your kneecaps
Rainbow six does shield operators right imo. they aren’t crazy fast, if they get too close without killing you, you can mele them, they sort of stumble backwards then you can shoot them.
I throw inc grenade which gives 40% damage but it makes the Dozer run and I have enough window to shoot its feet.

DICE always does a phenomenal Job with mechanics like that. WTF? I got him several time with a SPH launcher fired to a wall next to him so he runs past it and it explodes in his back or fired directly behind him.
I just keep standing there in fear accepting my fate when I see dozer charging towards me, I shake my controller to indicate no to the person playing as dozer but he shows no mercy and proceeds to bludgeon me to death 😂😂
de fibs is the way to go surprised it took this long for everyone to realise they also counter his hit with timing the de fibs have quite some distance to you don't need to be that close to him they just work
Yes but they have slightly increased Dozer's melee range to be further than the Defib range so you have to be really lucky to get a defib kill on them.
I love playing as dozer. He has so many options and everyone hates you..win win

I managed to kill the dozer with a grenade launcher with a high-explosive charge by shooting him in the legs when he ran at me and using C5, throwing a charge behind his back. Shooting legs with bullets on a controller isn't very easy(( + they buffed the radius... no comment.
What's interesting to me is that the community of this game is interested and agrees that the "developers" are going by reducing the dependence on the skill of the players, providing mechanics for an "easy" game: Boris's turret, at the start of the game, Pike's legal wall hack, Dozer from the very beginning of the game, Zane's airburst, SPH grenade launcher, no need for refueling and replenishment of ammunition for ground and air vehicles, ntw 50 and something I definitely forgot. How did we come to this? Is this exactly what we want from a game called Battlefield? Thank you. Sincerely, Papadeus.

I just use the assault class sticky nade and fire it to the side or behind him.

Try the Rorsch, I swear I was one on one with a rao and their Rorsch and they were damaging me head on. They were running the full auto capacitor.

Bro the rpg and the launchers are literally designed to shred past armor and explode past that. Thats how they are even able to damage tanks and armored vehicles. Direct hit missiles should definetly kill him straight up.
Dozer is one of the characters that makes 100% sense.
We had rat Mckay being obnoxious now we have Dozer taking care of what Mckay couldn't aka floor 0 level.
For years the counterplay to 'riot shields' was explosive spam alas we also give him flak jacket AND he can swap in and out of it so fast that if you see him and try to 180 and tac sprint he can draw and shoot.
Well, I guess that shows me that AP ammo of regular guns doesn't seems to have any effect on his shield too...😅

The hit box isn't too big. I personally Tier 1 Dozer myself and it was a challenge getting all those kills. I've gotten killed in the feet more times than I can count. If someone is close enough to him they deserve to die. You can easily run away from Dozer if several people are shooting at him with his shield 🛡️ out. The purpose of using Dozer is to help push the team forward in a stalemate if a team is having difficulty moving forward. So if you reduce his hit box on his shield too much Dozer becomes pointless to use. I honestly think he's balanced enough. You just need to learn how to counter Dozer.

Or simply keep shooting at his Vulcan minigun and it will be destroyed. Crawford is the worse specialist to master in Battlefield 2042 right now.

So tldr, there's no (GUARANTEED) effective counter against Dozer until he's nerfed. Obviously hopping around to get beside/behind him is the most effective. I successfully defibbed him once last week, my first attempt. Not sure if luck or not, but will try again and see. Of course in the heat of the moment when you have like 3 seconds to deal with him I usually panic and run away like an idiot lol...
Use a Incendiary GL on a Assault rifle and get a direct hit with it and Dozer will be cooked literally in a matter of seconds.

how about using the incendiary near you in order to prevent him from coming closer?
If they are smart they would carry a Smoke grenade to counter that (even though yes it will leave them open for a counter attack) since smoke grenades snuff out the flames of a incendiary grenade rendering that method useless.
