That beautiful Austrian porcelain container I believe was used for low flower arrangements, or for smaller potted plants that could be placed on the dining table and not obscure being able to see other the guests. They were also placed on wider windowsills so you would have a lovely floral arrangement and still be able to see outside. That planter is very old, probably earlier 20th century or maybe even late 1800’s Victorian era. I have some very old glass flower “frogs” - frogs were made of glass, metal, or ceramic that had holes in them so that you could place your cut flowers and greenery in, and then place into your container of choice. NIPPO = NIPPON JAPAN started using in the 7th Century. In 1921 the stamps on pottery/glass items was changed to Japan. I have a few NIPPON stamped items and they are collectable and fairly rare. ❤
😮 I had a Rustic Cuff bracelet wider than one in the video from a jewelry bag purchase,, 😢 I didn't know. Got rid of it with the other items I didn't want.
I think those little bowls with the acorns might be for individual servings of nuts. Probably had a bigger bowl that used to go with the set too. Great find!
That was some awesome shopping. I think the last pin was a copy of an Order of The Garter metal from Scotland. The Purses were 4 sure a score. I haven't been able to buy on you latest auctions...ya know bills and stuff. Next month though I'm there!
